  1. What situation will you be using it in - club, theatre, music, corporate...
  2. Also, which LED would light when using wide mode?
  3. I have to admit that when I found that live adjustment of the chase speed was not possible I was rather shocked, when busking a show it is extremly useful to be able to to this. I would say that my way of doing it would be to not save the altered speed, but to just use it for the current occurence of the chase, the way to select may be to pree the flash button under the sub, or the 'memories' key, to select teh current cue. It could then be possible to have a Super User field which allows you to select whether it will save these changes or just ignore them...
  4. Re pre-heat etc, while I know a lot of dimmers have very good dimmer laws and things, most theatres do not contain these and when I am incoming to these venues I cannot really rip out their green gingers or STMs and shove some Chillis in instead, nice as that would be. If I am touring a show then I often want to be able to adjust pre-heat levels and dimmer laws so that the show looks the same without massive re-plotting, this allows for a dodgy dimmer that occurs throughout the show, as I said above you cannot adjust things like this on old dimmers without ripping the things apart, and it's not often that you have time for that! 5. I would definitely say that topset is a desk function, at the moment there is still some functionality that was part of the old sirius which is not present on the frog, topset being one of these things, it is always good to be able to quickly and easily remove a channel from the output temporarily (if a lamp is knocked for instance. It is also useful to be able to do pre-heat and dimmer laws from the desk, as most of the time I need pre-heat or laws is using old dimmers such as Green Gingers, which are ever so slightly lacking in the user interface front!!
  6. Hello, is there a chance that a utility could be created hat would allow you to create a patch in something like an excel spreadsheet or csv file, and then convert it to a frog show file so you can load it straight into the desk. This would allow the patch to be done without the desk present, and I doubt it would be particularly complicated. Also, any idea when the new release is coming??
  7. It's the same on the illusion as well, will you be fixing that too? Thanks
  8. Even better would be to make it so that if you press go while a cue is still running it will just stop the previous cue, and crossfade to the next instead (as strand/etc do) as there are a lot of thimes when you want to program long fades but sometimes need to go before one has finished.

Would it be possible to make it so that when you record over a cue you don't wipe the text label for that item, I can appreciate a reason for it, but when you are just updating it gets a little annoying!! Thanks Richard
  10. As Daniel said the 'spread' function would be good, also a figure of 8 and some more diagonal shapes would be good. With Subs it would be good as someone said elsewhere to be able to alter the chase speed live, also it would be very very very useful to be able to make a chase only affect one attribute of a specified fixture, this would open up worlds of opportunity for the frog.
  11. - A blind editing mode. - A remote (as does everyone) - A way of being able to type a cue number in instead of having to scroll - An inhibit function - The ability to only program specific attributes for a fixture (ie Pan and tilt, or colour, or gobo) to allow more flexible busking with submasters. There are more things but I think these are trhe most important for now
  12. If you attempt to copy a cue to cue -- (I think it's that way around) all cues between 1 and 18 will be displayed on the monitor output only as completly blank, while there contents will remain intact. This is not critical but is annoying.
