As I read your reaction on my post - my suggestion isn´t a feature of the F² now - indeed you can park a fixture and you can create areas which can be excluded but you can´t exclude single channels from programming - please correct me if I´m wrong. If I could I would be the first to buy a F² I love the desk and it´s functions but I also love the Frog series desks.

Hi NZ, K-Nine The area thing sounds very near to that I want to achieve, is there a way to have a function of fixtures in another area ? Maybe the LampOn / Reset functions ... to prevent them to be activated by accident. A channel park and exclude could be very powerful tool for all the desks. @stagefrog: don´t be that pessimistic on that point - I´m sure zero88 will investigate some time on this point when F² runs and they got the time for such a big thing. It´s a main function when it is possible it would take many time to implement it into the existing software.

Dear K-Nine, please remember that those values outputted from submasters will be recorded to the memories, chasers submasters. It would be very cool when channel fixture is parked it wouldn´t be recognised by programming any more. So we can turn worklights on, while programming the show. Its just a suggestion and I think it deserved to have a look into this

John and Paul are right not to power inductive loads like movinglight ballast with dimmers.
-
Maybe this is a problem with your keyboard ...
-
I suppose sp has too much time on hands...
-
Sam.Handerson is refering to the switch function of some dimmers... As Paul suggested I created a fixturefile with different beamshape functions for relays. It can be found HERE be careful using it when programming in full mode ! Its possible that the LTP values turn to 0 when a scene with relays off was programmed by accident. for any questions you can PM me or write a direct post in here. regards.

Sorry Paul, the show must go on  I often use houselighting system with a demux and my demux didn´t have DMX hold function. so when i pop out the DMX the stage gets dark immediately. Not fun if artist are playing.

They wanted to show how far they are in lighting industry ? I despite that anybody get the clue behind the name like from zero to hero.

Cool Laubfrosch, very funnie froggame... my score: 345 regards

Why rack zero88´s brain ? when zero88 decide on bringing up a feature they will choose a usable and reliably key combination as they done before: i.e. pressing F1 and color/beamshape/position locks the preset screen pressing F1 and fixture button shows a DMX output screen of 6 fixtures. there are only very few 3 button combinations until know... regards

No Frog Reference Number ?
-
Hi K-Nine, as simple as that ...
-
That´s the reason why there aren´t any switches on frog1 series desks...

Hi, this is something to think twice - I doubt myself as I read the "Super Users while show is running" post. Yesterday at the beginning of Dirk Busch 2005 Tour I was totally anguish becouse some QuromaQ Scroller pegged out while the show was running. They made a horrible noise when scrolling. There was no way to fix this problem but taking the power of them. My Idea is to have a "quick fixture disable" function.

You can also create your own fixture file with the Fixture Type Editor found HERE

Hi, Why dont patch some channals together ? Do you need the control of each parcan in your rig ? When I ran over the 48 Deskchannel then I patch i.e. Backlighting symetrical together... just a suggestion... regards

you are very welcome

Where did you get all those white nessle ??

Hi Zero88, I pay my respect to you guys, the Frog2 with software currently available... Thanks Graham Eales and Grant for advising me the Frog 2 regards from Frankfurt Happy FrogUser Sebastian

I despite that some of the bigger clubs here in germany runs a second console for backup - this could be marring to the clubs - especally the most have GrandMothers ... I despite that a Desk such as Mambo Frog fails apart from tipping a soda over the desk...( I´ve seen this done) I would sell the switchpacks and invest in some (nagelneue) new DMX driven dimmers... so you have your show on one desk... this culd be looking real cool 8)

Hi, I think it was suggested several times yet but as I do many different shows with our Frog, I need a better way to "correct" the cuelist a export/import to Excel will be perfect for this... (Sorry - but´s a pain to step thru the memories and pressing F2 and naming it etc. etc.) Best regards Sebastian

Hi ice is very right as he usual is, however I have a idea of possible reason why your trackspots didn´t do the movement´s proper. I remember that Trackspots inverting the mirrorspeed value that means that you put the speed to 255 to reduce the speed lower the value. kind regards

oopps sorry Jason ... I was little incoherent last night ...

Use the arrow keys to scroll thru fixtures menu until it shows "PSet" then scroll until it shows "MOdE" choose "DMX4" be sure you use the mode4 fixturefile fo your Macs. Useful Hint: If the display is wrong directed (upside down) then push both arrow keys (up and down) at same time then the display turns.
