  1. Hi Marsie, Yes - these were launched back in January: ZerOS Monitor (Android): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.eaton.ZerOSMonitor.Rigger ZerOS Remote (Android): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.eaton.ZerOSRemote.Rigger All the best, Jon

    Phantom ZerOS

On the front panel there is a "setup" button (alternatively, pressing SHIFT and F10 together will take you into setup)
  3. We've had people saying similar before, and it's been related to the "Preset Control" button (it being pressed accidently etc), and the console storing presets and then the A/B faders meaning that certain presets don't work. Have you checked this?
  4. That's correct, yes :-)
  5. Hi, Please try this version of the fixture. The channels need to start at "1" upwards. You then set the "DMX Start Address" on the Jester. So if you set the DMX Start Address as "201", then the channels will be associated to DMX Addresses 201 upwards. Hope this makes sense, Jon Involight LED MH 140S.ift
  6. We're working on it!
  7. Hi Fireball40k, What version of software are you running? Shifted mode fans whatever is on the wheel. By default, this is "fan first". You can change this by holding SETUP and pressing EFFECT together (or any of the other attribute buttons - COLOUR, BEAM and POSITION). A window will open, which allows you to change the "shifted mode". Fan First First fixture doesn't change, the last fixture changes as you'd expect, everything else fans in between Fan Last Opposite of above, first fixture moves as you'd expect, last fixture doesn't change, everything else fans in between Fan Middle Middle fixture doesn't change, first fixture moves as you'd expect, last fixture moves in the opposite direction Fan V Middle fixture doesn't move, first and last fixture moves as you'd expect, everything else fans in between So, if you have a line of moving lights on a truss, and select "vertical line", they'll all start a tilt effect, all doing the same thing at the same time. You can then "fan" the offset, so they're all at different parts of the movement. Using "fan v" would mean the middle one flies out into the audience, then the ones either side of it, then the ones either side of those, and so on and so on until the first and last fixture on the truss. Alternatively, you could use something like "blue step on" which makes all the fixtures blue, and then flashes them to white. If you use "fan first", you can offset this so the white flash flies across the line of fixtures one by one rather than all at the same time. Remember, the "first", "last", "middle" fixtures are related to the order you've selected the fixtures, not their fixture numbers. Currently, the speed, size, offset and rotation affect all the currently running effects on the selected fixtures. This means you need to create your position effect, record it as a palette, create your colour effect, record it as a palette, and then select both those palettes to run them at the same time. However, in the next release of software, you can alter the size, speed, offset and rotation of each effect individually when you have multiple running at the same time on the same fixture.
  8. Hi James, You're going to have a few issues here. 1) Phantom ZerOS is currently only designed on run on Windows. I've had varying success using WineBottler to run Phantom ZerOS on my mac, but it's 3rd party software - so you run that at your own risk. 2) Phantom ZerOS doesn't output Art-Net natively (otherwise we wouldn't sell any consoles!). You need to purchase an unlock dongle, which plugs into USB. I've never tested this with WineBottler on Mac, but I'm pretty confident that it wouldn't work. Sorry! Jon

    Roman Numerals

Maybe we need to make our April Fools more obvious in the future, this one seems to have fooled quite a few people! Anyone remember Spirit Level we released back in 2005?
  10. ZerOS 7.7 is pretty old - have you tried installing 7.8.2.36?
  11. Thanks guys, all makes sense. Added extra comments to: ZOS-6505 Lock console not locking everything ZOS-1246 Lock Functions - Lock Edit
  12. Hi Stefan, Your account appears to already be unlocked for Beta Testing - on our forum homepage you should see a "Software Testing and Beta Releases" forum.
  13. Hiya, Not a bug, but definitely something we could improve in the future! I've added this as a comment to ZOS-6105 which relates to integrating triggered Playbacks with the Playback which triggered them.
  14. Also... Which "wrong software"???
  15. (added the Iiyama Prolite TF2234MC to the list above which has also now been tested in the beta software)
  16. (added the Iiyama Prolite T1931SR screen to the list above which has also now been tested in the beta software)
  17. What software is this running? And is this a Solution of a Leap Frog? (It's in the Solution forum, but you called it a Frog, so need to check!)
  18. Hi Simon, We've been putting quite a bit of work into the new software to get additional touch screens working. Once we do that, we'll release a new list. I know at a minimum that the following displays will work on the next software release, as we've been testing them this past week: Iiyama Prolite T1531SR Iiyama Prolite T1731SR Iiyama Prolite T1931SR Iiyama Prolite T2252MTS Iiyama Prolite T2236MSC Iiyama Prolite TF2234MC Viewsonic TD2220-2
  19. Hi Matt, You need to tell Phantom Jester where the file is stored (as Jester Software doesn't deal with directories/folders). In the small Phantom Jester window, click "Settings" and then choose "Browse" under "Local Drive". Choose the location of the ift files (I usually point it to my desktop or the USB drive). Now, you can load the ift files into Phantom in the same way you'd do it on a real console. Jon
  20. In the fixture library, you will see a "special" drop down, allowing you to select a predefined parameter. If you choose "pan" and "tilt" for the pan and tilt channels, this will link the parameters to the effect movements on the Mambo Frog
  21. Hi Roberto, Yes - this fixture doesn't have a dedicated dimmer channel, which makes things hard! You're right that the Virtual Dimmer channel needs to control the shutter value, not the CMY. You then need to change the default of the shutter channel to "86" - which is the dimmer at full. This will work most of the time, just because if you try and fade in / fade out whilst strobing - because what will actually happen is you'll fade through all the different strobe settings / speeds which will look nasty. Unfortunately, it's a limitation of these fixtures which don't provide a dedicated dimmer. Jon
  22. You need to release the playback before the new function will apply. If you press SHIFT and RELEASE together, this will release everything (causing a blackout) and then you can use the new Fader Function (there are a lot of ways to release individual playbacks - that's just the easiest!). I'd use Highlight to do this, other people would use RemDim. Highlight takes the intensity of the selected fixture to full, and Colour / Beam parameters to home (Position parameters don't get affected). So select channel 1 (1 ENTER) and then turn on Highlight (SHIFT + HOME together). Now you can use the NEXT and PREVIOUS keys (which appear on the 5 keys with LCDs above the main numberpad) to go to the next channel. RemDim takes the selected fixture to full (or leaves it at it's current intensity if it's already on), and turns everything else off. RemDim is accessed by pressing SHIFT + FULL together. Both of these functions can be assigned to the "blank button" (top left of the number pad), so you don't need to remember the shortcuts. Just hold down SETUP and press the blank button, and then choose RemDim or Highlight from the options.

    Save Issue

Sounds like it's potentially the same issue. When you look at the USB stick "normally" on your laptop using Windows File Explorer, do you see all the files?

    Save Issue

Did you save it as a different name? If so, it might be this issue: http://zero88.com/forum/topic/7127-phantom-jester-41-saved-shows/
  25. I've added a comment to a previous issue, ZOS-5580, which discusses the ability to give each fixture a different flash button action. I think this needs more than just displaying which fixture is first, as the fixtures could be selected in a completely random order. The flashing LED provides quite a lot of confusion to customers, which results in support calls and questions. Yep, we're looking at showing both the "highest" and "lowest" value. For example, it might look like 5 > 20 if you "fan first", 5 < 20 if you fan last, and 5 <> 20 if you "fan middle". I've recorded an additional request for this on ZOS-1724 This could start getting very confusing, very quickly! Added ZOS-7131 This will get implemented on Solution in a future update as we merge FLX features and methodology with Solution features and methodology. In ZerOS 7.9, if you have nothing selected, pressing a palette will select all the fixtures programmed into that palette. Pressing it a second time will then activate that palette in the normal way. This means you'll be able to just press "Clear" once and then double tap the palette to get the result you need. Added an extra request for this feature to ZOS-3849 This should be solved when we switch over to playbacks in ZerOS 7.9 This is done via the Effects Window (which will be becoming a tab shortly). Created an issue to be able to switch to this tab without an external monitor: ZOS-7132 This is available on ORB XF, but not on Solution, as it can become confusing very quickly to ensure you only record what you want to record into a palette. One option being discussed is a new set of "Looks" - that would be just like palettes, but could contain any information from any attribute, which would solve the problem you're discussing. In ZerOS 7.9 you'll be able to use a playback as an Inhibit, which would allow you to keep the channels up in the programmer (maybe even default them to full) and then use the inhibitor to limit the output.
