Hi That sounds like a damaged fader. You could try a small amount of switch cleaner in the fader and run it up and down a few times but I would look at replaceing this. If you want to PM me on the address below with your location I can point you at a company who can help or supply part to you.

Could you please e-mail me on the address below, the desk serial number and the version of firmware it is running on. Have you tried to assign any other fixtures from the disk? Something that you could try is using the desk to format the disk, then copy the file to the disk.

That is the correct operation for this. For certain parameters once you select the name from the sepacial field it will automatically add this in as the parameters name and does not allow you to change this.

Hi Vector, I think the issue you are seeing is to do with the program mode the desk is set to. you need to go into Super user, desk set up, program mode, ans check this is set to Partial mode. Once you change this other options will appear, check that the tracking option is set to off. Exit super user as normal. Then when you start using the fixtures you will notice that the Yellow LED will now flash when you change an attribute of the light, anything with a flashing yellow LED will indicate that an attribute on that light will be recorded when you press program. you need to make sure that only the light you wish to have control of is flashing. Also it will be possible to record only a single atribute to the submaster by only adjusting that attrinute and pressing program. And in Spanish using bable fish translator. can you pm the dimmers serial number on the address below. This is normally on the underneath near the LEDs. If you can not get this, when you power the unit up it will tell you what the firmware version is.

Hi Billy, yes their is a battery and this is the sort of things I would expect to see as it starts to fail. Can you PM on the address below the desk serial number so i can date the desk and let you know what battery you need.

Hi Ferg, Could you pm me on the address below with the desk serial number. I think the issue you are seeing is to do with the connection of the battery to the device that generates the clock for the unit. this may be somethign as stupid as a loose screw but it will be quicker to do it off forum.

Think that I may have dealt with this off line. If not is it a mk1 or mk2 desk. Quick way to tell is what colour is the front panel Grey or Green? If grey then, I assume that they work ok in two preset mode? If yes then there is nothing that I can think of that would stop the channel faders working in wide mode other than the dimmers not being set to correct addresses. If no then there could be a mechanical fault that is stopping them, broke track, failed IC's etc. If Green then same question as above, but there will also be the added issue with the desk own softpatch option being set so the channels are not 12-24 as well.

Tested this out and do not seem to have an issue loading fixtures into the phantom desk. Check the path to where it will search is correct in the settings menu. If you had it mapped to the USB port when a USB drive is plugged in make sure it is the same port the USB is generating when you plug it in now or update the path to drive match it.
