    For the appearance of several DMX channels on a fixture, in general, I prefer to change the DMX numbers on the devices themselves. But there in the occurrence in the Theater where I was all dimmers DMX are blocked. Thus the only way to group multiple projectors is to group several DMX addresses with 1 fixture.

    exemple for Face projecteurs, there s about 16 projecteurs, but need at first two dimmer fixture... But with this bug, I use in fact 6 dimmers fixtures.

     

    1 / DMX Addition:
    I will try for the addition of DMX address and I would see if indeed everything works.

    3 / I can not remember if I left the Setup part or not ... But it's true that I did not think about the fact that when we leave the setup menu we see a window recording.     I do not know if I understood well...

    You have several states.
    CUE1 "Face 100 % - Side Bleue 100 %"
    Cue2 " Face 50% - Side Red at 50%"
    Cue3 " Face 20 % - Side off - Back Bleue at 80%"
    Cue4 "Black"
    Cue5 "Face 0% - Side OFF - Back red and bleu at 70%"
    etc.

    You want a different fade effect between each cue ...

    For my shows I need for each painting transitions with different times ... Ditto for blacks.

    Is
    Cue 1 fade of 3 seconds to go on
    Cue 2 fade of 15 seconds to go on
    Cue 3 fade of 7 seconds to go on
    Cue 4 fade of 0 sec to go on
    Cue 5
    etc ...
    So I end up with 300 to 400 cues that all have their time to bland ...

    For my part at the time of recording I have the ability to record a specific fade time ... which can be changed as much as possible according to the needs ...
    Knowing that we can also make a different fade time to go up and down as needed.
    Thus it is necessary at the moment of "record" to indicate the time of fade with the number of cue ...

    0 / Before starting my new show I did a "Reset Desk" of the FLX!


    1 / I enter a fixture 1 (dimmer chanel) with for example the DMX channel 150.
    I want to add a second DMX channel eg 180. (function add DMX) All is well.
    And I enter a last number, for example the 210, and when I validate the addition of the last channel. I find myself with

    and 211 ...
    I delete everything thinking I made a syntax error.

    I start again, with 150, 180 and 210 in DMX channels and I find myself again with

    and 211 ...
    I do not understand how the 211 can come in the group alone without being added with the numeric keypad of the FLX ...

    aujourd 'hui je suis reparti sur un nouveau spectacle et j'ai eu des choses etranges....


    0/ Avant de commencer mon nouveau spectacle j'ai fait un "Reset Desk" de la FLX !


    1/ je rentre une fixture 1 (Dimmer chanel) avec par exemple le canal DMX 150.
    Je veux rajouter un second canal DMX par exemple 180.(fonction add DMX) Tout va bien.
    Et je rentre un dernier numero, par exemple le 210, et lorsque je valide l'ajout du dernier canal. je me retrouve avec
    150
    180
    210 
    et 211...
    J'efface le tout pensant avoir fait une erreur de syntaxe.

    Je recommence le tout, avec 150, 180 et 210 en canaux DMX et je me retrouver de nouveau avec
    150
    180
    210 
    et 211...
    Je ne comprends pas comment le 211 peut venir dans le groupe tout seul sans etré ajouté avec le pavé numerique de la FLX...

    A l'inverse, parfois lorsque je suis en train de rajouter des numeros DMX, 
    Par exemple le 
    205
    Puis le 209, pas de soucis.
    Et si je veux rajouter par exemple le 221 j'ai un affichage que le numero est deja utlisé... J'annule le rajout pour regarder sur la table DMX ce qu'il en est... Et le numero n'est pas utlisé... Je recommance tout depuis le début et j'ai la meme phrase que le numero est deja utilisé...
    La seule solution est d'utilisé une nouvelle fixture pour ajouter le canal DMX en plus... Mais cela me limite le choix des fader....

    3/Derniere chose, Hier soir avant d'arriver aujourd'hui au spectacle j'avais fait un reset Desk pour tout effacer.
    Ce matin quand j'ai branché la console, et que je l'ai branché je me suis rendu que tous les fixtures effacées hier etait revenues et donc j'ai du refaite un reset desk...


    Fin de mes questions et petites choses etranges...


    que dois je faire pour resoudre les différents soucis que j'ai pu constater ce matin et aujourd'hui.

    I think that the solution to have a user manual is precisely to have something that is organized and logical for a new user.


    Because the user manual that can be downloaded is organized by chapter.

    And if this notice is out of date, (certainly due to the fact that ZerOs versions are faster than the time to write and explain the evolutions ...) it still allows to have a good idea of the operation of the FLX.


    But I really think that allowing the new user to have an up-to-date and easily accessible user manual, should be an additional argument coming to you rather than in other brands.


    Indeed how many users can tear their hair to find solutions ... And how many brands have only the record of version 1, so that users have no other choice of having to find evening another console and especially disadvised the console. Or try to do the best without the possibility to use all the thing with efficacy...

    I think FLX deserves to be known and to sell more.


    In France there is the GRAN MA 1, 2 which is on the basic console and nobody dares to go elsewhere ... Even if it is a real gas plant ...
    So I think for many shows that I can see with a Gran MA that is only used 10% ...

    So having an even more functional FLX on one side (another post on the effects and color management) and a record always up to date and easy to access would be a great idea to go ahead and make the FLX can sell the most possible !

    I come back to my idea of fashion in jobs evolutive on the internet. (A kind of "WIKIPEDIA Zero 88")
    A place where you could with the community put the FLX mode of use. (This can also serve as a basis for "XL Solutions and Solutions")

    I could visit more quietly and I see you have an active community.

    One could imagine linked to this forum this base of instructions that you could create then add some active and informed members of this community to help you to evolve this notice during the updates and thus to have an effective help for the new users.

    So I think some of the time you spend answering on the forum could be reduced. But most of all, a lot of the questions would actually have an answer.

    In addition to some complicated topics or not clear enough in this leaflet, nothing prevents you from putting the links to topics on forum that you might consider as effective and useful.

    Thus it represents a sum of work at the beginning, but which would then be limited to the evolutions only.

     

    I also think it would be a big plus on the markerting side. Because many users users are also available to help.

    Je reviens sur mon idée de mode en emplois évolutif sur internet. (Une sorte de "WIKIPEDIA Zero 88")

    Un endroit ou vous pourriez avec la communauté y mettre le mode d'emplois de la FLX. (Cela peut servir aussi de base pour les "Solutions et solutions XL")

     

    j'ai pu visiter plus tranquillement et je vois que vous avez une communauté active.

     

    On pourrait imaginer lié à ce forum cette base de notice que vous pourriez créer puis ajouter quelques membres actifs et avisés de cette communauté pour vous aider à faire évoluer cette notice au fil des mises à jour et ainsi avoir une aide efficace pour les nouveaux utilisateurs.

     

    Ainsi je pense qu'une partie du temps que vous passez à répondre sur le forum pourrait être réduit. Mais que surtout une bonne partie des questions auraient de fait une réponse.

     

    De plus sur certains sujets compliqués ou pas assez claire dans cette notice, rien de vous empêche de mettre les liens vers les sujets sur forum que vous pourriez juger comme efficace et utile.

     

    Ainsi cela représente une somme de travail au debut, mais qui ensuite serait limité au seules evolutions.

     

    Je pense aussi que cela serait un gros plus du coté markerting. Car many users users are also to have a they have as a help.

    So I think an evolution in the future would be that the color mixer can take into account what the projector can do. And currently more and more projectors have the included RGBW + A + UV ...

    Preprogrammed positions:
    The other lack is to have some preprogrammed positions in the automatic.
    There is HOME. But I think having a position at 25 °, 45 °, 65 ° and 90 ° could be a plus. And then a random position that could serve as a basis for an effect.     FLX 2 (One day can be a hardware update)

    Ce qui manque ou que je n'ai pas encore trouvé comment faire (...):

     
    Coté Effets (moouvements / couleurs / chases )
    - Plus d'options afin de pouvoir avoir des préréglages dans les options de mouvements supplementaires pour les aotomatiques.
    Egalement avoir plus de variations de couleurs possibles (Automatiques et LED) et aussi des chases. (Traditionnel et LED)

    En fait quand on a le temps de programmer de multiple choses c'est un pas un soucis. (C'est ce que je vais pouvoir certainement faire avec Capture) 
    Mais dans le cas ou le temps manque c'est là que d'avoir quelques petites choses de programmées en plus serait bien.

    Couleurs :
    Second manque c'st du coté des coleurs et donc des choix proposés.
    - c'est pour les projecteurs qui travaillent en Rouge vert bleu Blanc Ambre. Le fait que l'ensemble des 5 couleurs ne puissent pas directement etre prise en compte dans les préreglages de couleurs fait que la FLX essaye de faire de l'ambre avec ROUGE VERT BLEU BLANC au mieux ... MAis passe à coté du vrai ambre. Et lorsque l'on va sur l'ambre par le biais de la roue codeuse, et ensuite il faut  jouer en l'ambre et le blanc couleurs pour trouver la bonne tonalité.
    Ainsi je pense qu'une evolution dans l'avenir serait que le melangeur de couleur puisse prendre en compte ce que le projecteur peut faire. Et actuellement de plus en plus de projecteurs ont le RGBW + A + UV d'inclus...

    Positions préprogrammées :
    L'autre manque c'est de pouvoir avoir quelques positions préprogrammés au niveau des automatiques.
    Il y a HOME. Mais je pense que d'avoir une position à 25°, 45°, 65° et 90° pourrait un plus. Et ensuite une position aléatoire qui pourrait servir de base à un effet. Un peu comme lorsque l'on a des ACL qui parcourent la scene. Ainsi une creation aléatoire pourrait faire gagner du temps au lieu de devoir positionner chaque projecteur...


    FLX 2 (Un jour peut etre une mise à jour matériel)
    L'autre grand plus serait d'avoir un second port video pour pouvoir avoir sous les yeux directement la fenetre des cues sur grand ecran et sur le second  ecran l'acces aux 4 fenetres couleurs, effet, etc... 
    Gains de temps et acces plus rapide pour etre plus productif.

    Et finalement quand à avoir une evolution de la FLX c'est avoir plus de roues encodeuses, comme sur les Magic Q. 
    Et ainsi d'acceder directement à certain reglages plutot que de devoir faire défiler l'ecran. 
    l'aspect roues encodeuses supplementaire pourrait etre inclus dans une option Wings avec petit ecran LCD (comme sur les consoles sons de chez Yamaha, Berhinger, Midas et cie)

    Dernier manque, c'est coté notice PDF, avec une version à jour pour expliquer toutes les nouvelles fonctions qui arrivent au fil des versions. Ainsi je pense qu'il serait positif d'avoir la possibilité de pouvoir avoir un document WEB qui puisse facilement se transformer pour mettre à jour la notice d'utilisation avec le logiciel de la FLX.


    Voilà avec l'été qui arrive, je vais pouvoir etudier plus à fond les fonctions de la FLX et ainsi pouvoir mieux la connaitre mais egalement commencé des petits films vidéos pour présenter ce super produit en Français.

  8. So I Can see on FLX Notice  that ArtNet window can give me access to IP adress.

    But on FLX Window, it s not same option that on the Manuel... I can't find how to configure IP ArtNet adress. 

    I try to seen on Network device and there is nothing.

    Like I tell before on Z window I can see :

    On FLX Z System info 

    DHCP:

    "No DHCP IP adresse"

    ArtNet :

    Device 1 Green pastille and Transmitting on IP 2.141.1.1 Net 0 Subnet 0 Universe 1, 2, 3, 4 0 Devices connected

    Red Pastille Not transmitting No DHCP Adress...

     

    On Capture window 

    Automatique (IP 169.254.1.189) 

    I try to change IP and nothing possible

    DMX universes are OK and projector have Patch address with correct channels circuits.

     

    On MAC Preferences :

    Subnet : 255.255.0.0

  9. I really dont understand things... And I dont find where to change IP adress on FLX... I go on Art net window, and try to enter IP on Net (not working) 

    try on "Net option" and nothing work

    I got your message. I have a straight cable.
    I was seeing in the link you gave me and indeed I was not going on the option "Art Net".
    But once I'm on the Art Net page of the FLX, there is a multitude of choices ... and what should I do for all the settings in question?

    But I see tha schift + record it s a Quick step of différente option un record Windows 

    so if i Wanr’t to use during a dance moving light on a other playback I can at this Time change option... 

    i must experiment différents things ...

     

     

    so I did more attention about playback bouton and some Times there is one that swchitch on with out action from me 

    I can really think that there a mystérious  gosth on my desk.

     

    so now I go to bed bécause today i was recording about 245 cues 

  12. So I disconnect all and reconnect all and now stil yellow led on preference but IP change... It s now 169.254.167.116...

    and when I m going on Z "Info", there is

    - no DHCP IP adress 

    - Not transmitting...

     

     

    Must I do something on Art Net configuration....

     

    PS Then I never have anyone who managed to make me understand the operation of IP addresses. I understand that each machine must be able to be identified, But when I connect things between her I go unfortunately still to great Hazard ... and I'm still galley. I already had this problem with Lanbox which also worked with IP address or USB ... And IP, I have rarely managed to connect IP ...

    I bought two days ago Capture with two worlds, because that's what I'll use quite often.
    I managed to understand how Capture works.
    But now I'm blocking the connection between Capture and FLX.

    So I bought a thunderbolt / Ethernet cable, I have an Ethernet cable.

    I opened Capture, I at the patch allocated the projectors
    A.1 - A.20 - etc ...

    I have on the open FLX the things listed CAPTURE,
    But where I block it is at the table network (Preferences systems) the LED remains orange, as if the connection between the FLX and MACbookPro was not done ...
    Unfortunately I still have problems with all that is IP 169.254.115.162 with subnet 255.255.0.0 ...
    The LED remains yellow and indicates that the address is auto-assigned but can not access the Internet ...

    What should I do ?

    Colors (changes or variation)
    Projector movements
    Gobo / prism

    As we can be certain when entering a menu, we can act directly.
