  1. Nice Idea Laubfrosch  My suggestion for this particular problem is modify the Fixture via the Fixture Type Editor set shutter home value to 0 when chase/ movements are runing press home and voilá it stops it all immediately. adventagous you can start other chasers with new beamshape options colour movement etc. by raising another submaster.

    Scrollers!!

Hi GLX, just a suggestion: create a N-Shot chase step1 changing color; step2 rise lamp level. 1 Shot transfer to submaster.
  3. Hi jberry, can you describe your problem further. A frog can run and store perfect chaser memories. regards
  4. Hi Chris, don´t let K-Nine know that you can't make sense out of his handwritten manual :-) pay attention to the notes, they are full of useful informations If you already programmed a memory it is very easy to transfer it to a submaster. Select your memory in memories screen i.E. Mem 10 then push and hold the transfer to submaster button then the submaster flashbutton you want to transfer it to. There is another button [transfer with time] the effect is that fadetimes set up in the memory will transferred to the submaster too. Hope this helps.
  5. Hi, hopefully a scene and and a memory is to be understood as the same thing.
  6. Some useful hints can be found here: http://www.chrickel.de/
  7. Hi Chris, you have to store a chase as a scene. There is no other way to get a chase. more informations can be found in the manual refer to chapter 4-8 programming a chase regards
  8. Hi nighteyes, Submaster naming is implemented since last updates. Press F2 in submasterscreen and then the submaster to name.
  9. *lol* This animals are really cute - I didn´t realize this before but they are.
  10. You know you are a frog addict when your girlfriend thinks, frog is codename for another women 8O
  11. I would do like sp sugested it. nobody in venue will get this clue.
  12. Hi Minimac: the first thing to think about is setting the desk in "partial" mode. while programming submasters your Fixtures have to be detagged: The picture shows a staying yellow LED
  13. @daoops: Is it possible that your playback master was set to full while programming the subs ?, but normally it wouldnt record the fixture data when they wasn´t tagged.
  14. Here are is my DMX Tester works very fine ...
  15. you are frog addict when surfing support.zero88.com for hours daily
  16. ThankÂs Daoops for tutoring me ohmic laws ... DMX - is a inverted signal of DMX + so in the cable accures due to capacitance a pulse. 110Ω Cables are used to minimize the possibilities to get a own-pulsing cable. To match european laws driver chips have to be 15kV electrostatic discharge save. Some of the fixtures driverchips such as LTC485 doesn´t have this protection.
  17. we use microphone cables in live situations for DMX since 10 years and it works stable. Our DMX system (22 devices) hasn´t such problems with the DMX wiring. How do I damage my scanners and movinghead´s with a wrong DMX signal of max. current DC5V ?
  18. as I´m a yellow billed stork both of this options are very useful... A option to cancel those silliy question "Sure to overwrite" on palettes and another one to delete the position palettes seperate.
  19. Hi, Cat5/7 shielded twisted pair cables are suited for installation purposes. For example: SFTP4x2xAWG24 Other AES/EBU 110Ω cables are better for "live" situations as they are "flexible" We use normal microphone cables for DMX connections as we don´t want to build up a seperate DMX cable park works fine too. This option dosn´t match the USITT1990 nor DIN5693
  20. To connect some DMX devices it´s useful to have some adapters. 5pin male XLR to 3pin female XLR 3pin male XLR to 5pin female XLR they are available at your wholesalers, or you solder your own: take some digital cable (110 ohms),NCMX5, NCMF3 or NCMX3, NCFX5 configuration of full patched USITT1990: configuration of half patched USITT1990 (most used DMX connection): configuration (Adpater): the 3pin XLR connections don´t match with USITT1990 but they are tolerated in the industry.
  21. as far as I can remember the original XL / XLS series: XL: is limited to 96 DMX channels. XLS: has two memorys for DMX patches. (P1/P2) I wonder that the XLS isn´t limited in outsending DMX signals  but I´ve just checked the manuals ... regards
