  1. I chose my options so long ago, i don't actually remember what they were. however... One thing i have missed after using Leapfrogs and Orb XF's is the little LCDs for the UDK's and MFF's. I understand they have their own screen to tell you what they are, but i miss looking at the faders and seeing the name and what cue your in, especially when you are running a show with the master stack as well. The other thing i thought of is to motorise the faders, however, i do realise they may be more expensive and may require a little bit of restructuring, but my though process is that most companies have them utilised in their current desks, Avolites D9 and Grand MA2 & 3 as the most obvious examples to me. Just thought of this as something that could be mentioned? Jus thinking about the future of LX consoles?
  2. Thank Edward. found some good ideas, but is it possible to offset the fixtures entirely (so no 2 fades are the same, if that makes sense?)? The reason I made the chase was because of the ransom order, which, as you know, mixes the order of the 15 or so cues i programmed in. set it with a very low BPM (I think I did it at 11 BPM) to adjust the light output overall. God knows if this explains anything, or if i am just drabbling. Forgive me if this makes absolutely no sense whatsoever!
  3. Hi. First post from me is a request for suggestions. i have got several profiles in my rig at the mo and am looking to make a "forest in the daytime" sort of effect (like how Chessington does it on the Gruffalo). I currently have them running as a chase on a MFF, but was wondering if there was a better, or easier way of getting the effect I have been looking for. Hope this explains the idea. if you don't understand, i don't blame you! pretty awful at explaining stuff at the best of times. Thanks all! Adam
