Hello everyone, Is it possible to mix effects? So I want the following: 1. submaster with an effect for pan (left to right) 2. submaster with an effect for tilt (up and down). Now I want to mix them, to create circles or ovals. The problem is when I open effect 1, and then effect 2, effect 1 is stopped again! Can somebody help me? Maybe there is a possibility for a new feature? Thanks in forward. (Sorry for my english, I'm dutch)

Hello, For school I have worked with a Pearl once, but I still think a Leap Frog is easier for me to work with. But there were some functions that are very nice. Maybe something thats interesting for the Leap Frog. Like the function that you can enter a number, and press a position button. Then it goes to that position in the time you entered. So when you enter 5 and then press a position, your lights will fade to that position in 5 secs. Maybe it can be an option for next version of console, it's just a pity that the leap frog doesn't have number keys

Hello everyone, Is there a way to make presets, like on a pearl? On a pearl you can program a Position, color and gobo (for example) on one button. When you press it the beam will change in that color, go to that position and that gobo will be enabled. Is there a way to do this on a Leap Frog? I have to do a show on 31st of december, and I would like to know if there's a solution to this. I can also program submasters, but then I have to make an awful lot of them, and switch pages continuously. Thanks in Forward. Maybe it's possible to add the functionality to lock or disable programming in the console? So nothing is tagged and so, but you can still use preset faders and the MFK's (and wheels). I would like to point back to this topic, with a problem around submasters and programming. I think this feature is a good solution to this... It is HERE

My desk is already in HTP mode, it helps for my preset faders, but not for my fixtures under the MFK's... Maybe an idea for suggest a feature?? --> disable or lock programming (?)

Hello Everybody, I've got an issue with my submasters and with my clear button. I do the following. I have programmed a submaster with the intensity to FF for all my intelligent lights. (4 washes and 2 heads). When I open this submaster my lights go on or off.. That's what I want. But if i only want to control the intensity of 2 of the fixtures, I press fixtures, choose the right ones using my MFK's, and roll the intensity wheel. The problem is: My submaster with the intensity isn't working anymore. The problem gets fixed by pressing the clear button, but when I do that -> all my lights go off. Is there another way to solve this? Without using the clear button? Thanks in Forward

Hi there, First of all... a very good, easy to understand console. I've done a show with it, about 2 hours after i saw it first! Nice work... I've got some features that I would like to see in the next software release... hope you like them too. - For RGB and CMY color mixing fixtures, maybe it's possible to add something like a color palette where you can pick a color. Like your color window in microsoft paint - Why not an option to change flash button mode per flash button? So when you set flash button mode to latch or something, you can apply this to any fader you want, and not to all or none... - Submaster duplicates. So you can set some submasters to appear on more pages, like page 1 and 3. And when you change the submaster on page 1, page 3 is updated too... I would like this functionality because you have very few submasters (10) on the 48 version of the console... and you can access an important submaster on several pages... Can I also do this without changing the flash button mode? And still that isn't quite what I mean... To say it as simple as possible.. Why isn't it possible to patch 1 DMX channel to 2 Faders? Thanks

That's exactely what we've tried a few times, and we also thought it had to work... I can try again, a few times this evening, but i'm afraid it's not going to work... Thanks, and if its still wrong after I checked it this evening i will post another message...

Thank's for your reply, but this isn't really what I want... I just want my washes (GLP YPOC 575 Color) (4 of them) on my MFK's, so I have my color, beamshape, everything... and my intensity also just on the wheels... but my intensity channel also on a fader (in this case i want intensity of wash 1 on fader 21, wash 2 on 22, 3 on 23 and 4 on 24)... So just everything normal... and my intensity also on a fader. And what i mean, is 1 dmx output controllable on 2 or more faders... with the duplicates you can add more dmx outputs to 1 fader... when I try to put the intensity channel (for example) on a normal fader, it says "This channel is in use by another fixture. Unpatch the other fixture?" when I press "No" It cancels it's operation... if you know what I mean... Thanks in forward (Sorry for my english... i'm dutch )

I thought I had tried exactely this, but I can try again tomorrow... My real problem is... when I try to play an effect with my washes, can I switch color on stage, without changing the Washes' effect or position? In our situation it was possible to switch on an effect after I moved my Submaster up... but when i do it otherwise it won't... (So i mean i can't enable an effect, and move my color submaster without changing the position or effect...). So this is what i DO want... I've got an quite unpredictable show.... so no playlist or something. I've Programmed Position's and effects (movements) under my MFK's I put my intensity to 100 using the wheel I enable one of the positions or effects If i want another color of light on my stage, I want to slide up a submaster so my washes get a good color, and my parcans with the same colorfilters are on, as well as my led tubes Is this clear?? Why isn't it possible to patch 1 DMX channel on 2 faders or something? I'd like to patch my washes' Intensity channel on both the wheels AND on 1 fader... and also other things aren't possible.. I can't make a group of 8 parcans on 1 fader, and another group on another fader using some of the same DMX channels. (Something I Don't want to spent my submasters on...) (Sorry for my english )

Hello everyone... I've got an issue with a Leap Frog 48... I'm making a (relatively) small show, and searched te manual for this problem but i didn't find an answer. The problem is that I want to record a submaster containing a color. In my lights I have some parcans, and the ones with the red filters should be on... That's okay and it's working. But when I try to program my GLP YPOC 575 Color in a way, that ONLY THE COLOUR changes... it won't work allright.. Because: - When I'm using an effect (Like "move in Cirkles" or "squares"..), and I slide up the submaster, the wash gets the right color.. but stops his effect... I have checked many times what was tagged while recording my submaster, and I had smart tagging disabled... only the color channels where tagged... but it isn't doing what it has to... What I do... I open up the program window, and the submasters window. I Set up the right scene for my parcans, with the right colors. I go to the fixtures page in the MFK's, and I choose my fixtures (4x a GLP YPOC 575 COLOR) Then I go to the Color page in the MFK's and I choose my color (Preprogrammed in the MFK's) I press record, and the submaster is recorded. When I want to check if it's allright: I fade off my parcans I put the Wash on white i let the washlight make an effect (circles) and i slide up the submaster which i just programmed.... What i NOT want is that i just choose the colors for the washes in the MFK's, and do the parcans in the submasters, I want them to change at once....
