according to that it is possible to get the original code even when desk is locked: by updating the desk operating software 'DOS' *lol* after the update it will setted back 0000 - this is only a assumption due to most of IT processes I know.

I would go for unplugging the unused fixtures ... Hi, what about a SOLO disable ? I think MA has a similar function on lightcommander could be done in desk setup: SOLO on chan LED is on SOLO off: chan LED is off - This function should only used by HTP channels. Should be the same thing...

Hi, We have got a XLS desk also in our hiring gear but it is a little ill, will say it has a headache :? It loses all its memories after about one day ... and while a show is played only on Chase 3 a problem is counting the steps I have programmed about 5 steps per memory and while running, it counted up to 99 steps then disp says NL. or ER. I changed the internal memory accumulator but it didn´t bring the desk back to live ... I don´t want to scrub such a simple to use and good lighting item. TIA

You should have made a security copy of your show before copy each mem ... I found out that it is a little tricky to copy about 100 memories step by step I would go to point the memory as mem 4.1 ... it´s the same thing as mem 5 you don´t have to do the book, only change cue 5 to cue 4.1 no "jump" will be required anymore. cheers

Hi guys, It´s just a sugeestion / question of posibbility When a desk is in palette lock mode half the screen is empty so my sugestion is to show the Output screen in the other half of screen to see what is going on.

I never mind the colour of the desk - I think nobody is interested really. By the way each person who has seen the desk mentioned the cool design ...

So your laser has to be ethernet controlled or have you got an additional controller card esp. for the laser ? I ´am curius about that because I´ve never haerd about ethernet controlled lligting things exept the iLight Products and eCue Media engine ...

CD - RW ? have you think about the bus system and software needed to write and read CD ROMs all this things have to be invited for the Frog Desks... these problems apart is a CD drive a little overdressed to put 700KB things on it ... I think it is not a very big problem to have motorfaders, but why the duck a desk should have a expensive touch screen ? It´s needless if we have a cool interface on screen and some softbuttons....

Hi again, Why of all original fixtures the wheel groups aren´t setted up ? Is it because frog sorts the fixture functions automatically to the wheels ?

Is there a way to get the fixture data out of the original Zero88 one ? my Type Fixture Editor says there is an error opening gft11_00.ift "This is not a user type fixture file" I´m looking for a way to reconfigure Fixture type files this should be faster then making a new one every time I come in contact with new fixtures. Very good idea sam ! I was searching a way to get extremly expensive LED goosneck light for my desk. But I put a XLR to the USB - gooseneck and it works fine without buying a new keybord ... the only thing to think is the USB need´s about 5V 2W and XLR provides 12 V !!

Hi I tried a logitech wireless desktop and it works fine ... Im sure other systems are running too.
