Map Fixture Values to external Monitor in Editing Mode?
Morn replied to Morn's topic in Frog Range MK1
Imagine you have a fully loaded Bull Frog and have to edit each of the 96 generics via this tiny 4 line main LCD display. Sounds like fun:-) Even though I'm just operating a Fat Frog I use 99% of the time the Monitor instead of the main LCD. Even if the Monitor would brake I would rather take my private PC Monitor to work, than just using LCD. I think the main problem is, that the main LCD is much to small. Maybe you can fix this in the next software update. So if mapping the fixtures is to much, maybe only the primary fixture could be mapped without editing capabilities via keyboard....or just the HTP values? P.S.: We'll still prefer using the desk instead of the Frog Box...a large desk with a lotsa faders, knobs and lights is much more impressive on girls than a 5 buttoned box and PC keyboard. *ggg* -

Map Fixture Values to external Monitor in Editing Mode?
Morn replied to Morn's topic in Frog Range MK1
Yes, something like that in the "channel edit data" screen. (you know, the one that apears after pressing the enter button) -
Yes, I mean a square piece of cardboard with dimensions of a keyboard with holes for the keys or keyfields in it. Like in some of those old computer games like Silent Service II on Amiga or so... Maybe the sticker thing would work the same way...people just have to buy blank sticker paper, print the corresponding file and then cut the stickers out with scissors, knifes, chainsaw or what's at hand....

Frog Run hi score lost after software update, nnnnnoooooo!!

My scores went lost after updating and then loading back the showfile...so something must gone wrong there  -
Is it possible to map fixture values of a scene or a chase in editing or blind editing mode to the screen like it is done with the HTP values of generic channels? Would be quiet handy for me 'cause external Monitor and keyboard are on the left side of the desk, and it is a long way (or a long look) to the fixture LCD on the other side of the desk. And of course it would increase overview a bit. Thanx

Is there a chance to let the show move on, when changing from Super User menu to Desk Setup menu? I had to change the Pan/Tilt swappings during a show 'cause I noticed that they're mixed a bit up after installing OS 9.8. It really sucked when the show stopped for this while...

After instaling OS 9.8 all my Frog Run hi scores where gone...is there a possibility to keep them in any way? E.g. save them in showfile or something like that...this is very important. Without the possibility to restore this most vital data, further updating of our desk will be impossible...Thank you...

Back to the Cardboard Overlay thing for keyboards....Why not make an official printable file with the design of this cardboard overlay...Everybody could print it then on paper, cardboard or what ever and cut it out... Advantage: no printing or shipping costs for the Zero88 dudes, you can print yourself a new one, when you drop your Machito on the keyboard and of course when there are updates of the keyboard mapping. :-) What do ya think of that?

What about a kinda "Frog Reference Thread" where all Frog Reference Numbers with explanations are listed by software version number. Or at least everything which may be integrated someday as part of one of the future releases.

Hey great!!!! I'm looking forward to this. *celebrate* 8) Thank you very much !!!

@ice: It's a bit difficult to route several instruments from a CD Player  I'm working at a club and we don't have live concerts at the moment, just tea-dance ;-) and in result of this only canned music.

But doing the chase manually would be to much work...I need often both hands for using Palettes, Encoderwheels or/and submaster flash buttons. As I said i currently use Beat function, which would be totally ok, if there were not this delay while stepping (especially slow chases). (see HERE for this Bug) But an option to have Bass Function exactly on snare (for Rock) or on bass drum sounds (for Techno) would be heaven to me! *ggg*

Thats quite difficult, 'cause the musicrange our DJs play is from EBM, Electro, Noise, Darkwave to Metal, duck, Rock and Pop. In a few weeks there'll be even a kind of latin/salsa party. The EQ thing is a nice idea, but I would be so occupied with altering the frequencys that I have no time anymore for doing something with scanners or setting accents to the music by flashing PARs or so. At the moment I use the Beat Modifier to step in the speed of the chases, but this is often a bit inaccurate, as described by me here. I would have been nice if the desk had done this for me! Especially when I'm quickly down to the bar, for picking up a Machito or beer or so.

I'm using a FatFrog console and a Demux48 along with some analog LLT D 212 A Dimmers (and some PARs of course )

RecOuts Output Level is -10dBV (1V)/1kOhm I also tried FX Send -14dBV (1V)/1kOhm and Booth Monitor (adjustable by poti) 0dBV (1V) 1kOhm but all without a satisfying result.

Hi again. I've got another problem. This time it's the Beat Modifier. It seems to have a little delay. I always have to push the step button a moment before i.e. the downbeat of the music. The slower the music is, the earlier I have to push the button to be exactly in time with the music (no matter which attack modifier I use). Is there a solution for this problem?

Hi Folks I've got a problem with the Fat Frogs Bass Modifier. It doesn't trigger on the Downbeats of the inserted music signal. The triggering seems at will and is not regular to the music. I connected the audio cable to the (non-adjustable) RecOut RCA-Connectors of my audiomixer. Thank You for your time.
