nitronick Posted August 25, 2004 Report Posted August 25, 2004 Need some help here guys. Our FatFrog got rainsoked over the weekend! The Tech that was at the show covered it with a tarp, but didn't put the lid on. From what I was told, it had quite a bit of water, but he fired it up anyway(don't ask me why). He spent the next several hour getting the water out and blowdrying it. Where we are at now. When you hit the power, you can hear the floppy try to start, and the LCD interface screen is nothing but blocks. Do you think I can try reloading new software, or is the BIOS gone? I appreciate any help I can get. I really need to get this going, as I need it here for the next few weeks for shows! Thanks Quote
Pipo Posted August 25, 2004 Report Posted August 25, 2004 do you see anything on the monitor? Maybe connect some fixtures and see what it does. Quote Den Pipo Pro Light Design
KWR88 Posted August 25, 2004 Report Posted August 25, 2004 Dear Sir, I think that I have answered this from a direct e-mail and recommended that you contact our US dealer. From what you have said though it looks like the liquid has got into the DIMM or battery and possibly damaged these. Quote Regards, Keith Rogers Zero 88 Support: support@zero88.com
