  1. How about using the keyboard, ie type 24 and use the up/down keyto rase the fader :?:

    DMX Smoke

    1 . DMX cable out of the desk to the stage 2. DMX into the dimmers 3. DMX out of the dimmers to the input on the smoker 4. DMX out of the smoker to your movers( if you have some) 5. Address your smoker to 48 dip switchs 5 &6 6. Rase fader 48 smoker will do its thing( desk must be in WIDE MODE.
  3. Nope!, when you press blackout all dmx values on the "frog" desk go to 0. What you need is a fatfrog, am selling oneif your into it
  4. Drummers still do that weird stuff , just look at the next one you see.
  5. Keyboard is your only option, key in 85 then press enter on the keyboard.
  6. When programming the pallets have you all the fixtures selected( yellow led flashing) that you what recorded to that pallet. Failing that, stick an end of line in the last fixture, solves a whole pile of troubles
  7. Yea its a pain, if you have movement saved to a sub or memory,if you edit anything to do with the memory/sub the movement stops. You'll have to reprogram the movement too.
  8. All fine and good, but woul'ent it be easier to do it during the saving of the show/gig,instead of digging the desk flight case outa the van, turn on the pc, rename the show,repack the van, then crash out :twisted:

  11. How can i tell if the board is compatable :?: , drilling holes in things doesent phase me at all,you would want to see some "Gunters" that have been pulled off at shows

  13. Could a frog screen be hooked up to a fatfrog?, a diagram of where to connect the unit to the board would also be handy

    Frogs and the Future ?

    How about planting one of those frog touch screen's in the desk, and use that for triggering all effects on the desk
  15. A couple of slow colour roles on the pallets also works great & if using mac 250+'s program a pallet with the strobe/reset wheel at dmx 170 great random flashes
  16. Too many stickers placed on the floppy disks spells trouble!!, dam things get stuck in the drive, happened twice :cry: . Great fun trying to drag a disk outa the duck of the desk at the get out
  17. Using a fatfrog, got ten martin kryptons of my own, a venue i'm gigin in soon has mini scans just would like to option of patching all the scans to one fixture button.Can invert the pan on the mini scans so it'll look ok.
  18. What's the chance of being able to patch more than one fixture to a fixture button?, of course the fixtures would have to be of the same type, max of four or something like that, is it a big job to do this :?
  19. Why not program all your moving fixtures in open white then using the pallets colour and gobo as required

  22. How many lamps and movers are you using and sombody might do a file on the phantom frog and e-mail you your show!!
  23. Sounds like you dont have a dmx smoker, is there a blinking led on the rear of the unit?(DMX)

If its rock they want, then its rock they get :!: Loads of pars at the back of the stage both on the deck and it the air, leave your macs on the drumriser, they can kick duck outa the drum solos. 4 or 8 litet moles on the front truss or pa open white facing the cattle and most important SMOKE!! hire 2 min. As noise boys would say before a rock gig " HEADS BOWN KNOBS TO THE RIGHT". Loads of chases.

    macros

    Whats the chance of gettin macros on the frog range :?: . Three would do lamp on, lamp off, and reset. Before you say it, I know I can program a pallet to do this.
