  1. We've done a little spring clean of our forum to prepare us for the Summer! Here are the changes: Operator Database has been moved up a level, so is now visible from the main screen. General Chathas been combined into a single forum, instead of split into several categories The old Light Factory link has been removed. For support on Light Factory, please visit their dedicated Yahoo! Group Beta Test forum (only visible to Beta Testers) has been cleaned up with the addition of an Archived Discussions forum for legacy topics. If you have any questions or suggestions, please let us know!
  2. This is how I do it too. An alternative (which gets a bit complicated) is to patch some channels onto a 'spare' universe (Universe 4 for example), and then connect Universe 4 to the DMX In on the back of the console with a small DMX cable. You can then assign that DMX In address to a submaster (Setup > Desk Setup > Inputs). When programming, you can programme that channel into the memory, which will then trigger the submaster when playing back the memory stack. There's no 'proper' way to do it, unlike the ORB.
  3. Hi keredyelesob, I've added a comment to ZOS-3201 that another request has been made for this feature. We're working really hard and fast on Software Updates, but at the moment we are concentrating on speed and stability. To give you an idea, if we combine the fixed issues from 7.6.0 (released in March) and 7.7.0 (very close to being released) there have been almost 300 issues resolved! Best regards,

  5. Hi Mike, Thanks for the info. We have a new build of software that will be going into beta this week, which will probably get that monitor working... would you be interested in becoming a beta tester for us? Best regards,
  6. Hi Dan, Our software engineers have investigated this issue, and have found it to be a duplicate of another issue (ZOS-5260) which we have fixed, and are currently testing. This fix will be included in the next release of ZerOS (ZerOS 7.7). Best regards,
  7. Thanks Dan, Added an issue as ZOS-5428. I'll feedback once our software team have had a chance to look through your debug files. Best regards,
  8. Hi Leighton, There isn't at the moment, but we are discussing a feature like this, and it's listed as issue ZOS-1246 Best regards,
  9. Hi Dan, Please can you email me the showfile? Can you also let me know exactly what I should do to recreate the issue (what did you program into each step of the chase etc etc). I think we have solved this issue already, and we are currently internally testing a new software release, so I will load it onto a console tomorrow to see if I can recreate it. Best regards,
  10. Sorry Dave - here you go iMove 250S.ift
  11. Hi Leighton, Thanks so much for your message, I will ensure it gets passed onto Keith. Glad we were able to answer all your questions! We're only a phone call away if you have any more! Best regards,
  12. Hi Mike, Thanks for that offer - I've added you to the Beta Test group, so an extra forum should appear within "ZerOS Consoles". Best regards,
  13. Hi Fcpa, You can update straight to 7.6. When following the instructions, instead of installing the desk software and then turning off the desk, turning it back on and then installing the Co Processor 1 software, it's probably best to install Co Processor 1 from the main installation screen instead (via the first of the other two buttons that appear during installation). I hope that makes sense!

    'solo'

Hi Piero, Sorry - my mind was in ORB Series mode, not FROG2! There isn't an option to SOLO a submaster on the FROG2. I've added a request for this feature as issue ZOS-5402 Best regards,
  15. Hi Electech, Which version of software are you running? In Submaster Setup, have you activated 'Colour' under 'Submaster Controls...'? Otherwise, Colour will automatically be triggered at the 'Trigger Level' (5% by default) instead of fading in time with the movement of the fader
  16. Hi Bizureus, Please send me the showfile, the debug file, and let us know which memory this is happening on. My email address is jon.hole@cooperindustries.com I'll look into this on Monday. If you just update the palette, and then rerun the memory, does this work? We are aware that if you update a palette, this update doesn't track through into your current memory until you rerun the cue. We are currently testing a fix for this ready to be released in a few weeks. Best regards,

    'solo'

Hi Piero, Hold down 'SETUP' and press the submaster flash button. On software before 7.6, this will only solo the submasters On 7.6, this will also solo other programmed values
  18. Hi bullocmg, Thanks for the suggestion... we are working on something very similar to this. I don't have a time frame yet, and it's not going to make it into 7.7 (which will be released in a few weeks) but we are working on it! Please keep the suggestions coming - all our software updates are done from customer comments and feedback so you really can make a difference!
  19. Hi, How are you trying to download the software? What route are you going through the website? The download is working fine for me from this link: http://zero88.com/support/index.php?/de/Knowledgebase/Article/View/412/202/jester-ml--tl-operating-software---version-33 Best regards,
  20. Hi Adrian, You can't have more than 48 submasters on a single a page, but you could use magicQ to access the other 464 channels on the console (512 minus the 48 channel faders) Best regards,
  21. Hi Distech1231, Where are you saving the files? When you say they aren't showing up, is that on your computer, or on the lighting console? Best regards,
  22. Hi Peter, Unfortunately, the showfile format for the Frog Range wasn't quite so simple and so the format is not something we ever publicly released. One option for you might be to try and find a second hand 'Frog Box'. You could then do the programming on the Frog, save the show and load it onto the 19" Rack Mount Frog Box which sits in your control room (looking at your post on Blue Room it doesn't look like you have enough space for the Frog anyway!). The Frog Box has an Up, Down and GO button on it. There's also a DMX In on the Frog Box, which (from memory) allows you to connect a smaller desk into it (such as a level 6 or juggler), and map the faders to the submasters. I know it's not an ideal option, but I thought I would mention it. If you decided to think abotu this, let me know and I will check about the DMX In functionality
  23. If you go into SETUP (Shift + Mode), and go down to 'Pan/Tilt Options', you have the choice to invert the pan and tilt, which would have had the same effect as re-rigging the fixture. Well spotted! The 'home' position for the shutter was set to closed instead of open. I've attached an updated fixture here - save it to USB, plug the USB into the Jester ML, and then repatch the iMove fixture. Instead of choosing 'Fixture Library', you can choose 'USB' and then choose the fixture from there. Hope this helps,
  24. If you click 'Other Windows', and then choose 'DMX Window', the console shows you what it's physically outputting. Are the channels going between 0 - 255 there, or are they staying at full? If you want to make double sure, take a short DMX cable from Output 1 to the DMX In on the console, and then in the DMX Window, click 'DMX In' - what are the channels doing there? If they are staying at full, we know the issue is with the console, if they aren't then the issue has to be with something after the console (dimmers maybe?)
  25. Hi, Was the output window showing the same thing (all the channels flashing randomly)? Did the lights stop flashing when you turned off the console, or when you turned it back on again? The 50% of lights that were flashing - did they all have something in common (all on a single DMX line, all on a single DMX universe all plugged into the same dimmers etc etc)? Do you have any fixtures, or is it an all generic rig? Are the DMX lines terminated?
