  1. Hi Adrian, You can't have more than 48 submasters on a single a page, but you could use magicQ to access the other 464 channels on the console (512 minus the 48 channel faders) Best regards,
  2. Hi Distech1231, Where are you saving the files? When you say they aren't showing up, is that on your computer, or on the lighting console? Best regards,
  3. Hi Peter, Unfortunately, the showfile format for the Frog Range wasn't quite so simple and so the format is not something we ever publicly released. One option for you might be to try and find a second hand 'Frog Box'. You could then do the programming on the Frog, save the show and load it onto the 19" Rack Mount Frog Box which sits in your control room (looking at your post on Blue Room it doesn't look like you have enough space for the Frog anyway!). The Frog Box has an Up, Down and GO button on it. There's also a DMX In on the Frog Box, which (from memory) allows you to connect a smaller desk into it (such as a level 6 or juggler), and map the faders to the submasters. I know it's not an ideal option, but I thought I would mention it. If you decided to think abotu this, let me know and I will check about the DMX In functionality
  4. If you go into SETUP (Shift + Mode), and go down to 'Pan/Tilt Options', you have the choice to invert the pan and tilt, which would have had the same effect as re-rigging the fixture. Well spotted! The 'home' position for the shutter was set to closed instead of open. I've attached an updated fixture here - save it to USB, plug the USB into the Jester ML, and then repatch the iMove fixture. Instead of choosing 'Fixture Library', you can choose 'USB' and then choose the fixture from there. Hope this helps,
  5. If you click 'Other Windows', and then choose 'DMX Window', the console shows you what it's physically outputting. Are the channels going between 0 - 255 there, or are they staying at full? If you want to make double sure, take a short DMX cable from Output 1 to the DMX In on the console, and then in the DMX Window, click 'DMX In' - what are the channels doing there? If they are staying at full, we know the issue is with the console, if they aren't then the issue has to be with something after the console (dimmers maybe?)
  6. Hi, Was the output window showing the same thing (all the channels flashing randomly)? Did the lights stop flashing when you turned off the console, or when you turned it back on again? The 50% of lights that were flashing - did they all have something in common (all on a single DMX line, all on a single DMX universe all plugged into the same dimmers etc etc)? Do you have any fixtures, or is it an all generic rig? Are the DMX lines terminated?
  7. You can download PhantomZerOS from this link: http://zero88.com/support/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/366/156/ This still won't allow you to print the submaster data though, it's purely an offline editor, and emulates the lighting console on your PC. It's Windows only, but I use Phantom ZerOS on my Mac through Wine and it works OK
  8. Hi Jaylees, I'm sure there would be a way to do this, but, of course, you would still be limited by the limited functionality of the 8 Pin DIN on the Fat Frog. If you try anything, do let us know how you get on!
  9. Hi Christian, There isn't currently a method, sorry. The CSV functionality is something we are looking to increase in the future, including the addition of patch information, and is logged as ZOS-4773. I've added this thread to the feature request. Best regards,
  10. Hi Adrian, AUX buttons are available on the Jester 12/24 and Jester 24/48, but not on the Jester ML Series. You could create an 'ON' and 'OFF' palette for this, or you could create a submaster. You can download the manual from the link below, and all the information you need on palettes can be found on page 37 onwards. http://zero88.com/products/consoles/jesterml48/
  11. Hi Joe, The Jester ML has support for 30 fixtures via the Multi Function Keys, but no additional dimmers, so we couldn't add syntax entry to access dmx channels onto that console. Best regards,
  12. Hi Johnny, Are you aware that holding down SHIFT + COPY will allow you to transfer states between Memories and Submasters? That's the closest equivalent on the Leap Frog 48. There's no way to transfer a chase across to other channels, but you can create an effect on the Intensity parameter, which can then be applied to any section of channels. You can select the intensity channels by holding down SHIFT whilst pressing the flash buttons of the channel fader.
  13. Hi Jack, We will require a letter on headed paper, including where you bought the console, and the serial number of the console. We will then reply with an unlock code. You can either email this, post it or fax it through to us. If you e-mail my colleague Keith Rogers as this would be the quicker option. His mail address is keith.rogers@cooperindustires.com Best regards,
  14. Hi Lee, You can either upload it directly to this thread, or you can send it to me using http://www.yousendit.com or dropbox. My email is in my signature
  15. Hi Lee, Please can you send us a copy of the showfile so we can look into this further? Many Thanks,
  16. Hi Teis, Is the Pan and Tilt working correctly on the fixture? I've had a quick look through your file, and it all looks fine.
  17. Hi Carwyn, PhantomZerOS, which is our offline editor, can be downloaded here: http://zero88.com/support/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/366/156/ The Windows Remote Monitor, which allows you to view the desktops of a ZerOS console on the same network, is available here: http://zero88.com/support/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/342/0/zeros-remote-software Hope this helps,

    7.6.0

Hi piero, We're a bit confused on this one, your thread says 7.6 but the debug says you are running 7.1 of the ZerOS operating system. This is an issue that was fixed quite a while ago, so please update to 7.6: http://zero88.com/software/zeros Best regards,
  19. Hi All, All the 'behind the scenes' work has been completed on our Community Support Forums - thank you for your patience whilst we've been sorting this out. If there are any questions, or you find any problems, please let us know. Best regards,
  20. Over the next few days, we will be conducting essential maintenance on the Zero 88 Support Forum. We hope this will solve our current CAPTCHA issues for new users, along with many other problems. During this time the forum might not be accessible. If you have any urgent issues, please email support@zero88.com or call us on 01633 838088. Once this maintenance has been completed, certain elements of the forum will be reset, such as the skin we use. Please bear with us while we reinstate all these features back onto the forum, and fit them in with our new website. Many Thanks,
  21. Hi Christian, Yes! We'll be in Hall 11 on Stand D40 and Hall 9 on Stand D51. There will be several of the Zero 88 team there, split across the two stands, so please come and introduce yourself! Best regards,
  22. Hi Oliver, No we don't have any dust covers for the Jester range I'm afraid. Best regards,
  23. We occasionally hear from users who are struggling to upgrade their ZerOS consoles via a USB stick. Bootable USB devices are notoriously difficult to identify - some USB memory sticks are natively bootable, others take a little configuration, whilst some cannot be made to boot. We recommend the use of the Zero 88 branded memory stick which is supplied with the console - this stick has been tested for this purpose and our software is built around these sticks. If you cannot use the branded memory stick, there are a couple of things you can try: In the USB Install Maker, when you're on the Select Device screen, push and hold SHIFT whilst clicking the Next button: The USB install maker will ask you to select OK to confirm you wish to set the Master Boot Record. Note that this can render some USB sticks unusable, so only use this if you have a dedicated stick for software upgrades. Select an MBR Image ( start with A, if that doesn't work, try B ) Push OK and your stick will be formatted - the tool will then prompt you to remove and reinsert the stick. After this, try running through the normal upgrade procedure and the stick should work as expected.
  24. Hi Marc, This problem seems to happen on some PCs, and not on others! I find that closing the small 'control' box first (leaving the monitor and console windows open) generally closes the whole programme much quicker. There is a few seconds delay, as the programme closes down 'safely'.
  25. Hi Marc, Looks like you've found my post explaining 7.6 - but I've included it below for reference. We're still working on ZerOS 8 - but as you can see, there were a lot of bug fixes and we wanted to get them out to you as soon as possible! We included some small but nice new features in there too which will hopefully really speed up programming. As always, if you have any questions please let me know
