An rtf-file would do it for any application/platform; after translation & verification, the format could be made and preserved by those of the translators who is equipped with Acrobat. You may fling me on the uk>nl (& nl>uk ?) list. By the way, I would like to opt for the infamous green Zero88 deckchair...

...a International Topic... ...german forum board... Ahem (?)

I think it's something like this: frontscan: moves from center to left (pan1) backscan: moves from center to left (also) (pan1/pan2) both move simultanious up & down (tilt1&2) and/or... leftscan moves from center to right (pan3) rightscan moves from center to left (pan3/4) both move simultaneous up & down (tilt3&4) One have to bear in mind that the fysical mounting of the fixture does matter: what is the frontside of the scan, and how about turning the other scan 180 degrees, or just not! In fact, it's a scancopy but with individual (selectable) parameters. Is that a copy? I guess it has a reference number already...

Find many dmx repeaters with your favorite search engine: "dmx", "repeater", "circuit" e.g.: http://www.dmx512-online.com/dloads.html but you can also find opto-isolated repeaters. Est. costs (incl. box, ps & connectors) approx. E 25,- (that would make some E 100,- for adding a zero label) And you know how to use the soldering iron! [/img]

I know what you want, but I use a sub @ hand instead (only two hands?).

Yup, the usual symptoms of a cold: "foam on the olfactory module & bad head connections" (did you mean that KWR?). And so, the common remedy is rest (under the electric blanket) & _F_R_U_I_T_: the Frog Respawn Incubator Unit Thermostat. But seriously, the the blanket does work: it warms (hence dries) the desk (the Zero Tissue Box). Strikingly, the thread was started by 'ice' ! Now about this suggestion...

Yup , zero electronics can catch a cold ! (What temperatures are specified in the spec sheet?) I suggest you use a electric blanket (under the desk) in the future for outdoor gigs during the colder seasons. Keeps the hands warm as well in the interlude! Now, I could suggest a high-tech feature for the Frog desks, but ehmm...

Guessing that somewhere on this site, an admin has been posting about not publishing the " Unique Frog Reference Number List" (UFRNL; but I'm not sure), it would be convenient to know which issues are on this list. This applies especially to features and bugs. The reason is simple: is a certain feature already put forward and/or a bug reported? There is of course no need for immediate classification of importance from the Zeroboard, or even a 'To be expected in the next release' indication. After all, you're running the shop. Searching through the forums can be time consuming, apart from using (choosing) the right arguments. Linking the references to the corresponding topic on a forum might give the user a possibility to find the solution to an issue swiftly. I presume the sales department clever enough to modify the results from the hits list into increasing revenues... ________________________________________________ Mars wrote: Hey, I can't find the search button, gimmi a quick answer huh. Visualisation (and getting DMX out of Phantom Frog)
Mars replied to alcrooks's topic in Frog Range MK1
Considering the abovementioned arguments, wishes and possibilities, it might be an idee to develop (parts of) the software by the users, with supervision of the Zeroware board: is there a Linus in the audience? However, the risk of disgruntlement is ubiquitous here... -
Just a preference: Monitor & Desk window: As seen on other configurations: just a few sizes are allowed, ensuring a proper layout. Desk window: Only when maximized, scrolling is inevitable and acceptable (due to the desk sizes). I don't like the idea of scrolling a too large content within a too small window (don't like scrolling at all). off topic somewhat: After extracting the pictures from the executable, modifying the color depth and reassembling a desk, it was possible to magnify the desk size; the (green) desktop (frogtop?) however, needs considerable detail improvement to make this effort sensible. Admitted, the one-size-suits-all solution is obvious for a first version; dynamic resizing is very laborious (or expensive libraries). I guess the abovementioned problems are somewhat related to this issue. Hey, there isn't a Frog in the emoticon selection field!

What about those slick 7 - 14" flat screens? They're flat (hmm), relatively small, not very heavy and almost not at all fitting in the flight case. And extremely expensive. But I think we're talking of a GUI by now. (How are the next series of Zero desks to be called?)

; TRUE: = True ; FALSE: = NotFalse Our fat frog disappeared recently from our back garden, but I hesitate to ask my neighbours if they've spotted my fat frog. (hence the posting)

If the responses on this forum keeps statistically low, I guess it is not sensible to repeat such a question in your local pub.

Quote from that forum: "the Frog is based on the Sirius series, which is a variation of the XL series" So then the Ultimate Frog would be based upon Mercury (huh?) (confirm if true: [yes] / [yes] ) 8)

Wow, up to 10 dmx addresses into 1 desk channel ! Agreed, it's sufficient for my purposes, but's quite limited compared with Zero's 'obsolete' desks. But so far, it's a minor issue.

Last weekend, I was running between two halls managing two events, one being a band with semi-automatic chasers and S2L effects, the other a more regular performance with needed much more but not continuous attention. I had to listen to the band to detect the end of the songs in order to raise the FOH when the next song was announced. I pondered the following, yet not existing solution: If the FOH channels could be programmed as reacting on the S2L signal (but not the voices), but with the output values inverted (no sound->on ; sound->off), the above situation could be left unattended. Imagining about it, I could do many funny things with it. This feature not being very urgent: I could also 'modify' a Mercury.

Some considerations, but not decisive... 100% of the cue run: The full course between two scenes, including all timed threads time (%) indicators: From shortest to longest, blinking if more threads are following, indicated with synchroneous blinking matching symbol, e.g. fade up : Current: ... s_^ fade down : Current: ... s_v LTP fade : Current: ... s_z dwell : Current: ... s_~ Finishing if next-after-next scene is launched before end of current threads (in case of panic/slip/bridging-the-gap on the stage) -instantly (snap) finish current & force next -don't bother, just finish / progress without any clues (selectable in SU) Hmmm, so now it's becoming a improbable clever frog... It's clear that not all the interfacing issues can be ironed with software. 2Bcont.

No Topset ??? You're not joking? (blind was also lost already) I would recommend unconditional free selectable channel topset. Setting up dimming curves for the stack (location: attic) of betapacks and rackmasters would also be very handy. Preheat: I could rip them, but there's no sense in re-adjusting them weekly (for another show). "stop us going down the route of..." Agreed, but I cannot jump over to 2000plusplus pound/euro desks. So there is this meticulously fine balance of functionality/price, but I would like the max/min option respectively.
