Thanks all the the information and steers. I have a Novation Mini MK3 and Kenton USB midi host mk2 winging their way to me now. I was wondering if Phantom ZerOS was able to interface with the midi as I do most of my programming using Phantom ZerOS on a PC with Capture....??

Thanks David, I will take a little time to read in and see what is best for me. I am assuming that once the laptop has been used to set up the pad there is no further use for it i.e. I dont need to have it attached on a live show. Will I need to get a DIN to mini USB connector for between the pad and FLX....?? Much appreciated

Does anyone do this, what are your experiences and recommendations for a midi controller please. just toying with the idea to give me some instant hands on control and not shuffle through pages.

Hi, When setting up the movers in fly in/out (pre-recording) they work just fine i.e. the vertical movement timing and intensity on/off points are just right. On recording these to a playback the timings are different i.e. intensity comes on/goes off midway through the movement. I have had this problem previously but never posted. This is probably a lack of knowledge on my part but just wondering if anyone has come across this before please.

Hi folks, I had a bit of a glitch tonight when programming. I was programming movers and using effects (lightning in this particular case). I got a windows prompt telling me Zero88 had stopped working and will be shut down. I did that and re-started .... all seems to be OK. File attached. debug_10-9-2020_16-59-50.zdb

Thanks Ed, I have been playing with palettes for some time now and not come across this issue. I have set them up separately but they are not being able to be selected independently from the palette. Baffling me......?? From the point of just adding the new fixtures they appeared in the original palettes when selected.

Hi, I wondered if I can get some help please as I am obviously doing something wrong. I had a number of position palettes set up for my original 6 movers. I am now setting up an additional 4 and regardless of just recording them onto a separate position palette the originals are also moving. The movers (original and new) are the same type with the same fixture profile.

I have 6 movers programmed on my FLX but looking to get 4 more. I have all the fixture profile attributes added to cue lists so full control of every aspect of them. Is there a quick way to add identical fixtures. I understand I will have to adjust the positioning palettes but was hoping there is a quick way to get them to respond to the programming already set up.....??

Thanks for this. On the main issue for me i.e. the lag when selecting various playback pages. All seems good although I have only used PhantomZerOS at this stage. On the fixtures turning red i.e. legacy. What would be the drawbacks of just sticking with the fixture files I have currently please....??

Hi, I was wondering if there is a way of doing the following on a cue stack. I have a number of cues on a stack for the control of moving heads and as I flick through I just raise the intensity when I like. I was wondering if there is a way of reducing the fader intensity to 0 without the cue re-setting i.e. it stays active and all mover attributes remain the same....?? Thanks in advance as always.

Thanks both, much appreciated. So as I read it the desk I have is capable of outputting 4 universes to physical output 1 or 2. The thing is how do I actually do that. I went into setup>universes and tried what I thought was a logical change but it stayed as was.....??

Hi, on reading the manual it states 'each of the outputs can be mapped to any of the DMX universes'. Has anyone done this and how did you do it. Also am I correct to assume you need to get the Universe Upgrade applied before being able to do so. Thanks in advance.

Hi, I need to use a number of 'Solo' effects on my current show run. Is there any way of introducing the 'Solo' function on a cue in a stack please....??

Hi Ed, I have just done a show run and this problem came up on numerous occasions. Unfortunately it spoiled a couple of moments. Are there any thoughts on why this may be and any fixes ahead please. For info it is happening on my PC too....???
