Hi Carwyn, On the Leap Frog 48, the only way to access submasters 11 - 30 is via an external manual desk plugged into the DMX IN. However, remember that the submasters are pagable - so you could always copy Submaster 1/11 to Submaster 2/1 (1st submaster of page 2) etc Hope this helps,

Hi BDA, Thanks for all that information and the debug file - I will pass this onto our software team. For now, I suggest saving your show onto a memory stick, and then doing a full reset of the desk. This is inside SETUP > CLEAR OPTIONS > and then Reset Desk whilst holding down shift. The console will ask you to confirm if this is what you really want to do, and then it will ask you to turn the console off and back on again. After this, try reloading your show file and seeing if you still experience problems. Many Thanks

Hi lxkev, Could you send me a show file please to help me recreate this? Many Thanks

Hi Both, What size memory sticks are you using to update the desk? If you haven't, I would suggest trying memory sticks with 1GB or less of memory. Also, avoid the Kingston Traveler range - these have software preloaded onto them which stops them working as bootable drives.

Hi Zulu, Welcome to the Zero 88 support forums! As jonasprawer suggests, without knowing which desk you have this is a little but harder! For best results, you should post this in the relevant forum. At the bottom of the main forum page (http://support.zero88.com/forum) you will see a section for each of our current products, as well as sections for our past, discontinued product. However, if you just reply letting us know which console you have, I will move this post to where it needs to be! Many Thanks,

This would certainly make sense, I have recorded the request as ZOS-3222.

Hi lxkev, We don't have this personality in our library at the moment, sorry. If you do make it, and you wouldn't mind sending it to me, we can include it in the next release of the fixture library for you. Many Thanks

Hi Matthew, Can you send me a copy of the show file please? My email address is jon.hole@cooperindustries.com Hopefully with this I can help you further. Many Thanks

Is It possible to connect Keyboard to the Jester R1
Jon Hole replied to jonasprawer's topic in Jester Range
This is not possible without upgrading to the new hardware. However, you can still name memories and submasters. On Jester MLs, the fixture buttons / LCDs come up with abc, def, ghi etc and you can use these like you would text on a mobile phone. With the non-ML Jesters, the bottom row of flash buttons do the same job and a pop up on screen shows you exactly what each button does. I hope this helps, -
Hi Cowboy57, Please find attached the fixture personality for the American DJ X-Move LED. x-move.ift

If you are happy to have your non-dim equipment attached to the dimmers, you can check that the 'beamshape' time is set to 0 as default. The 'relay' profile in the fixture library has the channel inside beamshape, and in most circumstances you would probably want beamshape to be '0' anyway. This will do the equivalent of snapping that channel on and off.

Anything that you send back to us will need an RMA number, so we can track it through the system when it arrives at our warehouse. It's probably best to talk to Keith, our Service Manager, about both of the products. He can probably advice of someone nearer to you who might be able to help fix your Demux. His number is +44 (0)1633 833101 and email is keith.rogers@cooperindustries.com I hope this helps

Hi Simon, You can record any data, including Intensities, into palettes, it's just that by default the desk will only select colour information when you record a colour palette, position information for a position palette and so on. To record intensities too, just select 'Intensities' in the Record Window that pops up. To do this, you just program the lights at the intensities you need, press RECORD COLOUR/BEAMSHAPE/POSITION (whichever you want) and then select INTENSITIES at the bottom of the record window. To recall these, just type COLOUR/BEAMSHAPE/POSITION X ENTER. I hope this helps,

Hi Simon, You shouldn't really be using a dimming circuit to power a non-dim product, even if you switch it directly from 0% to 100%. This is because the voltage is still having to go through a triac, which the Power Supply of the unit (the UV cannon in your case) won't like. This can lead to the equipment failing. This picture shows the waveform going through a triac. You can see how the PSU will think that it's getting turned on and off repeatedly. To get from 0% to 100%, you still have to go through 1% - 99%, even if it is very quickly. The relay option in the fixture library is to help you identify which are the non-dimming switch packs that you have patched into the console, in the same way that you can patch a PAR Can, Houselight or Fresnel. I hope this explains things clearly, if you would like more information please let me know,

Here at Zero 88, we are a big fan of a mid morning cuppa and cake. Being Christmas, it only seems right that the cake be a Mince Pie - which got us thinking: which is the best Mince Pie available? We're not wanting the effort of home made baking, or the cost of expensive 'Tesco Finest' pies, just your standard boxed festive treat. We're now turning to you for suggestions. Which Mince Pies will be making your Christmas special this year? We will update this as the results come in, but so far (score out of ten): Asda (8.5) Mr Kipling (8.15) Greggs (7.5) Sainsburys (7.5) Aldi (7.15) Iceland (6.5) Morrisons (6.25) Tesco: (6) Lidl: (4.16) Sainsbury's Bakery (4) So, let us know what we need to try next...

Hi Rscraft, What version of desk software are you running? Thanks

This fixture is in the fixture library available on our website. Here's the link: http://support.zero88.com/main/en/product/9 You will need to download Fixture Tools Version 2.1 and the Fixture Editor User Guide.

Hi Thorsten, We are looking into this and will reply to your email again once we know more information. Many Thanks,

Hi David, When you press the Submaster to select it, press the right arrow to select the step (second column). Select the step before the one you want to record (probably the last one, so in your example step two) and then press 'Insert'. This will insert your third step. I hope this helps,

Hi Matthew, There is no way to park a channel on the Leap Frog - this is a feature on the ORB and ORB XF Series. All intensities on the Leap Frog will get affected by the Grandmaster / Blackout. A workaround could be to make a fixture personality which just has a single channel inside Beamshape, Colour or Position. These won't get affected by the Grandmaster / Blackout. When recording a Submaster, you can go into comments (or hold SETUP and press the flash button if you are running v6.0), go into Submaster Control and tick Beamshape, Colour or Position - this means that they won't snap on at 5% but fade with the submaster as you would expect from an intensity.

I'll try and recreate this, thanks. If you do find this problem, you should be able to use an external keyboard. As above, I'll try and recreate this. Are you sure they aren't programmed in the memories or in a submaster? Opening the 'Outputs' window, and then clicking on 'Source' will show you why each channel is outputting the value it is. I will add this as an issue. When you press 'name', you can then press 'Position' to jump to selecting position palette in the drop down menu. Maybe instead of the MFKs showing a number pad when in the 'number' field, it could just show all the palettes. As mentioned in the email to you earlier this month, this is something we are looking into improving. Also mentioned in the email, we are looking at requests to provide the remote on other systems, such as Android and WM7.

Hi James, There are two different cards for the old and the new Leap Frogs. The new card has a RS232 port on it. Cheers

strange behavior on LeapFrog 48 / OS 6
Jon Hole replied to Carl Ehrhardt's topic in Leap Frog 48 & 96
Hi Carl, We haven't experienced this problem. Could you give me some details about the memory stick? How big is it and who is it made by? Once you have plugged in the memory stick, how long do you leave it plugged in for before unplugging it? Are you inside SETUP when you plug the USB stick in? The more information you can provide the better! Many Thanks
