  1. Hi jonnip, If you send us what you've done, we can take a look and let you know where you've gone wrong - so you know for next time.
  2. Hi Joe, I've just added you to Test Flight, to try the new app. Apple should email you with instructions on how to do this. Please give it a go and let me know your feedback. All the best, Jon
  3. Hi Gio, Currently this isn't possible on FLX, but it's on our radar. No timeframe currently though. Jon
  4. Yes, you're correct. Glad it's working - thanks Kevin!
  5. Hi Sven, If you press SHIFT + a UDK together, the MFF window will open. We'll get the Fader Function button working again for the next release (reference ZOS-7427) Jon
  6. As part of our aim to improve fixture support across the Zero 88 range, there's a new, single way of requesting fixture profiles from Eaton. However, first, please ensure we don't already support the fixture you require: Please ensure you've updated to the latest fixture library, which can be downloaded from this link: http://zero88.com/software/library A full list of the currently supported fixtures can be found here: http://zero88.com/support/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/581/ The Zero 88 Fixture Tools also allow you to create a custom profile yourself, and load it into your console: http://zero88.com/support/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/49/ If the above options are not suitable, a new email address has been setup for requesting profiles: FixtureSupport@Zero88.com Please ensure you supply full details of the fixture (Make, Model, Mode etc) and a download link to the Operating Manual.

    FLX User Manual

That's true, sorry. I've added a link to the manual in the software release post I made on Friday: zero88.com/forum/topic/7781-zeros-791-flx-released/

    FLX User Manual

We released ZerOS 7.9.1 on the website on Friday, along with the manual. However, we're trying to stagger the downloads - so we'll do some posts about it this week
  9. Ah ok, on the current effects engine, as you play around with individual parameters, changing the size and the speed, they can become out of sync with each other. To solve this, either record it somewhere and play it back, or enter and exit blind mode, which re-syncs everything
  10. Hi Jan, I've been partly waiting to see if other people will reply to this (sadly they haven't) and partly waiting until I had enough time to look into this in more detail. I 100% agree with everything you say. However, we've got a vision to take this much further, implementing something that covers everything you mention above but makes it even easier, simpler and more visual. I'll try and get some mockups over the next few weeks, but before that, I'd be interested to see what others (and yourself) would suggest if we scrapped the effects engine completely and started again!
  11. Hi Joe, which console are you using, and which version of ZerOS software is running on it?
  12. Weird... should be fine. Can you drop us a show file please Kevin?
  13. Yep, it is. Phantom ZerOS allows you to pick any of the IP addresses your computer has assigned (wired, wireless etc). If you want to change one of the IPs, you need to change it on the computer itself, rather than through Phantom ZerOS. However, I think you're running Phantom ZerOS on a Mac through WINE... in which case, I'm not so sure if it'll work or not.
  14. Zero 88 are pleased to announce the launch of ZerOS version 7.9.1 software - a new software release for FLX consoles. This update is recommended for all users. More information can be found at http://zero88.com/software/zeros A full list of changes are available in the Release notes. The latest version of the FLX User Manual can be downloaded from the website: zero88.com/products/consoles/flx If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us at the office. Out contact details are: email: support@zero88.com phone: 01633 838088 Best Regards,
  15. The current plan is the first release, but sometimes we decide to split features out so we can do more regular releases. For example, instead of waiting 12 months for 4 features, it would mean you're only waiting 12 months for one of the features as the others have already been released (although usually that means we get complaints that the last three features are late, rather than the truth which is that the first three features are early!)
  16. You're not part of the Beta Test group. If you drop me an email (address in signature below) I'll email a copy across to you.
  17. On our next software release, which is currently in Beta, it's possible to put "Global Tap Tempo" onto any of the Playbacks (Playbacks is the new name for "submasters")
  18. Our aim is slightly different - we want to reduce our reliance on OS software completely, so it doesn't matter if you are using Windows, Mac OS, Linux, Chrome OS, iOS, Android etc. We can't do this 100%, but there are things we're doing: - New ZerOS software installations only need to be downloaded, unzipped and saved onto a USB stick. This can be done on any operating system, with or without admin rights, etc - We're aiming towards dramatically increase our fixture library (over 4 times more comprehensive) to reduce how often you need to build profiles. Then, if you do, we'll provide a way of building fixture profiles directly on the console, opposed to via separate software, removing the above issue
  19. Hi Matt, Sounds like an old bug - update the desk software and the problem should go away.

    Chases on faders

The 3 seconds fade is coming from the fade time of the cue you're triggering when you raise the fader. I would assume "colour" is set to 3 seconds (as this is a colour effect, it will use that fade time). If you go into the Playback settings (SETUP + the playback flash button) you can select "Fader Controls... Effects" - now as you raise the fader the size and speed of the effect will increase, and when you lower the fader the size and speed of the effect will decrease.
  21. Yeah, Jester hardware isn't a particular fan of "large" memory sticks, so I'd give it a go with a smaller one if you can.

    Chases

Hi SimonH, Can you email me the showfile and I'll take a look and get it working for you. Jon
  23. We found a strange bug that only affects some consoles, where the FLX touch screen stops working when this software is installed. We're working through that issue before re-releasing the software.
  24. Yep - we're working on this, along with a couple other bugs in the Apps :-)
  25. Here you go! JB Lighting Vary Scan P7.ift
