FLX S24

I decided that the RDM is not really necessary as this is for an in house theatre system that will not change very often. I disabled it and added the fixtures using a slightly different description. It works fine. Thanks for all of your help. There is a sentence in the manual: Experience is the best way of fully learning the console. Through time you will develop your own operating style. I am certainly gaining a lot of experience we changed our theatre set up from a simple dimmer pack system to using FLX s24 and various LED devices. I am learning something new every few minutes. I am sorry if I am asking very simple and naive questions.

I have some Selecon Rama Led 3100K fixtures. These are recognised by RDM and are installed as Dimmers. When I power down and then switch on again the console assigns them to different faders. As you can imagine this is somewhat frustrating. I have tried installing them as normal fixtures but when I turn of and then on RDM jumps in and they are recognised again. Is the only solution to turn off RDM? If so how do I do that? Many thanks Pete

My Showtec Spectral M1500 Q4 fixtures do not seem to be supported by ZeroOs. I have tried Showtec Spectral 1500 Zoom but the “FULL” 25 Channels do not work. When using 17 Channel or Tour Mode the colours work OK. Trying to Zoom causes the Fixture to hang up. I am a Mac user and cannot use your Fixture Tools. What can I do? Hi I have just purchased a FLX S24 for use in my theatre, I am learning something new every few minutes. I cannot find my ZerOS version number as I am not sure if I am running the current version. I have tried to load the the latest software but it is not acceptable. What can I do?
