Pause button flashing

I can't remember if this one is a long standing buggette, or whether it means what's on stage versus in the cue is out of sync and you need to GO to align them!

Yea ok, useless answer!

I found this in an old Beta comment, if it applies to your scenario:

Also when I do Shift+Go (Go Snap) why does the Pause/Back button start flashing?

Shift+GO also acts as a pause - stopping chases or Auto cues from triggering (useful when updating cues) and hence the Pause button flashes to let you know.

Can someone remind me why the pause button is flashing after recording a cue.

If you have SmartTag disabled, and you record a cue, you will immediately snap into the cue you just recorded, and the manually adjusted programmer values will be cleared automatically. As you have essentially done a GO Snap without running the cue's fade times, the Pause button will flash.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Edward, I haven't checked that smarttag was disabled, will do tomorrow.

It's something I always forget to turn back on after disabling to stop an effect etc.

Wish there was a way to have it auto re-enable after turning it off as 99% of the time I want it on, but forget when recording the next cue

I definitely understand this request. On the other hand, personally I would not want SmartTag to turn back on if I'd turned it off. More thought required...
