    Print Patch

Hi Pete, Welcome to the forum. You're correct, currently you aren't able to print the patch. You can however export any playback as a .csv. We occasionally receive requests for this, so it is on our "to-do" list. Whenever I need to print the patch, I load the show file into PhantomZerOS on PC, go to the Fixture Schedule (SHIFT + F10 is the keyboard shortcut to enter Setup), and then hit Alt+Print Screen to screen grab the patch to print it off. If you have any queries using FLX for the first time don't hesitate to post here on the forum or send me an email. Edward
  2. Hi Simon, OK thank you for letting me know. Glad that has solved the issue. Edward
  3. Hi Simon, This sounds as though the Fader Function of the Master Playback is configured to be "Manual Fade (1-way)". To change this setting, hold SETUP + tap the Master Playback's Go button, and in the settings you will probably see Manual Fade 1-way has a red stripe next to it. Select HTP Master, and then click OK. You should then find the Fader sets the intensity level of your cues, and the GO button advances through them. Hope that helps, any queries let me know. Edward
  4. Hello, Glad you worked it out. For future reference, to Delete a colour picker image tap DELETE, and then tap the image you wish to remove. You can then confirm this command. Any queries let me know. Edward
  5. Cheeky! Not currently an exhaustive list, but we are working on that. We are in the process of compiling our knowledgebase for FLX, with the search engine allowing you to find the shortcut you need. http://support.zero88.com/Consoles/FLX/ Any queries let me know. Edward
  6. Hello, What version of the app are you running? What tablet do you have? Does both the Remote and Monitor app do this? Is this a large orange Z logo in a circle? If so this is the app splash screen. Could you take a screenshot and send it over to me? Edward
  7. Hi Wolfgang, Holding CLEAR and tapping an attribute key will tag/untag all parameters within the attribute. We refer to a parameter in the programmer as being tagged. Therefore with your fixtures selected you can hold CLEAR and double tap each attribute, and this will tag all parameters of your selected fixtures. Edward
  8. Hi Nes, Currently ZerOS Remote apps cannot remember passwords. Unless you have other devices on the same network, in most cases you can get away with disabling this level of security, as someone would have to know the router’s password first, before connecting to the network. Full filter lookups are only available on the full size FLX console. FLX S only has the ability for Mood Boards by LEE Filters. What you could do to cheat, is load your show file into PhantomZerOS running as FLX, select your fixtures, choose your filter and record it as a palette. Then resave the showfile and load it into FLX S, and you’ll be able to use the palette. Edward
  9. Hello, Yes that is correct, FLX uses an internal CR2032 3v coin cell battery for the clock. This is a quick and easy replacement, if you feel happy you can open the console up yourself. If your console is still within warranty, you may want to get this replaced under warranty by your chosen Zero 88 distributor. If you would like access instructions or would like to see if your console is still in warranty, please drop us an email to support@zero88.com, along with your console's serial number. Any queries let me know. Edward
  10. Hello, The latest public release software is ZerOS 7.9.4. New FLX S consoles are currently being manufactured with ZerOS 7.9.4.3, which allows for hardware compatibility. ZerOS 7.9.5 will be the next software version to be released. If you would like a preview of this software, please send us an email to support@zero88.com, requesting access to the beta version. Any queries let me know. Edward
  11. Hi Glenn, There is not a master effect rate control, however Speed Override will control the rate of your effects. Speed Override is found on the second encoder wheel by tapping Z/Shift, and can be used to slow down or speed up the running effect on the currently viewed playback. Therefore to choose which playback you wish to control, hold VIEW and tap your playback's button. You can also configure Speed Override to be controlled by a fader as well as an encoder, by holding SETUP and choosing an empty playback button. You can then select Speed Override from the options. Hope that helps, any queries let me know. Edward
  12. Hello, FLX S consoles do not have any DMX In functionality. The option is shown inside the Fixture Schedule to aid show file compatibility with other ZerOS consoles that do have DMX In. The DMX XLR ports can be configured by tapping SETUP -> Inputs & Outputs. Hope that helps, Edward
  13. Hello, Software updates can only be loaded in via SETUP -> Load File if you are running ZerOS 7.9 or later. As you are running ZerOS 7.8 you will have to boot into the software on a USB drive. The thread Kevin has linked to above should help you out. If you have any issues just let me know. Edward
  14. Hi Harry, To program a submaster (which in the new software is referred to as a playback containing a single cue), create your lighting state, tap RECORD, and then tap the playback button to store to. SHIFT + FADER FUNCT will open your Faders Window to show you what they're currently doing. SHIFT + SUB will open your Playback directory. It is worth mentioning the SUB and STACK keys in the latest software both have identical functionality. Holding SETUP + tapping a playback's button will enter the playback's settings. You may find the document below useful, which goes through the software changes... http://support.zero88.com/988876801 Hope that helps, if you have any queries just let me know. Edward
  15. Hi Harry, Great, really glad to hear it! For future software updates, it will be as simple as plugging in a USB stick with the downloaded software on, tap SETUP -> Load File, and load it in. Any queries let me know. Edward
  16. Hi Martin, FLX will auto detect when a monitor is connected, and choose the best resolution for that monitor. You can manually force your own resolution if you wish from the list of options FLX displays in SETUP -> System Settings -> External Display. Edward
  17. Hi Nes, To delete a playback, tap DELETE, and tap the Playback's flashing button. You will then be asked to confirm, as deleting playbacks cannot be undone. From your description, an Inhibit playback will achieve what you are after. With the inhibit playback down, your 4 channels will not function. You would therefore leave your inhibit fader at full, giving you normal full control over your 4 channels, and then if you want to dim all of them together proportionally, you can use your inhibit playback. Any queries let me know. Edward
  18. Hi Harry, OK thanks for trying that. Each version of software is entirely independent from one another, therefore it doesn’t matter what software version you are running and which you are trying to install. If that method didn’t work, then you may want to try modifying the console’s BIOS setting. Only do this if you feel competent to do so, as incorrect BIOS modification could result in the console becoming temporarily unusable. For instructions on how to change this, see the instructions below... http://support.zero88.com/Legacy-products/Legacy-Consoles/Legacy-ZerOS/ORB-XF/1029171021/ORB-Series-Software-Update-Issues.htm If you have any questions regarding this, please contact support@zero88.com, and one of the team will be able to guide you through. If you have any queries let me know. Edward
  19. Hi Nes, To record an intensity master for 4 channels, push those channels to full, tap RECORD, and then tap a flashing playback button you wish to store this too. Double tap CLEAR, make sure your faders are controlling playbacks, and you’ll then be able to fade your playback up and raise the level of the recorded channels. If you hold SETUP and tap the button of the playback you just recorded, you can set the Intensity mixing to be Inhibit. This means these particular channels will no longer come on unless this playback is up- a little bit like a Grand Master just for those channels. Hope that helps and makes sense, any queries let me know. Edward
  20. Hi George, No problem at all thanks for letting me know. Glad it is now working. Edward
  21. Hi George, I haven't seen that before. What operating system are you running on your PC? Have you tried restarting your PC since installing PhantomZerOS? Edward
  22. Hi George, Great thanks for that. After pressing Go and hovering over the tick boxes, if they haven't already become available you should then be able to use them Edward
  23. Hi Harry, OK thanks for letting me know. What size USB storage device are you using? We recommend in the range of 1GB to 8GB. Have you tried a different USB storage device? If that doesn't help, try following the guide below and see if that helps you... http://support.zero88.com/Consoles/ORB-XF/998317101/Advice-when-performing-ZerOS-software-upgrades.htm Any queries just let me know. Edward
  24. Hi George, That sounds odd. Can you confirm you are running PhantomZerOS version 7.9.4? You can find out by clicking About. It is correct that until you press Go, the tick boxes are greyed out, as Phantom ZerOS needs to know which console you are using before showing which windows are available to open. You should find when opening the software, you can choose the desk type from the drop-down, click Go, and then choose which windows you wish to Show or Hide with the tick boxes. Hope this helps, Edward
  25. Hi Harry, Instructions on how to install ZerOS 7.9.4 onto your ORB can be found in the Release Notes, that are available to download with the console software and PhantomZerOS here... https://zero88.com/forum/files/file/17-zeros-794/ Download the USB Install Creator application onto a PC, and after unzipping/extracting run the application. Insert a USB Memory Stick into your Windows PC when prompted and follow the on screen instructions of the USB Install Creator. After a few minutes, the install creator will instruct you to remove the USB Memory Stick, which now contains the software update for the console. Remove the USB Memory Stick from your PC and insert it in one of the console's USB ports, preferably the one next to the Ethernet port. Power on the console and it will automatically boot into the software update application. It is recommended that you have a monitor, keyboard and mouse connected to perform this update. Press the [Install ZerOS] button on the monitor and the software will be installed. Once the update is complete, you can remove the USB Memory Stick and reboot the desk. At this point your desk contains the latest software. As Kevin mentions, future software updates may now be loaded into the console as simply as loading a show file. Hope that helps, any queries let me know. Edward
