  1. After clicking Enter Details manually, you should see a drop down menu. In the drop down shows the starts of the serial numbers. Edward
  2. Hello, Thanks for confirming. I have deleted your images just to keep your serial number hidden. I see where the confusion lies: These numbers are the part codes of FLX S variants, listed below... https://zero88.com/control/flxs#partcodes This is the part of the console's serial number which defines the product, which is different to the part code. You can find this below by clicking Enter details manually... https://zero88.com/upgrade/ Apologies for any confusion, if you have any questions let me know. Edward
  3. This is covered from about 20 minutes in. Edward
  4. Hello, Really glad to hear you’ve found the training sessions useful. Yep, that’s correct on both a 1 universe and 2 universe FLX S. The difference between a 1 and 2 universe console is the number of DMX channels you can patch. Therefore a 1 universe console has a maximum of 512 channels, and 2 universe console has a maximum of 1024 channels. These channels however, can be patched across 64 universes - in SETUP -> Universes you’ll see all 64 universes listed, which you can configure to route from the console. As an example you could patch half the channels on universe 1, and the other half on universe 2 on a 1 universe FLX S - or indeed fill both universes on a 2 universe FLX S. I hope that clears things up- let me know if you’d like me to elaborate. Where abouts are you seeing this number in the serial number? That is the order code for a Chilli 12 dimmer! Feel free to email me a picture of your serial number if you’d like me to confirm. Hope this helps, if you have any questions let me know. Edward
  5. Dear All, Zero 88 Fixture Library version 40 has now been released. For full information, including a list of included fixtures, please visit: http://zero88.com/library This release contains 12,228 fixtures from 392 different manufacturers. The library is released in 2 formats: Full version for desks running ZerOS software (FLX, FLX S, Solution range, ORB range and Leap Frog 48 & 96). Filtered version for other Zero 88 desks. This removes data that is not used by these other desks, so that the file is smaller. When using a floppy disk (original Frog series, Illusion 500) it is recommended that the floppy disk be freshly formatted before using it. Download & Installation The correct format of the library for your desk can be downloaded by clicking the product name below. Please ensure your console is running the latest software before attempting to update. The library (.ift file) should be placed in the root directory of the floppy disk or USB stick. ZerOS desks (FLX, FLX S, Solution range, ORB range and Leap Frog 48 & 96) To load this file into your console extract it to the root of a USB stick and plug into your console. Then tap SETUP, tap "Load", then select the GFT.ift file. JesterML & JesterTL To load this file into your console extract it to the root of a USB stick and plug into your console. Then tap Setup -> Update Fixture Lib -> Update Library. Frog Series and Illusion 500 Use 'Common Fixture Manager' (included in the Fixture Tools download) to select the fixtures you wish to use, and save this as a file to a floppy disk. Diablo The fixture library is used with the Diablo Fixture Manager PC software. Sirius 250/500 Use the Fixture Type Editor to import fixture types from the fixture library, and then use the ‘Export Sirius UFT’ function (under the ‘File’ menu) to generate data in the correct format for the Sirius 250/500. Further details of assigning fixtures on the desk to fixture types in the fixture library can be found in each desk’s operating manual. Additional Fixtures If you need a fixture type which is not in the library, please click here. If you have any questions let us know. Edward
  6. Hi Eric, It is still sat in my inbox at the moment, as we have been very busy with all our online training. However, I will be taking a look at this, and will email you the steps we’ll need to make to get it on our website. Again thanks so much for all your effort and passion for helping others with FLX. Edward
  7. Hi Eric, Great, thanks for the update, really glad to hear it. Edward
  8. Hi Eric, Sorry I haven't replied sooner. Yes as Kevin says, these are fantastic. I saw you posted on Audio Fanzine too for people to see. We will be in touch so we can arrange creating a playlist of these videos on the Zero 88 YouTube channel. Hey Kevin! Haven't seen you on here in a while, hope you're keeping well. Edward
  9. Hi Emrys, FLX only has a DVI-D monitor output, not a VGA output. The D-Sub connector on the rear of the console is a D-Sub 9 connector, used for remote switches. If you have any questions let us know. Edward

    Print Patch

Hi Tom, Currently it still isn’t possible to export the patch. Only cue lists can be exported as a CSV file from the console. As suggested if you need to have a copy of your patch in front of you as you are addressing fixtures, you can either screen shot phantom ZerOS, or remotely connect a device to the console using the app and view the fixture schedule. If you have any questions let us know. Edward
  11. Hello, To hold down a button in Phantom ZerOS, right click on a button in the Front Panel window. It will then remain “held”, allowing you to click another button. Make sure you then right click the button again to release it. Hope this helps, Edward
  12. Hello, For our training sessions, we use a free version of Capture, that can be downloaded from our website below... http://support.zero88.com/1004254221 If you don’t have a console, you can practice with the visualisation software by linking Phantom ZerOS to Capture. For more information see below... http://support.zero88.com/988883201 Hope this helps, if you have any questions please let me know. Edward
  13. Hello, Great thanks for sharing the file. I will make sure this is added to the next fixture library release. If you have any questions let us know. Edward
  14. Hi Simon, Thanks for your comments. Hope you've been enjoying the streams. Yes - the streams will definitely be of use to Solution users too. We currently don't have this, but this is something we could look to create. In terms of general features, we have the comparison sheet below... https://zero88.com/control#compare Hope this helps, if you have any questions let us know. Edward
  15. Hi Franky, I believe Keith is replying to your email regarding this query. If you have any questions let us know. Edward
  16. No problem, if you have any questions let us know. Edward
  17. Hi Shakes, How are you altering the effect speed? Are you doing this by selecting the fixtures, tapping the "Effect" tab at the top of the touchscreen, and then using the encoder wheels? If so, you will need to tap Effect until you see the effect number displayed on the encoder wheel you wish to edit. For more information on effects, see below... http://support.zero88.com/1011404471 The best way of speeding up or slowing down effects manually is to use Speed Override. Speed Override can be accessed by tapping Z/Shift, and is on the second encoder wheel. Speed Override will adjust the currently viewed playback, so choose the playback you wish to adjust by pressing and holding VIEW and tapping the playback's button, and then use the Speed Override wheel. Tapping the middle button of the Speed Override encoder will reset back to the playback speed. Speed Override can also be configured to be controlled by a fader. To do this hold SETUP and tap an empty playback's button, and choose Speed Override. Hope this helps, Edward
  18. Hello, Welcome to the Zero 88 Forum. For more information on MIDI Timecode on FLX consoles, see below... http://support.zero88.com/990063141 Hope this helps, Edward
  19. Hi Franky, Welcome to the Zero 88 forum. I believe we have already replied to your email to support@zero88.com. If you have any questions let us know. Edward
  20. Hello, OK no problem, glad it is working correctly. Let me know if you have any questions. Edward
  21. Hi Richie, Welcome to the Zero 88 Forum. I have just taken a look at the fixture profile for this in version 39 of the fixture library, and I can confirm both basic and advanced modes match the channel map listed in the fixture's manual... https://www.chauvetprofessional.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/Q-Wash_360Z-LED_UM_Rev_01e_DC-MG_Signed_2011-05-18.pdf To confirm the version of the fixture library you are currently using, on the console tap Z/Shift -> System Information. Can you confirm the mode and DMX match on both the console and the fixture? If you have any questions let me know. Edward
  22. Hi Remi, Welcome to the Zero 88 Forum. If you select your movers, apply a circle effect, choose No Offset, and then fan the offset using "Fan V", you will see that the first pair of fixtures pan together, then the next pair, and so on working outwards. This is correct, however what you are after is for example the Stage Right fixtures to mirror the Stage Left fixtures. The easiest way to do that, is tap SETUP, select either the stage right or stage left fixtures, and then under Invert, Invert Both the pan and tilt for these fixtures. Now if you come out of Setup, select the fixture and simply apply a circle effect, the fixtures will work in/out from the middle. Changing the invert options will result in all existing programming being affected, so just be aware of this. Hope this helps, Edward
  23. Hello, Yes if you don’t mind, a quick video would be great. Cheers Edward
  24. Hello, No, there is no limit to the number of connected remotes/monitors. That’s odd - all Remotes and Monitors should be able to view independent desktops/displays. In an older software version, all monitors would have to share the same external desktop. Please ensure you are running ZerOS 7.9.7. To confirm, tap Z/Shift -> System Information. This is probably the quota limit for your account on the forum. We’ll look to increase this for you. Hope this helps, Edward
  25. Hello, To turn off Guidance, tap the X in the top right corner of the guidance panel. To reopen, tap Z/Shift -> Guidance. Hope this helps, Edward
