  1. You can assign your washes to the channels 1-48 AND you can change the intensity with the wheels. Select the Fixtures with the Flash button (special page2 -> Fashmode -> Off/select). Change the MFK to "Position" and move the wheel labeled with "Itensity". If you want to use the flash buttons for flashing or as "latch", it is also possible to use the wheel. You can make groups with the fixtures on the channel and the fixtures in the MFKs. Select the group and change the intensity with the wheel. You can also assign more than one dmx channel to a channel Fader. Go to setup -> Select "Edit Fixtures" -> select your channels you want to change -> than go to "patch". Here you can make duplicates. You can now change more than one DMX channel with one Fader - but you can't assign different values to the several dmx channels, assigned to that one Fader. Therefore you should assign each dmx channel or Fixture a own Fader/MFK and use the Submasters or the group function and the wheels or Memories. You know that you can program memories including the intensity levels of the selected fixtures ;-) One additional Question to the members of this forum: Why is it not possible to store the intensity levels into a pallet?
  2. More Submasters - good idea! Some more MFK - also good idea. I think a dmx output makes sence if the box/wing can work "stand alone" and/or you can output universe 3+4. The stand alone feature would be perfect for small jobs with a view conventionals and moving heads, e.g exhibitions, trade shows, small club concerts - where the LeapFrog is physically "oversized" I know that you place the Jester consoles in that market - but the show files are not the same. Price? For a "simple" wing with about 12 additional Faders, Displays and some MFKs not more than a juggler or jester desk. With more features like dmx out and "stand alone mode" I would spend the same money as for a JesterML.
  3. Hi Peter, Thank you for your answer. It's a pity that this is not possible. Unfortunately it is not possible to link macros in chase steps, that could be the solution. If I have some leisure time I try to figure out a workaround for the problem. I tough about a memory with a jump in the stack during the songs where I would use this effect. But this is not that easy. Best regards Christian
  4. Hello, Could someone tell me how to disable the "go" function automatically on a submaster after I started a chase please? Or tell me something equivalent? I tried to figure out how to do this but I'm at a loss. Example: Chase for some four Light Blinders: 1st Step: 100% 2nd Step: 0%. Brightness Attack: Slow Decay Shots: 1 Flash Button Action: Go. Now I want to start the chase several times to the music - just pressing the Submaster Button once for one cycle. With "Flash Button Action: Go" I have to press the button twice. The first time to start the chase and the second time to "release" the Button. Linked Macros don't work, because they disable the submaster immediately, so the "effect" of the chase is gone. Moving the fader up and down works, but that takes to long for some kind of these effects. Thank you for reading and your suggestions. Best regards Christian
  5. Hello, We own a LeapFrog48 -which is a great desk - but for some smaller venues with only a view dimmer channels it is "too much". So we are thinking about to buy a smaller desk for that. But which one? A few years ago I'm sure a console just for conventional (like the juggler) should be great - but nowadays there is a inflationary use of moving lights and LED fixtures. Due to your website the only Zero88 desk that make sense is the Jester Ml24. We don't want to make huge moving light shows, at first it has to control up to 12 generic dimmer channels (submaster, scenes and chasers) and maybe some LED fixture or one or two moving light for advertisement with custom gobos. Important: easy to use - if possible also without an external monitor. So my question is: Can we use the show files (patch, pallets and memories) and the user fixture files from the LeapFrog48 on the jester ML console?
  6. Hello Zero88, It would be nice if you think about a feature to assign each submaster a individual "step time". e.g. hold down the step button and step in the time using the submaster flash buttons. This would be very useful for live concerts, today every chase on the submasters has the same speed if you "step in" the speed. Another suggestion is a graphical overview what channels on the universe were patched/used during the dialog "assing new fixtures". I know this feature from other desks (also zero88 ones), an it is very comfortabel if you have to patch some additional fixtures. Kind regards Christian
  7. Hi Peter, Thank you for your Answer. I run the NVR Check - it passed without any Error Messages. Looks like a empty or damaged battery. We will contact our distributor.
  8. Hello Zero88, I don't know if I am in the right part of the Forum, maybe it's a bug or my desk is broken "out of the box" or the things i describe below are "hidden Features" ;-) Last Week I got my (new) LeapFrog 48. One of the first things I had done was a update to the current software release as described and published on zero88.com. Successfully. After the first Show I wonder a little about some facts or let’s say I’ am a little bit disappointed. First of all: The desk "forgets" the actual Date+Time, DMX Patch and Monitor calibration after turning of the power switch on the back. Is there no internal Battery? The desk is new, so when there is one, is it empty or is there any internal protection I have to remove? Other oddities: Is there no internal Memory to save the actual show on the Desk? After the boot sequence the submaster labels still exist - but the rest of the show? If the USB Stick (the zero88 one) is plugged, the console tries to boot from the stick. Is it possible to change the boot sequence? Thank you in advance for reading. Best regards from Germany Christian
  9. Hello, Sorry for my bad english, but I hope you'll understand my Problem. If I change the submaster pages there will be a very uncontrolled movment / lighting of all fixtures. For example the scanner mirrors "tremor" and dimmerchannels "flash" for about one second. Thats only when the submaster pages be changed. If I put a dmx booster/splitter (outputs electrically isolated) between the desk and all fixtures then there are no problems. Recently I notice an uncontrolled flashing of all channels for about two seconds. The Error seems to be randomly distributed. I can't see any interrelationship to any acitvities I've done when it happens. It only happens once or twice a evenging (=10h). I know that one of the submasters (#9) is fault - if it's put "absolute" to zero sometimes it flashes to 100%. Is that the reason? I want to replace the fader - is there anything that should be checked too? And last but not least: May you tell me where I can get spare parts for the desk in Germany? Many thanks and best regards Christian
