This is something that several customers have tried and succeeded it at. There are a few topics about this already in our forum... here is one: http://zero88.com/forum/topic/6482-fat-frog-fdd-replacement/

Hi, Which Robe ColorSpot do you have? The 250AT and 575AT only have a colour wheel, not colour mixing, which is why the colour picker won't work. The same applies for the palettes that you have - the CMY palettes will only be available to fixtures with CMY or RGB colour mixing. Have you gone into SETUP, clicked "Auto Menus" and "Create Auto Palettes" after patching the spot fixtures? This should create some palettes of the fixed colours on the colour wheel - let me know if it doesn't and I can send you an updated fixture profile.

Looking for help : Servo Spot 600 and Servo Color 770 (Starway)
Jon Hole replied to Texasflood's topic in General Discussion
Hi Texasflood, I'm struggling to find a manual for those fixtures. Please can you post a link to the manual for each of the fixtures, or scan in the pages that describe the DMX personality? Many Thanks- 4 replies

Programming LED batten - demo file wanted.
Jon Hole replied to Simonkbike's topic in Solution & Solution XL
If you address the LED bar to DMX 150, this is what you end up with: 150 - Dimmer / Control 151 - Red 1 152 - Green 1 153 - Blue 1 154 - Red 2 155 - Green 2 156 - Blue 2 157 - Red 3 158 - Green 3 159 - Blue 3 160 - Red 4 161 - Green 4 162 - Blue 4 So, instead of patching it onto the console as a single device, you can trick the console into thinking it's five separate devices (as I have split them up above) by patching a dimmer channel on DMX 150, and then four LED Dimmers addressed to 151, 154, 157 and 160. For the dimmer channel, you can either take up one of the main console faders if you have one spare, or you can patch it as another fixture on the Multi Functional Keys. Once you've patched everything, go into SETUP, press "Auto Menus" and select "Create Auto Palettes". This will create a load of premade effect palettes for you. -
How would you like this to be merged with the DMX being processed by the console?

As we move into 2015, we've restructured the Zero 88 Community Support Forum to make it easier to use, and quicker to find the correct category for new topics. Below is a list of the updates we've made. Network & Data Distribution". New category called "Product Support - Software" has been created. “Software Releases” has been renamed to “ZerOS Software Releases”, and has been moved to the forum homepage, under "Product Support - Software". “Phantom & Remote” has been renamed to “ZerOS Applications” and has been moved to the forum homepage, under "Product Support - Software". "Fixture Library & Fixture Editor" has been moved to the forum homepage, under "Product Support - Software". "Phantom Jester" has been moved to the forum homepage, under "Product Support - Software". “Beta Test” has been renamed to “Software Testing and Beta Releases”, and has been moved to the forum homepage, under "Product Support - Software". (Please note - this is a hidden forum only available to those involved in software development and testing). "FROG 2" and "Leap Frog 48 & 96" have been moved to “Discontinued Products”. Various forum descriptions have been rewritten for clarity. If you have any questions, please post them below.

You can on Jester ML and TL, but not on the standard Jester software
-
It can have upto 30 fixtures and 200 dimmers, all patched across 512 DMX channels

Hi all, There is a conversation in the Beta Software forum about how we move forward with this. I'd like to keep that conversation going over there for those involved in development and testing (which ziglight and keredyelesob both are). However, just to sum up this conversation - this will be returning to how it used to be (so Colour Palettes only contain colour parameters etc) but we are looking into a way that brings the additional functionality in a much simpler, quicker and more flexibly way. I'm going to close this topic for now. Feel free to open up a new topic for any new feature requests or ideas.

Hi barefootcoder, This shouldn't be too hard - go into "program mode", select a memory (using the up and down arrows), move the faders to the intensities you want, and press the "program" button (the glowing one!). Now move the faders so you have a different lighting state, and press the "program" button again. Now, go into "run mode", make sure the "Memory Master" fader is pushed up, and press the glowing button (which should now be green, and act as a GO button) to switch between the two memories. Hopefully this helps?

It's taking slightly longer than we hoped, but it's coming: You should be able to just click the "Desktop 1" button on the bottom left corner of the screen, and then choose another Desktop. The "Programming" desktop is the one you are looking for I think.

When you go into Super User mode (hold SHIFT + MODE together), the main LCD will show you the Serial Number, the Software Version and either "r1" or "r2". This is the hardware revision. If it says r2, an external keyboard should work fine for labelling. If it says r1, it probably won't.

Wikipedia has some information about MIDI Show Control, and there's a link to a slightly old (but still mostly valid) version of the full specification in the "external links" section at the bottom of the page: http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/MIDI_Show_Control

WYSIWYG can now accept Art-Net input, and has done for quite awhile, so this is how we suggest ZerOS users connect to WYSIWYG - it's much easier than using the old "plugin". Just choose "Artistic Licence - Art-Net" in the "Select Console" window.

There is - when you right click a fader, it will go yellow. Do this to several faders, and then just click and drag one of them - they will all move. Hope this helps
-
Yes, you can do that without a problem. Anything the sort of strength of a fridge magnet and below will be absolutely fine.
-
Done, they'll be included in the next release :-)
-
Thanks for that! I've added the other modes, and made a few little changes, so it's consistent with other fixtures in our library, and attached them all in this file. LEDJ_Intense_9P10.ift They'll also be included in the next fixture release. Thanks again Jon

Hi Carwyn, I'm slightly confused by what you mean, sorry. Can you go into some more detail, take a photo of the ouput screen where they are visible, or better still include your showfile please? Jon
