  1. Hi Matthew, Sorry , I didn't realise you were in Basic. This is a bug that we are looking into at the moment, that affects users in 'Basic' and 'Tracking - Basic' (tracking mode works as expected). Keep an eye on release notes and our twitter feed for the latest ZerOS release.
  2. Do you know the make and model of the USB devices? Thanks Matthew,
  3. Hi Joel, Here you go: 250wash.ift
  4. Hi Matt, The effects that are generated by Auto Palettes are the same every time, no matter which fixtures you have patched, so you should have intensity effects available. If you would like to send me a show file, I can have a look for you and try and find them! Cheers
  5. Hi Both, What software version of ZerOS are you running? Do you have any USB devices plugged in? For faders that don't appear to be working, go to SETUP > DESK SETUP > Event Monitor. In this screen you can move the faders / press buttons and see if the desk is receiving the physical input. If no data is displayed in this window as you move a fader, you know you have a hardware problem. Cheers
  6. Could you go into more detail about what you would like to happen and when? Maybe you could explain your set up too? Thank You
  7. Hi Jo, It's listed on our database as issue ZOS-3560, and will hopefully be fixed in the next release of software. However, there is no timeframe at the moment for when that software will be released.
  8. Hi Carwyn, You can't send commands over ArtNet to trigger cues or submasters. What are you trying to achieve? Maybe we can find another way around this?
  9. We've had requests for this already but unfortunately there isn't a facility to do this on currently shipping hardware. However, it is listed for any future developments that we may like to do, as issue ZOS-3214, and I have added your comments to this issue. If it ever does get implemented, there would certainly be a way to turn it off. There are several users who would dislike this feature... I guess as a professional board op, you don't want the whole auditorium to know every time you make a mistake!
  10. You've hit the nail on the head there - this will be implemented in a future version of the software.
  11. Hi Dan, You will need to email our Customer Services department. Their address is CustomerService@CooperControls.co.uk Many Thanks
  12. Hi Matt, All the fixtures that you make in the fixture library should start at one. Then use the desk to address them. So for example, if your fixture is addressed to dmx 100, do the following: 1 channel 'strobe' fixture addressed to DMX 100. 3 channel RGB dimmer addressed to DMX 101 (this will do the full bar) 3 channel RGB dimmer addressed to DMX 104 (this will do the first section) 3 channel RGB dimmer addressed to DMX 107 (this will do the second section) 3 channel RGB dimmer addressed to DMX 110 (this will do the third section) Those last 4 fixtures can be exactly the same fixture, just tell the desk that you have 4 of them. In fact, on the Leap Frog, you just need to give the first DMX address (101), and then press four of the Multi Function Keys when patching, and the console will automatically address the other 3 fixtures sequentially, knowing they each take up 3 channels. I hope this makes sense?
  13. Hi Matt, Which console are you using to control these? I would suggest patching the bar as 4 separate RGB fixtures (these are available inside 'standard fixtures' and have a virtual intensity channel). This would mean you can put colour / intensity effects across the bar, and control each section using the colour pickers etc (if using a ZerOS console). I would then create a group of the four fixtures for each of the bars, so I also had the choice to control the bar as one fixture if I wished. For the strobe channel, you could either use a basic dimming channel, or create a single channel beamshape fixture. I hope this makes sense?
  14. Hi Rob, We have the Acme iMove 250 moving lights in our Fixture Library, so if they are the fixtures you have acquired then the Jester will be fine controlling these. If they are other fixtures, we can make you a fixture file to install onto the Jester to make them work. The console has some built in movement effects such as circle, triangle, fixture 8 etc, so you will easily be able to create some continuous movements. There are A LOT of advantages to the Leap Frog 48 & 96 consoles, however you have to decide if these are worth the additional cost. If you would like to talk through the options and features, give the office a call and we'll be happy to chat through which is best for you. I hope this helps,
  15. Hi Aurora, Sorry for my delay in replying to your post. Unfortunately, your product isn't listed on our 'compatible external touch screens' post which is available here: http://support.zero88.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=3913 In the next release of ZerOS, which will be a free update coming soon, there are a few fixes for some touch screen monitors. Although I can not guarantee that your product will work with this new version of ZerOS, it is certainly worth trying. We will announce here, and on our Twitter page, when the new version is available to download.
  16. You can create a Cue 0 by selecting 'Stack Setup' in the Cue Stack window, and enabling 'Blank Cue'. Also, if you want to use the command line, use 1 THRU @ . - this will create a blackout in just 4 steps, as 'at fullstop' is a shortcut for @ 0 [enter], and 1 THRU, without stating a top value, will select everything. 'Smart Tag' gives you a similar result to snapshot, however it takes into account something we call 'tracking'. You can turn Smart Tag on using the key on the front panel, and then this option will stay enabled. In the same way to snapshot, it will look at the output of the console, wherever the date is coming from. You can take down the Master fader, which is the first of the two faders that are to the right of the 60 Multi Function Faders. With Smart Tag enabled, this will stop the console recording the previous cue into the new cue. I hope this has helped answer some of your questions, please let me know if you have any more!
  17. Hi Matthew, Is 'Smart Tag' enabled? If so, ensure this is turned off as Smart Tag records the output of the console. You can switch this on / off inside the 'Special' menus. Hopefully this will solve your problem!
  18. Hi LCronin, There are several problems there, each with several possible solutions! My first thought is that however much people are 'afraid' of pressing buttons, buttons will get pressed. If the desk has been used for several years, and has never been fully reset, it could be that several of your problems are simply that over time odd cues / submasters / settings have been deleted / overwritten or modified. I would highly suggest taking a day to fully reset the console, and go back and re-record everything that you want from scratch. This will 'clean up' the console, and you will know exactly what is programmed, and how it has been done. After this, if there are and hardware problems with your console, it will hopefully be a lot easier to find them! It's also worth noting that Mac 500s themselves are quite old, so be aware that there is the possibility that they have a problem too.
  19. Hi, It's not possible to do this on the older range of Frog consoles - the submaster level only controls intensity, with all other attributes automatically triggering at 5%.
  20. Only intensity is controlled by the physical level of the submaster, all other attributes, such as colour, are triggered at 5% and use the fade time programmed.

Can you email me a show file please? Thanks
  22. Hi Andy, A couple customers have found this problem. We are working on a new release of ZerOS, which when it's released should solve this problem. If I can be of any other help, please don't hesitate to contact me. Many Thanks
  23. Hi Kev, I've logged this as issue ZOS-3354. I think this could relate to a couple other issues which we have already fixed and will be released in the next software update, however I have sent the debug to our software team to look through. Cheers
