  1. Try downloading the ZerOS Remote Monitor software for Windows, and using either a router, or a crossover cable, try connecting your laptop / computer to the console and making that connection. This will be a good way to see if your console's Ethernet port is working correctly.
  2. Hi James, Sorry - there is no way to do this on our smaller, Jester consoles.
  3. Hi Elli, We're currently on version 6 of the software, which was released late last year. We are working on a couple bug fixes which managed to creep in, however we have not set a release date for this software yet - however it won't be too far away! Hope this helps,
  4. Hi, The English manual can be downloaded from here: http://common.zero88.com/public/files/Mambo_Frog_Manual_Issue3C.pdf I hope this helps
  5. What version of software are you running? You can find this in Setup > Files > Desk Information > Software Version
  6. Hi Daniel, There is no reason why this won't work. If it's a direct link you will need to use a crossover cable, and ensure that the first 3 parts of the IP address match on your laptop and on the console, with the subnet mask of 255.255.255.0 Hope this helps,
  7. Page 45 of the manual above details how to edit the patch.
  8. Hi, All the information is available in the manual, which can be found on our website to download, or by following this direct link (pdf). http://common.zero88.com/public/files/Leap+Frog+48_96+Manual+Issue+3.pdf I hope this helps
  9. Hi, We provide all the tools for free to make these yourself. They are available to download here: http://support.zero88.com/main/en/product/9 You need to download Fixture Tools V 2.1 and the Fixture Editor User Guide. Alternatively we can make this for you, but there is a small backlog at the moment so it might be quicker to use the tools provided. If you do make it, it would be great if you can send it through so we can include it in the Global Fixture Library for other people to use it too. Thanks
  10. Which version of the Leap Frog do you have? There is the old version, which doesn't have small LCD screens above the submasters or the keys on the right, and says Leap Frog on the bottom left of the console. This desk is part of the old 'FROG' range, which had super user mode etc - however it doesn't support the ZerOS Remote.
  11. Hi Noizeboy92, The desk doesn't have a 'super user mode'? The DCHP will only work if your wireless router is DCHP compatible. If it's not, you'll need to set that option to know and set the IP addresses manually. Could this be the problem?
  12. I think we'll have to look into this a bit further and do some tests. Thanks for your help and for sending over the show files!
  13. If you have something plugged into the DMX IN whilst programming, the desk is going to be storing a snap shot of all 512 channels for each memory and submaster you program, which I think is the problem you are experiencing. If you are using the DMX in device for playback, I wouldn't have it plugged in whilst recording or the above is going to happen and you will be faced with the problem you have described. If there is a '+' in the cue, that means it has recorded DMX IN data too. I hope this clears up the problems?
  14. Hi Härterei, It appears you are using the 'DMX In' on the desk whilst recording cues - how is your rig set up and what are you using the 'DMX In' for? Cheers
  15. Hi Stefan, Thanks for your feedback! Hopefully I can help answer some of your questions: Could you expand on this a little please? Once you have recorded a memory you can go along to the 'name' column, press 'Enter' to start editing that cell, then use a Keyboard or the Multi Function Keys to give that memory a name. Because the speed override on the Leap Frog slows down or speeds up the fade in relation to the time you programmed, this figure would keep changing. It's also designed for 'live' control where you need to 'feel' the fade instead of have it at a set time, which would usually be prerecorded. If you want to change the fade time during the show, you can use the curser keys to go to the fade time of that memory, and use the + / - or the wheels to change the time. We will have a look at how this could be made quicker to update - thanks for your idea! The Leap Frog is designed to only have the one Play back (or 'cuestack'). This helps keep the desk simple and quick for programming. We retain multiple playbacks to the ORB Series of consoles. We'll have a look at this too and discuss the options! This is something that we have built into the ORB Series of consoles, which are based around the keypad and command line syntax. With the faders and fixtures together you can control 248 channels of dimming from the Leap Frog 48. For fixtures with multiple RGB values, we use Red1, Green1, Blue1, Red2, Green2, Blue2 etc but only select 'Red', 'Green' and 'Blue' in the 'special' drop down list for one set, leaving the other RGB sets to 'none'. This is something that is built into our ORB Series consoles, and something that has been discussed for the Leap Frogs. Keep tuned! Not at all a problem, let me know when you are visiting and we will book you in. If you can't make one of the training dates, as long as the demo room is available we can still spend a day doing some training with you. I hope this has all helped.
  16. Hi, The memory in the Jester is fixed, so it can't be upgraded - however you shouldn't be reaching capacity unless you have programmed all the subs, palettes and have well over 400 cues. Could you send me a show file please? My email is jon.hole@cooperindustries.com Many Thanks
  17. If you can let me know what the serial number is, I will let you know a cost. Cheers
  18. Hi, You need to change the DMX address on your other fixtures to Ch 8, instead of Ch 2. I think that will solve your problem.
  19. The easiest way to do what you want would be to use Submasters. When in RUN mode, the bottom row of faders become Submasters, and you can record single states ('looks'), or chases, onto each submaster. To do this, whilst in PROGRAM, use the bottom row of flash buttons to select one of the Submasters. Use the faders (in program the bottom faders are still channels) to create the look on stage that you want, and then press the record button. To record a chase, do the same as above but record only the first step (ie channel 1 at full). Then, set up the second step of the chase (ie channel 2 at full, channel 1 back off) and press record again. On the screen it will show a warning message asking if you want to overwrite the submaster. If you go left, and then up, you will select the 'make chase' option. Now repeat this for steps 3, 4, 5 of your chase etc etc (although this time it won't ask if you want to overwrite the submaster, as it already knows you are creating a chase). When in run mode, push this fader up, and use the chase controllers on the desk (direction, speed, attack) to change how the chase looks. Hope this all makes sense!
  20. Hi Donato, If you can't upgrade to 3.4 you won't be able to upgrade to 3.2. It's not the software that's causing the problem, it's either the mix of hardware between the Jester and your memory stick, or the files that are on the memory stick. Try checking that there are only two files on the memory stick, both fully unzipped, no other zip file, and that none of the files are inside directories. Many Thanks
  21. Thanks both for pointing this out. It has been listed as issue ZOS-3227 on our database.
  22. Hi LDash, We stock spare faders for all the old FROG range. If you can email me the serial number of the desk, and which parts you want replacements for, we can sort this out for you. Many Thanks,
  23. Many thanks for sharing this with us. We've made an official profile for the Mac 350 Entour, which will be included in our next release of the Fixture Library. I have attached this here, so users can download this version, which includes both modes. Mac350.ift
  24. Hi Simon, What sort of developments are you looking for? What you actually see, once you have connected to your desk, is being broadcast directly from the software on your console, which is ZerOS. We are continuously working on ZerOS to bring bug fixes, improvements and new features.
  25. Hi Carwyn, On the Leap Frog 48, the only way to access submasters 11 - 30 is via an external manual desk plugged into the DMX IN. However, remember that the submasters are pagable - so you could always copy Submaster 1/11 to Submaster 2/1 (1st submaster of page 2) etc Hope this helps,
