Hi, I have a problem with a flx s48. After startup it asks to insert a memory stick, saves the file but the console does not start. How do I fix this, I have an upcoming show.

Does it look like the OS is corrupt? Is it asking for a bootable stick with the OS on it?

I read in the manual that it is possible with an external keyboard by pressing F1 to enter a service menu. I'll try this procedure tomorrow morning.

Sounds like the OS is corrupt. There is a way to make a bootable USB stick. Keith @KWR88 can provide instructions.

It is extremely unlikely for the OS to have corrupted. My guess is that the show file that was on the console had corrupted. As a side note, FLX S consoles cannot be recovered using a bootable USB drive. FLX S consoles must use the start-up tool for recovery.

Thanks @Edward Z88 my bad. Out of interest, does the full FLX have the start-up recovery tool?
