  1. Cracking, makes perfect sense! I was just headed back here to say I’d found it, the fact I could hit view and open a playback had erased itself from my brain. Great work adding it to the tips for the next time I forget 😅
  2. Found a couple of old threads that seemed like they might cover this, but being old they had links that didn't go anywhere so apologies if this post feels like a repeat. I have a show programmed with cues on the master. For the most part I programme the dimmers on the main cues and programme scene colours/chases/effects on to playbacks and trigger and release them as I go through the show. For the most part this works well but for some cues the colour will "pop" as one cue is released and a new one triggered (same fixtures). I've played with what feels like all the playback settings and can't get the behaviour to crossfade smoothly. Any ideas appreciated. I've attached the show and fixture files and a good cue to look at is 26 to 27. Hero Wash 715 HEX LED.ift Visage VIS033.ift WoZ 2023.zos
  3. Thanks for this thread guys. I was having a separate issue with colours snapping when I triggered a playback. In my case changing the colour fade time from 0 to 1 solved my problem and made for a much smoother show.
  4. I’ll add a bump to this as a feature I’d like to see
  5. So I’ve just run my first show using the flx s24 and all went well 🎉🎉🎉 I have a niggle I couldn’t find my way round. As you will be able to see from the attached show file (let me know if you need my custom fixture files), I used playbacks to set scenes/chases and then triggered them in the master playback stack as a way of recalling them. This worked pretty well when it came to FOH chases as the moving head start position was irrelevant. When it comes to static scenes (not at a desk right now but the playback ‘Alice house’ comes to mind which is triggered around cue 3) the lights don’t move on dark to the playback start position which means they start to light and pan up from home. I could work around it by setting the position ahead of the trigger but that seems to defy the point of triggering playbacks and being able to quickly insert them in to a show. Is there a way for me to allow the master playback to see inside the trigger to find the position parameters ahead of time or is there a better way of triggering ‘scenes’ that I’ve not found? Thanks in advance p.s. working in a school I’m loving the ability to use phantom zeros with the student version of capture to visualise this show. Only wish I had the budget to have a full version so I could use my fixtures. Alice in Wonderland3.zos
  6. With all the effort of creating images here it only seemed fair to create an account to thank you all. I’m sure I’m going to be scrolling a while. I’d quite like to have some images for common themes on my desk; forest/palace/night/etc. (Forest might be a gradient of greens and yellows for example) If I create some I’ll certainly come and share them here. Thank-you again and I hope I contribute soon.
