  1. Thanks chaps, that's very reassuring. I'll put my vote in now then, the single most useful thing would be the split screen, ie. in the blank bottom half of the screen of the submasters and memory screen, to have the outputs echoed in there. Cheers!
  2. The lanterns are all generic, source fours, selecon, tatty old battens etc etc. I believe the issue IS the DMX demux, but this cannot change its dimmer curves, nor can the dimmers themselves. The dimmers are 15-18 years old and the company that made them is no more! So, I guess I am stuck with the fade characteristics I have got. Oh well, I won't worry about something I can't change!
  3. Love the new Frog2, seems to yet again plug a gap in the market and will no doubt be a great success! However, my Fat Frog was purchased in June this year, days before the announcement that a Frog 2 was coming. I am blown away by the speed you guys have got this up and running. My big concern is what is going to happen to Frog updates and revisions? I am eagerly awaiting software updates like split screen displays, numeric entry (channel x @ level y), and all the other updates on your list. I realise focus will be on the new desk, so realistically chaps, are we going to see any further software updates?
  4. All, Perhaps this isn't a Frog issue, but I have noticed that the lanterns don't fully follow the sliders on the Frog. Ie, they come on suddenly when the slider is pushed on past 45%. The DMX is terminated in a Strand S72 demultiplexer, and I wondered if this is to do with dimmer 'laws'. I notice the Zero 88 demux has laws and the Strand doesn't seem to. What do you reckon?
  5. I must admit, I have been puzzled by this, and so far I have not used memories, just submasters because of this! One thing which would be a great help, can you draw a diagram / graph of how a memory fades into the next one and which fade up / down is associated with which memory? I am very visual, I have read the manual many times on this point, and it is no clearer. Thanks!
  6. All, Even though it was a brand new keyboard, it was faulty. When I tried another keyboard, it was fine. Thanks for your help. Cheers
  7. What about a set of labels / stickers to label up a standard keyboard to aid navigation?
  8. No the keyboard leds do not toggle on or off, I wasn't sure that they should, so I'll have to try another keyboard to prove the problem. Cheers
  9. All, I have plugged in a new keyboard to my new fat frog, but I get no response from it, pressing F2 to name an item brings up the small display on the board itself, and I can name from the cursor keys on the frog, but not the keyboard. Any ideas? Ian
