Hi Kev, The colour picker only works with RGB or CMY values. The White and Amber will appear as separate channels on the colour wheels. The tools to create fixtures are available to download here: http://support.zero88.com/main/en/download/521 And there are instructions available here: http://support.zero88.com/main/en/download/520 I hope this helps,

Hi Kev, This should work fine. As with your other problems, if you can send me a show file, and the syntax you are using to record the UDK, I'll let you know how to make it work. Many Thanks
-
Hi Kev, Could you send me a show file with how to recreate this and the patching issues you have reported please? Many Thanks

Illusion 500 does not accept Virtual Channels in Pofiles
Jon Hole replied to SimonB's topic in Illusion Range
Hi Simon, Thanks for that reference. I have updated the file to Issue 3, which now mentions that Virtual Intensities are not available on the Illusion 500 range. Thanks :-) -
Illusion 500 does not accept Virtual Channels in Pofiles
Jon Hole replied to SimonB's topic in Illusion Range
Which LED fixtures are you using? Generally there is a mode that will include a dimming channel on the fixture. Which document makes it sound like the Illusion supports virtual dimmers? If you can point me to which one it is, we will see if we can make it clearer. Hope this helps, -
Hi, With this limited information I'm not sure what's going on. Could you send me a showfile and explain what button pushes I need to make to recreate this problem? Thank you
-
Hi, Could you link us to the Energy Efficient lamps that you are wanting to use? It's doubtful they will work, but you can get dim-able Low Energy lamps that are suitable.

Instead of having the generics at 101, and the fixtures down at 25 etc, try resetting the desk, and having the fixtures addressed to the higher figures instead. The desk will default the faders to a 1:1 patch, so they will use up DMX channels 1 - 96. Try addressing your fixtures to 100 and 150, and re-assigning and patching them into the console.

Hi Ron, Can you go into SETUP > Files > Desk Information and confirm that the 'Software Version' is 6.1.0? This was a bug that a few users found in Version 6, and that was fixed for 6.1, so I am wondering if the new software hasn't installed properly for you. Many Thanks
-
You can only have one intensity per fixture unfortunately. Solutions are that you can either run these as normal channels, or patch them in as additional dimmer channels for each of the Red, Green and Blue channels. I hope this helps,
-
Hi Jam11, Could you email me a version of the show file and we'll investigate this when I'm back in the office at the end of the week. Many Thanks,

Hi Nick, Which version of the Common Fixture Manager are you using? As I posted in the other thread that you posted this problem in, we have discovered a problem in the Common Fixture Manager that affects all our older discontinued desks. We have updated the website so that discontinued products point to an older version of the Common Fixture Manager. I hope this helps, http://support.zero88.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=5774&st=0&p=23825entry23825

Hi John, Thanks for the feedback. I have added this to our database as issue JES-3253. Many Thanks
-
I'm glad that's helped. I think you have summed up what we are trying to achieve. It's for this reason that the Cope / Move buttons don't just say that, but say 'Copy To' and 'Move To' - there's no confusion in which way around to type the syntax. However, thanks for the feedback, and please keep it coming. We take all suggestions seriously, and they get logged into a database which we then discuss and prioritise.

Hi Karleaton, The Record syntax is consistent, in such as you always follow these steps: - Start with what you want to record. This might be bring up channels, laying out the screens, or entering a pre recorded item (such as a palette). - Second, press record - Third, state where you want it. This might be by typing CUE 1, or by pressing <UDK> So, the syntax CUE n RECORD <UDK> is following this by stating that you want the contents of CUE n, RECORDed in <UDK> I hope this clears things up,

If you want to record information that's not in the programmer (ie from Submasters or UDKs), you need to turn on 'Smart Tag' or 'Snap Shot'. These can both be turned on in the record window that pops up when you press RECORD.

Hi, Check that your Floppy isn't write protected, and maybe try a few different disks. If that doesn't work, give Keith a call on the number in his signature above. Cheers

Hi Piero, The old FROG 2 hardware has 2 USB ports on the front, whereas the new hardware only has the one. There are a lot of changes to the layout of the back panel too (such as more USB ports etc), but this is the easiest to see! Hope this helps,
-
Hi Si, I think we can hopefully help you. Keith is the best person to contact - he's out of the office today (Thursday), but you can try tomorrow. His number is +44 (0) 1633 833 101. Hope he can help you further,

Hi Stephen, Your best bet is to phone Keith, who's our Service Manager, on +44 (0) 1633 833 101.

Beta version of ZerOS Android Remote now available
Jon Hole replied to Kirkup_xp's topic in General Discussion
Hi Veit, We've added you to the Beta Test program - you should now see an additional forum inside 'ZerOS Consoles' called 'Beta Test'. All the instructions and downloads you need are available from here. Thank You for agreeing to help us Beta Test. -
Hi RT59, We have been made aware that certain touch screen drivers have stopped working in Version 6.0.0 of the ZerOS software, which is the release being shipped on new ORBs and ORB XFs. Our software team are currently debugging this problem, and we hope we will have a software release out in the next week or two that will fix this and several other small bugs. I hope this helps,
-
Hi Damo, What control are you wanting? The best thing to install would be the 'ZerOS Remote Monitor', which is available to download, free of charge, here. If I can be any further help please let me know. Many Thanks

Hi Techbppac, Thank's for your feedback and suggestions. That's not quite how tracking works, so we couldn't quite implement it like that. However, having true 'undo' functionality is listed as a future feature to look into implementing. At the moment, you can use backspace to go back into the command line and undo each change you have done, step-by-step, up until you last pressed record or cleared the command line.

If you would like to send it to me to check, please feel free to do so. We can also include it in our next release of the fixture library.
