  1. Hello, Thanks very much for confirming. Let me know how you get on. Edward
  2. Hi Rene van Hove, Welcome to the Zero 88 Forum. Sorry to hear you're having trouble with the DMX output. We haven't heard of this issue before. To reset the DMX outputs, please tap SETUP -> Universes, and under the DMX option please choose reset to defaults. This will then reset the DMX, mapping Desk Universe 1 to Output 1. If this is a 1 universe FLX S24, resetting the DMX will assign both DMX Outputs to output Desk Universe 1 - do either of these ports output data? Can you confirm there are definitely fixtures patched and addressed on the Desk Universe mapped to the DMX output you are using? Can you confirm you have tried different DMX cabling and adapters, to ensure there isn't a cable fault? You will still be able to use your old show file from an earlier software version. Would you be able to email us a copy of your show file, for us to take a look to see what may be going on? If so please email it to support@zero88.com I hope this helps, if you have any questions, please let me know. Edward
  3. Hi Jouper, Solution consoles do feature a DMX input. DMX input channels can either be assigned to remotely control the intensities of patched fixtures, or to control the levels of programmed playbacks. The DMX input cannot be used as a merge between the console outputs and the incoming data. Configuring the DMX input to control fixture intensities, is done using the DMX Input column of the Fixture Schedule. Configuring the DMX input to control playbacks is done by tapping SETUP -> Triggers, and adding playbacks under the DMX In option. I hope this helps, if you have any questions let me know. Edward
  4. Hi Ian, If you brought the Android device and iPad close to the wireless router, could you connect more successfully? If you receive a "Desk Connection Failed" when you click on a console that has appeared, in most cases this means you don't have a strong enough connection for the UI to be streamed, however just enough for the desk pings to come through. Is there anything else connected to your lighting network, or is it simply the router connected to the console, and then a handful of wireless devices? For the majority of domestic routers, you shouldn't need to tweak any settings to get the console remote network up and running. If you have any questions let me know. Edward
  5. Hi Jouper, I'd recommend formatting the USB stick you are using in Windows, and then run the ZerOS OS Creator software again to create the bootable drive. If you are still having difficulty, please see the link below... https://zero88.com/manuals/zeros/software-updates/zeros-usb-creator/mbr-2 If you have any questions let me know. Edward
  6. Hi Petera, Thank you for confirming. Keith will get back to you shortly. If you have any questions let me know. Edward
  7. Hi Petera, Welcome to the Zero 88 Forum. What are you using to activate the switches? Remote Switches can be emulated on Solution consoles, and also in Phantom ZerOS running as Solution, using the buttons in the "Panel" desktop on the external monitor. If you view the Panel desktop, you will see six horizontal buttons below the playback flash buttons on the virtual front panel. These are mapped to remote switches 1 to 6. If you use these, does the console trigger your macros/cues correctly? If you have any questions let me know. Edward
  8. Hi Jouper, After installing the software, do you have any USB storage devices plugged in whilst booting the console? If so this will cause a boot error. To perform a fresh install of the software, please see the software update instructions below... https://zero88.com/manuals/zeros/software-updates/zeros-usb-creator If you have any questions please let me know. Edward
  9. Hello, I have just replied to your email to support@zero88.com. For the benefit of others reading this thread, my reply as follows: When a fixture is at 0% intensity, and you record it into a cue, by default the only value that will get stored is the intensity value, with remaining parameters continuing to do what they are currently doing. This is to aid in behaviour such as Move On Dark. However, in cases where you need to tell fixtures to turn off, and stop running an effect, you can record the cue by holding SHIFT and tapping the RECORD button. This will then also store the "No Effect" instruction into the cue. To repair the existing cue, go into the cue, and apply the No Effect palette. Then hold SHIFT and tap RECORD, followed by tapping the Z button, and typing in the cue number. You can then tap the flashing master playback's button, and confirm you wish to overwrite the cue. You will now find the movers are stopped and in blackout when you go into the cue. The main reason for this behaviour, is a Record option called "SmartTag". If you'd like to learn more about the Record Options, please see the link below... https://zero88.com/manuals/zeros/cues-playbacks/record-options I hope this helps, if you have any questions let me know. Edward
  10. Hi Jolyon, To be able to output Art-Net data from Phantom ZerOS, you will need a Phantom Unlock dongle. However, you can output the CITP protocol from Phantom ZerOS without an unlock dongle. The CITP protocol can be accepted by Capture visualisation software. If you have any questions let me know. Edward
  11. Hi Jouper, Welcome to the Zero 88 Forum. What version of software are you running on your Solution console? To find out, please tap the "Other Windows" button, top left of the Output Window. From the drop-down choose System Info. In the window that opens will be a line of text displaying the "Software Version". The latest software for Solution consoles is ZerOS 7.9.9. By default if you record fixtures with intensity levels as the first step of the chase, these should be played back as programmed. For information on Chases in the latest software, see the link below... https://zero88.com/manuals/zeros/cues-playbacks/chases If you have any questions let me know. Edward
  12. Hi Ian, This has always been the behaviour of Leapfrog consoles, stemming from before you were able to patch fixtures onto the channel faders. When the change was made in more recent software to allow fixtures to be patched on the channel faders, show file importing from other consoles followed the same behaviour as previously to avoid confusion. If I had 100 fixtures on a FLX, and transferred the show file to a Solution, having some fixtures on the faders, and then an "overflow" onto the MFKs, would arguably in most cases be more frustrating than having all the fixtures importing in the same place on the MFKs from 101 onwards. Let me know your thoughts, Edward
  13. Hi Ian, When loading shows from other desk types into Leapfrog, fixtures will be loaded from MFK 1 onwards (fixture 101), with the channel faders left for dimmers. This is to avoid compatibility issues, as Leapfrogs cannot have fixture numbers 49-100. Upon loading the show you will receive a message, asking whether you want empty channel faders to have dimmers patched to them. Once the show file is loaded, you will be able to renumber fixtures in the usual way. If you have any questions let me know. Edward
  14. Hi Nick, Thank you very much for the update. Really glad to hear your Leapfrog is now working correctly. If there's anything else you need just let us know. Edward
  15. Hi Phospene, That is correct. Selected fixtures are indicated with their buttons lit under the channel faders, and by orange circles in the Output window. More information here... https://zero88.com/manuals/zeros/controlling-fixtures If you use the filter top right of the manual and choose your FLX S type, you should find the syntax example is now hidden SmartTag can be disabled in the Record Options window, and will then remain disabled until you enable it again. When intensity parameters are played back from cues, they will by default mix with other playbacks with HTP behaviour. Colour, Beam, Shape and Position parameters will by default mix between the programmer and playbacks with LTP behaviour. Intensity, Colour, Beam, Shape & Position parameters can however be configured to use "Soft LTP" mixing when recorded into playbacks. This means your playback fader will allow you to cross fade your parameters from their current levels when the fader is at 0, to the programmed values when the fader is at full. To do this with Intensity, see the Latest Takes Precedence Intensity Mixing option, explained here... https://zero88.com/manuals/zeros/cues-playbacks/playback-settings/general#intensitymixing For Colour, Beam, Shape, Position and Effect, see the "Fader Controls..." options... https://zero88.com/manuals/zeros/cues-playbacks/playback-settings/general#fadercontrols I hope this helps, if you have any questions let me know. Edward
  16. Hi Phosphene, See the link below for information on the Record Filters and the colour coding... https://zero88.com/manuals/zeros/cues-playbacks/record-options/record-filters Using the filters, along with tagging and untagging parameters, you will be able to fully decide what parameters do and don't get recorded into cues. For information on tagging, see the link below... https://zero88.com/manuals/zeros/controlling-fixtures/tagging Hope this helps, Edward
  17. Hi Phosphene, Welcome to the Zero 88 Forum. For information on the filters in the Record Options window, please see the link below... https://zero88.com/manuals/zeros/cues-playbacks/record-options/record-filters I hope this helps, if you have any questions let me know. Edward
  18. Salut Delfine, Je viens de vous envoyer un e-mail, avec une traduction française du manuel ZerOS en pièce jointe. La traduction a été faite par @van den abbeele Eric. J'espère que ça aide, Hi Delfine, I have just sent you an email, with a French translation of the ZerOS manual attached. The translation was done by @van den abbeele Eric. I hope this helps, Edward
  19. Hi Ian, Glad to hear you were able to adjust the fixture Default values. For information on Record Options, Tracking, and the global Tracking options, see the link below... https://zero88.com/manuals/zeros/cues-playbacks/record-options Hope this helps, Edward
  20. Hi Ian, From your description, it sounds as though you are recording the default values with SmartTag enabled. When SmartTag is enabled, the console will not record a fixture's parameters if its intensity is at 0. This is why recording the home values is capturing the parameters correctly. Therefore firstly delete the current incorrect custom default values to get back to default (tap DELETE, and then the Home icon, and choose Defaults). Then press and hold RECORD to open the Record Options window, and ensure SmartTag is disabled, indicated with a blue stripe. You can then tap RECORD to save and close. You can then go ahead and record the desired defaults. For more information see the link below... https://zero88.com/manuals/zeros/controlling-fixtures/defaults Information on SmartTag is available here... https://zero88.com/manuals/zeros/cues-playbacks/record-options/snapshot-smarttag#smarttag I hope this helps, if you have any questions let me know. Edward
  21. Hello, The physical fader positions should be mimicked exactly on the front panel display on the touchscreen. If the on-screen faders don't match the physical faders, and compressed air doesn't solve the issue, the console will need to be serviced. FLX S consoles use an entirely different architecture to the x86 Leapfrog, so these differences are nothing to worry about. The online Universe Upgrades are temporarily unavailable whilst we migrate our systems. Please drop me an email if you’d like to proceed, so we can advise the best procedure during our migration. If you have any questions let me know. Edward
  22. Hi Nick, Thank you for the information. As the software is installing correctly, but then showing the "X", it sounds like your hardware may not have enough resources. We will reply to your email with more information. If you have any questions let us know. Edward
  23. Hi Nick, Just seen your email to Zero 88 support. We will get back to you and advise. If you have any questions let us know. Edward
  24. Many thanks for testing this further and showing your findings. I have added this to ZOS-7827. In the meantime, configuring the button function of the playbacks you are controlling with DMX In to Flash (rather than Go), should prevent the playbacks from getting stuck. If you have any questions let me know. Edward
  25. Hi Nick, If you have experienced difficulties getting the console to accept the software installation, have you tried configuring the Master Boot Record of your bootable USB drive, as per the information below... https://zero88.com/manuals/zeros/software-updates/zeros-usb-creator/mbr-2 If you have and you are still unable to update your console's software, please drop us an email to support@zero88.com, and we'll be able to advise on the best option to get the console up and running again. If you have any questions let us know. Edward
