  1. Hi, If the manufactures give us the RGB values for the colours in their colour wheels, the console automatically groups similar colours together (so all the yellows, all the reds etc etc etc) into single palettes. However, not many manufactures include these details, and so the console makes an individual set of palettes for each lantern. You can also 'switch' fixtures within 'Edit Fixtures' (inside SETUP). Click onto 'patch', select the fixtures on the Multi Function Keys, and then choose 'Change' under the 'Type' column.
  2. Hi James, The following is assuming you are in Tracking mode, and have Smart tag turned off (option available on the Multi Function Keys when you press 'special'). When operating fixtures, as soon as you move one of the parameter wheels that parameter will display 'inverted' on the LCDs above the wheels (the background will turn white and the text blue). All the parameters that are like this (we call it 'tagged') will be programmed into the submaster. So, if you want a submaster to have no control over a moving light at all, you have to ensure the moving light has no parameters tagged. You can either press the 'clear' button to remove all information from the programmer and start again, ensuring you only 'tag' what you want to record, or you can hold down the 'clear' button whilst moving a wheel to untag that specific parameter. Once you have moved a wheel, keep 'clear' held for a second before releasing it. In the same way, if you want a submaster to only affect position, and not colour / focus / gobo etc, ensure only 'Pan' and 'Tilt' are tagged on the wheels. Remember, when you press 'home', all parameters on that fixture get tagged. Hope this makes sense?
  3. Hi, I'm not aware of any good, free visualisers. it might be worth asking on a forum such as The Blue Room Regards,
  4. Hi Nigel, What is the LCD Backlight and Contrast set to in SETUP > Displays Setup Also, if you could email me the serial number, I can let you know if it's still in warranty. Regards,
  5. Hi Dan, There is an access diagram available here: http://zero88.com/support/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/491/30/orb-xf-access-diagram Once you open the console, the flash card is quite obvious - it's on the main PCB which is screwed onto the bottom metal work. If you have any problems, give us a call on 01633 833101 and someone will be happy to help you out.

  7. Hi Dan, There's a possibility that the flash memory card isn't seated correctly in the console, if it's had a bit of a bump or something similar. If you are happy to, it might be worth opening up the console and checking the flash card is pushed into it's reader correctly.
  8. Hi Dan, There is a very long list of future developments for ZerOS. Additional functionality to support fixtures with multiple RGB parametres is one of them. Regards,
  9. Hi, Both of these are included in our new Fixture Library release: http://zero88.com/forum/topic/6370-zero-88-fixture-library-release-24/ Regards,
  10. Hi Danno, Have you saved your show to USB? By doing that, at least you know you won't loose anything! Try going in and out of SETUP, as this forces the console to save onto the flash memory, and then reboot and see if it you loose your show. On boot, do you see any NVR errors listed?
  11. Hi Sam, Here's the fixture profile - it has a slightly strange method of control, so let me know how it works (it's very hard without having it in front of us!). The website, product page and manual all used different names, so I've just called it 'DMX Starcloth'! Regards, LEDJ Starcloth.ift
  12. How have you connected the ORB and your Laptop? If it's with a single cable, are you using a crossover cable?
  13. When you open a Window, you can press 'Special' and then you get 'Select', 'Close', and 'Size' on the MultiFunction Keys. Use 'size' to change the size and location of the window (press it several times and it will cycle through the options).
  14. Have you got the Leap Frog 48 or 96, with USB, or the Leap Frog with Floppy Disk drive? On the Leap Frog 48 & 96, you have to 'catch' the channel by taking the channel's fader to the percentage that it's at, and then you can take the channel to whatever percentage you require. So, If the fader i at 0%, but the channel is actually at 50%, and you want it at 30%m you have to take the fader to 50% or above, and then back down to 30%. If this isn't quite your problem - please email me your show file to the address in my signature below. Hope that helps,
  15. Hi Bob, So in PROGRAM mode, select one of the chase submaster so it's highlighted in yellow, and then press 'edit'. This will output the chase so you can see it on stage. On the multi-function keys and wheels, change the chase settings to the speed you want, and when you are happy press 'edit' again to confirm. Repeat this for the second submaster, with the different speed. Now, in RUN mode, your two submasters will work with different speeds. Hope this helps,

    Chilli HF

We don't have individual channel products unfortunately, so you'll have to use one of the 4 channel HF Chillis

    Chilli HF

Hi, The Chilli HF isn't a conventional dimmer, so this isn't possible. Each channel consist of a relay and a low voltage output that can be globally set as either 0-10v or DSI . Best Regards
  18. The negative number after a timefade is saying that there are no parameters programmed to change during that cue. So if the fade up / down times have negatives after them, it's saying that no intensities have changed since the previous cue. In the same way, if the colour fadetime has a negative, it's saying that no colour parameters have changed. I hope this helps,
