  1. As we move into 2015, we've restructured the Zero 88 Community Support Forum to make it easier to use, and quicker to find the correct category for new topics. Below is a list of the updates we've made. Network & Data Distribution". New category called "Product Support - Software" has been created. “Software Releases” has been renamed to “ZerOS Software Releases”, and has been moved to the forum homepage, under "Product Support - Software". “Phantom & Remote” has been renamed to “ZerOS Applications” and has been moved to the forum homepage, under "Product Support - Software". "Fixture Library & Fixture Editor" has been moved to the forum homepage, under "Product Support - Software". "Phantom Jester" has been moved to the forum homepage, under "Product Support - Software". “Beta Test” has been renamed to “Software Testing and Beta Releases”, and has been moved to the forum homepage, under "Product Support - Software". (Please note - this is a hidden forum only available to those involved in software development and testing). "FROG 2" and "Leap Frog 48 & 96" have been moved to “Discontinued Products”. Various forum descriptions have been rewritten for clarity. If you have any questions, please post them below.
  2. You can on Jester ML and TL, but not on the standard Jester software

  4. Hi all, There is a conversation in the Beta Software forum about how we move forward with this. I'd like to keep that conversation going over there for those involved in development and testing (which ziglight and keredyelesob both are). However, just to sum up this conversation - this will be returning to how it used to be (so Colour Palettes only contain colour parameters etc) but we are looking into a way that brings the additional functionality in a much simpler, quicker and more flexibly way. I'm going to close this topic for now. Feel free to open up a new topic for any new feature requests or ideas.
  5. Hi barefootcoder, This shouldn't be too hard - go into "program mode", select a memory (using the up and down arrows), move the faders to the intensities you want, and press the "program" button (the glowing one!). Now move the faders so you have a different lighting state, and press the "program" button again. Now, go into "run mode", make sure the "Memory Master" fader is pushed up, and press the glowing button (which should now be green, and act as a GO button) to switch between the two memories. Hopefully this helps?
  6. Hi keredyelesob, We've been investigating this, and found the problem. Added as ZOS-5897, this affects Solution / LeapFrog 48 & 96 consoles only.
  7. It's taking slightly longer than we hoped, but it's coming: You should be able to just click the "Desktop 1" button on the bottom left corner of the screen, and then choose another Desktop. The "Programming" desktop is the one you are looking for I think.
  8. When you go into Super User mode (hold SHIFT + MODE together), the main LCD will show you the Serial Number, the Software Version and either "r1" or "r2". This is the hardware revision. If it says r2, an external keyboard should work fine for labelling. If it says r1, it probably won't.
  9. Wikipedia has some information about MIDI Show Control, and there's a link to a slightly old (but still mostly valid) version of the full specification in the "external links" section at the bottom of the page: http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/MIDI_Show_Control
  10. WYSIWYG can now accept Art-Net input, and has done for quite awhile, so this is how we suggest ZerOS users connect to WYSIWYG - it's much easier than using the old "plugin". Just choose "Artistic Licence - Art-Net" in the "Select Console" window.
  11. There is - when you right click a fader, it will go yellow. Do this to several faders, and then just click and drag one of them - they will all move. Hope this helps
  12. Yes, you can do that without a problem. Anything the sort of strength of a fridge magnet and below will be absolutely fine.
  13. Done, they'll be included in the next release :-)
  14. Thanks for that! I've added the other modes, and made a few little changes, so it's consistent with other fixtures in our library, and attached them all in this file. LEDJ_Intense_9P10.ift They'll also be included in the next fixture release. Thanks again Jon
  15. Hi Carwyn, I'm slightly confused by what you mean, sorry. Can you go into some more detail, take a photo of the ouput screen where they are visible, or better still include your showfile please? Jon
  16. Hi romalaw, Are you using an external monitor? It's a lot easier to understand the point cues if you are. On the built in LCD, you only see the current cue, so have to then use the up/down arrows to go and see the cues you've inserted
  17. Hi Max, Thanks for your comment. I've added this to issue ZOS-848, which is regarding adding support in Auto Palettes and the Colour Picker for additional colours other than just RGB and CMY

  22. Zero 88 Fixture Library Release 28 For full information, please visit: http://zero88.com/software/library This release contains 4055 fixtures from 225 different manufacturers. For a list of fixtures in the library please click here. The library is released in 2 formats: a full unfiltered version for desks running ZerOS software (ORB Series, Solution series, Frog 2 and Leap Frog 48 & 96). a smaller filtered version for other Zero 88 desks. This removes data that is not used by these other desks, so that the file is smaller. When using a floppy disk (original Frog series, Illusion500) it is recommended that the floppy disk be freshly formatted before using it. Download & Installation The correct format of the library for your desk can be downloaded by clicking the product name below. The library (.ift file) should be placed in the root directory of the floppy disk or USB stick. ZerOS desks (ORB Series, Solution series, Frog 2 and Leap Frog 48 & 96) The latest fixture library is automatically installed on the desk as part of each operating software update, however this can be updated from USB if required in Setup -> Files -> Update Fixture File. JesterML & JesterTL The fixture library is installed on the desk at manufacture, however this can be updated from USB if required in Setup -> Update Fixture Lib -> Update Library. Frog Series and Illusion 500 Use 'Common Fixture Manager' (included in the Fixture Tools download) to select the fixtures you wish to use, and save this as a file to a floppy disk. Diablo The fixture library is used with the Diablo Fixture Manager PC software. Sirius 250/500 Use the Fixture Type Editor to import fixture types from the fixture library, and then use the ‘Export Sirius UFT’ function (under the ‘File’ menu) to generate data in the correct format for the Sirius 250/500. Further details of assigning fixtures on the desk to fixture types in the fixture library can be found in each desk’s operating manual. Additional Fixtures If you need a fixture type which is not in the library, then you can create this yourself using the Fixture Type Editor. If you post a link to the manufacturers datasheet on the forum, we will endeavour to add the fixture in the next library release.
  23. Hi JB97, I'd suggest you strongly recommend the school update their Jester console. It only takes 5 minutes, and is completely free of charge. Show files are "forward compatible", so their current show files will work fine. However, if they are unwilling to do this, drop me an email (address in signature below) and I'll dig out an old version of Phantom for you.
  24. Hi jsrjennings, We do not discuss hidden features such as this, sorry.
  25. Hi, Glad you're getting on well with the ORB! Here's the fixture file for the Elation DW Fresnel Elation.ift If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask! Best regards Jon
