  3. Hi JordDT, Can you be a little more specific about what you're having problems with? The Jester ML24 is very capable of crossfading lights in many different ways (dimmer fades, split fades, attribute fades, etc). If you can tell us what are you trying to achieve, we can talk you through how to do this. I hope this helps, Peter
  4. Hi James Better than that - we have a whole dedicated iPhone remote launching for the ZerOS consoles (Leap Frog 48, Leap Frog 96, Frog 2 and ORB) - Peter
  5. Zero 88 Fixture Library - Version 22 Contains 2297 fixtures from 164 different manufacturers. For a list of fixtures in the library ... CLICK HERE. The library is released in 2 formats: - a full unfiltered version for desks running ZerOS software (Frog 2, Leap Frog 48, Leap Frog 96, ORB). - a smaller filtered version for other Zero 88 desks. This removes data that is not used by these other desks, so that the file is smaller. When using a floppy disk (original Frog series, Illusion500) it is recommended that the floppy disk be freshly formatted before copying the library onto it. The correct format of the library for your desk can be downloaded from the relevant product support page. The files are zipped, and must be unzipped before they can be used. If you experience problems using the built-in zip file functions of Windows XP, then try Winzip. The library (.ift file) should be placed in the root directory of the floppy disk or USB stick. ZerOS desks (Frog 2, Leap Frog 48, Leap Frog 96, ORB) - The latest fixture library is automatically installed on the desk as part of each operating software update, however this can be updated from USB if required in Setup -> Files -> Update Fixture File. JesterML & JesterTL - The fixture library is installed on the desk at manufacture, however this can be updated from USB if required in Setup -> Update Fixture Lib -> Update Library. Frog Series and Illusion 500 - the fixture library should be copied to a floppy disk. Diablo - the fixture library is used with the Diablo Fixture Manager PC software. Sirius 250/500 - use the Fixture Type Editor to import fixture types from the fixture library, and then use the 'Export Sirius UFT' function (under the 'File' menu) to generate data in the correct format for the Sirius 250/500. Further details of assigning fixtures on the desk to fixture types in the fixture library can be found in each desk's operating manual. If you need a fixture type which is not in the library, then you can create this yourself using the Fixture Type Editor. If you post a link to the manufacturers datasheet on the forum, we will endeavour to add the fixture in the next library release.
  6. We've just uploaded a video which shows off one of the new features coming in ZerOS 5.4.0 Take a look - Peter
  7. Hi CJB That does sound odd. Can you check that your desk is set to "A Faders B Stored" and that the two masters (A and are at the top? Also, do you have SHIFT held down, or is the LED in the PAGE A flashing? Peter
  8. Hi Jabbra Please contact our technical support line on +44 (0)1633 833 101 - they will be able to assist in getting your console up and running again. Peter
  9. In the Output Window, select "Window Setup" and change from "Details (%)" to "Details (DMX)".
  10. Hi Stephen You can find a list of our distributors on our website - these should all be able to help you out. http://www.zero88.com/en/distributors/5/5 Peter
  11. Hi Alex To lock the desk, simply press SPECIAL, then LOCK, then LOCK ALL - the desk will ask for a PIN (the default is 0000) and then it will lock. You won't be able to perform any functions until you unlock the desk - press UNLOCK (on the MFKs) or press ENTER and then enter the unlock PIN. I hope this helps, Peter
  12. Mike Here you go - it's a rough one i've just added quickly to help you out. Let me know how it works for you, Peter aspot700hpe.ift
  13. Hi Kev The problem with this fixture is that it has multiple modes that the gobo channel can run in, which are determined by the 'function' channel. As the ORB can't dynamically change these palettes, we can't reliably know that the palettes will work every time so we don't enter that data into the library. Sorry about this - you could always modify the fixture type to add the data for the mode that you use the fixture in, if that helps? Peter
  14. Hi Stuart Please find attached the iMove 200 profile as requested. Regards, Peter imove200.ift
  15. Hi Kev This is already on our wish list - it has reference number ZOS-2835. Your thoughts will be added to the discussion of this topic. Thanks,
  16. Hi Kev We're actually working on an update for the remote at the moment... watch this space! Peter

    UDF

Hi Kev, You can do this using Subs - in the submaster setup menu (SUB n SETUP) you can define the Release action. Hope this helps! Peter
  18. Hi Gordon Please send it to me - peter.kirkup@cooperindustries.com - and i'll investigate. Peter

    UDF

Which function of the UDFs do you miss, Kev?
  20. Hi LJ If you contact your Zero 88 dealer who you bought the product from, they'll be able to provide you pricing on the upgrade card. Kind Regards, Peter
  21. Hi Tom I can understand what you're asking for - the concept of adding Non Tracking mode was really designed for those users who don't understand tagging and so on, so we decided to remove the ability to manually 'tag' a channel. I've added your request to our database though - reference ZOS-2992. I hope this helps, Peter
  22. Hi Labby To create your gobo and colour movement I would program a submaster - first make sure you have created Auto Palettes (SETUP / PATCH / AUTO MENUS / CREATE AUTO PALETTES) and then select the fixtures and set them moving around using an effect. Set the size/speed as required and then add the colour and gobo. Now press Submasters and select the one you want to programme, then press the red RECORD button. For the LED parcans, you'd be best off patching them onto the MFKs like you do with the Moving Lights - use the same patching method as you did with the fixtures, and then once you've got them patched, you can use the wheels to set the colour and brightness of the fixtures. I hope this helps - please let us know if we can answer any more questions! Peter
  23. Hi Josh Yes, this is possible - you'll need to run the desk in Partial Mode - to do this, go into Super User (+, - and ENTER) and select Desk Setup, Program Mode and choose Partial. Now only moving light attributes you change will be stored, like 'record by channel' on the Avolites Pearl. Changed attributes are 'tagged' for recording - to untag them, hold down SHIFT and move the wheel - the LCD display will change to ---. Note that the default setting in Partial mode will always store intensity channels for all fixtures in all memories/subs, so if you don't want the sub to control intensity, wheel it down before recording. I hope this helps, Peter

    Bugs..

Hi Will Do you have any buttons stuck down or anything leaning on your keyboard? This is the most likely cause of the problems you're seeing. If not, can you confirm if this 'click' is with the MFKs or on the monitor? If on the monitor, is it using a touchscreen or a normal mouse? Thanks Peter
  25. Hi Sam This does sound like it is most likely a hardware fault. I would suggest getting your Zero 88 dealer to take a look at the desk and giving it a service - this would spot a problem like this and is a good course of action after the desk has been in service a couple of years anyway. I hope this helps, Peter
