Our fixture library has a 'conventionals' section which includes a single dimmer. This should do what you want. If it's not on your desk already, you will have to use our Common Fixture Manager to load it onto your desk. Hi Eji, To record everything as you see it on stage (ie... including submasters) you need to ensure that Smart Tag is 'on'. On the Leap Frog, this is on one of the MultiFunction Buttons when you press 'Special'. Hope this helps,

Although I see why this would be a useful feature, I also see several 'problems' it could bring. I think several users could start getting confused as to what button is doing what, and hence making mistakes etc. How does a user who didn't program the console know how each button is set up to function? Should a solo channel take out latched channels or leave them in? The Jester is designed to be a very simple, visual desk. I think adding levels of complexity in like this should be left to our higher end consoles. A not-great work around, if you need something to imitate 'latching', would be to press and hold the flash button while pushing the fader up. I hope this helps explain both points of view!

Hi Guys, The new ZerOS software is not fully supported on the older Frog 2 consoles, as the hardware can't support it all. There are two options to fully run 5.4: there is an upgrade kit available to replace the hardware inside the desk, or alternatively it's time to look at replacing the desk to a newer generation Frog 2, Leap Frog or ORB (soon, ORB XF). Your local dealer can give you more information, including prices, for both these options. Cheers

There is no way to directly change the speed of a chase by a cue. However, if you created the chase through the effects engine, you could then slow down and speed up the effect, which would continue to run uninterrupted, just with your new speed setting. Hope this helps to solve your problem?

Sorry Chris - can I just confirm exactly what you want to do so I don't give you the wrong info?! You have a chase at 80 BPM (beats per minute). You then want to press 'GO' (Cue 2), and for that chase to slow down to 20BMP, but to continue 'uninterrupted'? Cheers,

Hi TataGoc, There is no way to switch the DMX channels around, this is hard coded onto the Lighting Fixture itself. However, the manual is showing that the strobe channel will stay 'open' whilst on 0 or 1 (out of 255), so I suggest you move up the strobe channel just slightly so it's showing '1' instead of being completely down, and hopefully this should solve your problem? Hi kbonnici, You need to use a chilli rs232 node. The sequence runs as follow: pc > rs 232 node > rj 12 cable > dimmer rj 12 connection. Without the node the network traffic will collide giving the error messages. Part code 01-211-00 chilli RS 232 link. List cost £255. You can purchase this via your local Zero88 dealer. Palettes on the Jester are designed to be created before a show or gig, so they are ready to be applied during programming or whilst live operating the desk. A work around might be to apply the palette to your fixtures, make any changes and then instead of editing the palette, simply overwrite it. Hope this helps? Many Thanks
