Trapdoor Posted February 7 Report Posted February 7 Is there a way that window assignments to the various desktop tabs can be saved? Running 7.14.2 It’s a bit frustrating after setting up say Colour Pallets on Monitor 2 and Effects on 3 (as an example) that on desk reboot they’re all unassigned again. Thanks. Quote

When you switch on the console, the custom desktop layouts that were present when the console was last used should be recalled. Please rearrange your desktop layouts how you'd like them. Then tap SETUP twice to enter and exit Setup, which will force the show file to be saved to the internal storage. If you then switch the console off and on again, are the custom desktop layouts recalled? Quote Edward Smith Product Specialist Email Support
Trapdoor Posted February 8 Author Report Posted February 8 @Edward Z88 Thanks for the information and I thought I was going a bit mad because that’s how I thought it worked and would have expected it to work. However I’ve just checked again and nope, it wouldn’t save the desktops and in fact after shuffling screens into desktops, when rebooted it loaded to a completely empty suite of Desktops, even Desktop 1. So I factory reset the desk and now it’s working as expected again. Fortunately we’ve only just started for the spring production so nothing lost that 20 mins of repatching won’t fix! Thanks for your help. Quote

Please keep an eye on this. If the issue happens again, this could suggest the console's internal battery is going flat. In which case, we can provide instructions on how to replace the battery. 1 Quote Edward Smith Product Specialist Email Support
KWR88 Posted February 8 Report Posted February 8 That may indicate a possible battery issue if the screens are coming up blank Is it holding the date and time correctly? Do you see or have you have seen any NVR error message when you boot the desk up? 1 Quote Regards, Keith Rogers Zero 88 Support: support@zero88.com

It appears to be working as expected now, but will see once I load the fixtures back. 1 Quote
Trapdoor Posted February 10 Author Report Posted February 10 Quick update … all seems to be working fine now and loads all the correct desktops on a reboot even with the fixtures and Playback/cue stack loaded. Must have got something corrupted internally 🤷🏼♂️🫤 2 Quote
