Hi Andy, When programming memories and submasters, it's the level of the CHANNELS you are recording, not the DMX addresses. So by changing the softpatch, the submasters / memories will playback the new addresses. The only way you could do this would be to start pairing channels - so for example, if you have two lanterns that are both doing the same job, and you never have one on without the other, you can put both of them onto one channel, giving you a spare channel. If you can do that three times, you then have room for your LED Par Can. Hope this helps,

Hi Jim, If you select the lights in a 'random' order (4 AND 8 AND 1 AND 3 AND 9 AND 2 AND 7 AND 5 AND 8 AND 6 for example), you can then apply an effect, and then, whilst holding SHIFT, change the effect 'offset' on the wheels. By holding SHIFT, you are 'fanning' the offset across the lights, in the order you select them. Of course, this isn't truly random. At the moment, the only truly random method is, like you say, to make a chase in a cue stack, and set the direct to 'random'. Regards,

In the chase settings, you can change 'drive' to 'bass' - which takes the audio input

Hi Charles, Use the arrow keys to select the 'comments' column of the cue you wish to auto follow, press ENTER and then change the trigger to 'auto'. When you do that, a second textbox will appear for a 'Wait' time if you want to put a delay in this. Regards,

You can load the showfile directly onto the Solution - just move it onto a USB drive and load the show on the Solution in the normal way.

Hi Uli, That will absolutely work, I've used the method myself before now. The only thing to be aware of is that by lifting the 2nd Preset channels, you are putting those channels into the programmer, which can be cleared by a single press of the 'clear' button - so don't do that by accident! Hi John, It's always worth updating to the latest software. There have been a 3.4 and 3.5 but these have been to support small hardware changes in the Jester range, and don't change the functionality of the console.

Glad that fixed the problem. I guess it's no different than having to work out how to get yellow or magenta additively! Just two different colour spaces with some people preferring one and some preferring the other. We have a request on the system for this functionality to change (ZOS-3566) so in a future update, you may find that ZerOS gives you RGB if it's a RGB fixture and CMY if it's a CMY fixture (which makes sense!)

Hi Nick, The console is setup in CMY mode by default. This means that ZerOS is doing the conversion of the RGB fixture into CMY. This is useful when you have some fixtures with CMY colour mixing and some fixtures with RGB colour mixing, as you only have to work in one colour space. With CMY colour mixing, you start at white and filter out light to get the colour you want, meaning that CMY all at full is black. This is called 'subtractive colour mixing'. It's the opposite of RGB, where you start at black and add in light to get the colour you want, meaning that RGB at full is white instead. This is called 'additive colour mixing'. If you hold SETUP and press COLOUR you will get a popup that lets you change 'Colour Edit Mode' to RGB, and the console will work how you were expecting. Hope this helps.

Hi Dan, I can't confirm that the specific monitor is working on ZerOS, but we have built in the drivers for all* the Elo Touch Screen Monitors into ZerOS, so they should do. We've been able to fix this specific problem, however due to some major delays with ZerOS 8 we haven't been able to release the software.
