  1. Hi Thierry, Thanks for confirming. As you may be aware, the cause of the issue is the number of LCD displays that are updated when playback pages are changed on LeapFrog 96/SolutionXL consoles. We are looking into a fix for this. If you have any questions let us know. Edward
  2. Hi Thierry, We have had another report of this on a LeapFrog 96, and are looking into the issue. Remind me, is this Solution or SolutionXL you are seeing this issue on? Edward
  3. Hi Shane, As Kevin says, either attaching your show file to this thread, or emailing it to us at support@zero88.com is the best way of us seeing what is going on. If you tap Z/Shift, the second encoder wheel displays Speed Override. If you tap the middle button of this encoder, this will disable speed override. Are you finding it is just the parameter fade times that aren't working, or are intensity fades not working either? If you have any questions let us know. Edward
  4. Hi Daniel, If this happens and you don't want the cues stored on the playback you wish to turn into a Grand Master, tap DELETE, and then the playback button. You can then hold SETUP and tap it, and choose Grand Master. Edward
  5. Hi Dominique, Welcome to the Zero 88 Forum. Really glad to hear you are enjoying your FLX S24. Any playback on the FLX S24 can be viewed in the cue list window. To view a playback, press and hold VIEW, and tap the playback button you wish to use. Doing this will not change the button function of any playbacks, simply display the cues stored on that playback in the Cue List window. You can see which cue you are in on the MFF Playbacks, by viewing the Faders window. Every Playback will display a "C" and "N", for Current Cue and Next Cue. Hope this helps, Edward
  6. Hi Neil, If you plug a USB keyboard into FLX S, you can use the ">" key for Thru. This allows you to type COPY, type 1>45 in the "From" field, and in the "To" field type the first cue you wish this range to be pasted to. Hope this helps, Edward
  7. Hi Zeus, The article Kevin links to is still correct as per ZerOS 7.9.7 - some of the screen shots just may look slightly different to what you're seeing. Under SETUP -> Settings -> Record & Update -> Tracking Options, ensure this is enabled. Then exit Setup, and press and hold RECORD. This will open the Record Options window on the internal touchscreen. If you wish to use the Selected Fixtures record option, you will need to ensure SmartTag is disabled, indicated with a blue button stripe. If you are programming cue stacks, ensure the tracking options are set to your required behaviour. Hope this helps, if you have any questions let us know. Edward @kgallen Thanks for your help with this.
  8. Hi Mark, In ZerOS 7.9.7, the INSERT button isn’t used, and so instead can be configured to be a Park/Unpark function. To do this, hold SETUP and press the INSERT button. You can then set the Normal function to be Park, and the Shifted function to be Unpark. You can then select a fixture, and press the INSERT button, and it will be parked. You can then hold SHIFT and press INSERT, and selected fixtures will be unparked. For more information see below... http://support.zero88.com/1011403601 Hope this helps, Edward
  9. Hi Terry, Thanks very much, I have replied to your email. Edward
  10. Glad to hear it. Any questions just let me know. Edward
  11. As Kevin says above, ZerOS wouldn't know what it is, plus Remote is currently Ethernet only on the console, not USB. Edward
  12. Hi Chris, There a couple of known issues with the wizard. I would therefore recommend creating the fixtures outside of the wizard. From opening the Fixture Editor, choose "Create a New Fixture Type" (or just press ENTER), rather than choose "use wizard". Then double click on "Manufacturers" from the left hand side, and type your manufacturer in. Then right click under "Fixture Type", and choose "Add Fixture Type". You can then give it a name (which is used by Frogs and Jesters), and then a long name which is used by ZerOS. Fixture modes can be separated by "fixture name : mode name" (space colon space). Then go to the parameters tab from the top, right click, Add Parameter, and add each parameter in one by one. You don't have to put Special details in, however I would recommend doing so for Dimmer, Red, Green, Blue, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Zoom, Focus, Pan, Tilt. For White, ZerOS name matches the parameter "White", and can then use this parameter for colour mixing. 🤦‍♂️ Thanks Kevin 🙄 😆. Actually I believe the software was made by one of ZerOS software engineers, however many moons ago, and sadly updating this software is very low priority, especially as we'd like to build it into ZerOS in future. You would still be able to do this, however using Phantom. Hope this helps, Edward
  13. Hi Terry, Please email us a copy of this message to support@zero88.com. We will then be able to investigate this to see what the cause may be. Edward
  14. Hello, Reset Desk will not remove custom fixture files. That is why under SETUP -> Clear Options, there is also a Clear Fixture Files button. A Factory Reset however, will remove custom fixture files. I'd therefore recommend resetting the desk, not factory resetting, to allow you to still access the custom fixture files that are currently in the console. If possible, it is a good idea to collate all custom fixture files into a single fixture file, as a backup for if you need to perform a factory reset or software update. Hope this helps, Edward
  15. Hi Chris, Welcome to the Zero 88 Forum. Yes, as @kgallen mentions, this is done by setting all fixtures to the values you wish them to default to, and then tap RECORD, followed by tapping the Home icon. To do this you will need to record the fixtures in their colour, however at 0% intensity. To do this you will need to disable SmartTag within the Record Options. For more information, see below... http://support.zero88.com/1011707631 Hope this helps, Edward
  16. Hi Kay, What you are after is a "hue" channel, allowing you to cycle through the hues you want using a single parameter. Unfortunately unless there is a macro/hue channel on the fixture, there wouldn't be a way of creating a hue parameter for you to then record on the console. What you could do is record a rainbow effect for your fixtures on one playback, and then set up a speed override on another playback. You could then run the rainbow effect, and the various colours would start to cycle, and you can then bring your speed override fader down to stop the effect when you get to the colour you're after. Remember speed override will affect the currently viewed playback. You could then record a separate intensity fader, and enable fader controls colour on the rainbow playback, giving you intensity on one fader, saturation from the rainbow effect playback, and then use the speed override fader to choose the hue. If you have any questions let me know. Edward
  17. Hello, It sounds like there may be an issue with the faders. I would recommend dropping us an email to support@zero88.com, and we'll be able to advise on repair. Edward
  18. Hi Kay, Some LED fixtures have a colour macro parameter that allows you to do exactly this, I'm guessing your fixtures don' have this? Could you simply select these fixtures, and then use the colour picker live? Edward
  19. Hi Chris, If you drop us an email to FixtureSupport@zero88.com with details on what is missing, we’ll be able to take a look and add this in. Edward
  20. Hi Eric, That's great, when we have an updated fixture file we will include it in a future library version release. Edward
  21. Hello, Hopefully Kevin's suggestions help you out here, if you have any questions let us know. (Just so you're aware I have deleted your duplicate post). Edward
  22. Hello, As Kevin and Thierry say, if you have 2 playbacks which have information for the same fixture, whichever you raise most recently controls the fixture, due to Colour, Beam and Position in playbacks mixing Latest Takes Precedence. As Kevin mentions, for better mixing, don't record whole lighting states on playbacks. Instead of having 2 colour scenes on faders, have lots of single colour scenes you can mix between. As well as achieving better mixing, this also gives you added flexibility of the lighting states you can create. Thanks very much @kgallen for linking to those. If you have any questions let us know. Edward
  23. Hi Eric, No problem. It sounds like the fixture's manual is therefore incorrect, if you have tried the replacement fixtures and are still experiencing difficulty. You can change the RGBW defaults to 0 if you wish, to avoid the fixture coming on despite the dimmer being down. Edward
  24. Hi Eric, I believe Keith has replied to your fixture request with an updated fixture file. Has this solved the issue? Edward
  25. Hi Eric, This is purely for testing purposes, so you can work out what the channels do. This matches the fixture file. When you find this information, we will be able to modify the fixture file, and send it back to you. It sounds like the "Dimmer" parameter is more like a shutter. If you have any questions let us know. Edward
