  1. Hi Openeyes This is due to the fact that intensity is always stored into submasters. If you set the intensity of the LEDs to 0% whilst storing the subs, then store another one with intensity at full and no attributes tagged, then you can use that sub to set the intensity and the other subs to set the colour. Does that help? Peter
  2. Hi Openeyes This sounds like your fixture intensity might be set to 100% in run mode. In Run Mode, select the fixture and manually wheel the intensity down. Each fixture has an intensity level in run mode, which is mixed highest takes precedence with the submasters and memories. If this is set to a higher value than your sub is programmed at, this is the exact behaviour you'd see. I hope this helps you out - let me know how you get on, Peter
  3. Hi guys, We've identified a number of bugs associated with the iPhone which seem to be related to pop-up windows appearing and the iPhone re-drawing when you switch between portrait and landscape views. These are being worked on at the moment and we should have another software release pretty soon to fix these issues. I hope that this helps to clear things up and will let you know once we have something to test. Peter
  4. Hi Chris Have you considered a Demux? http://www.zero88.com/en/products/3/50 This would allow you to upgrade to using a DMX desk whilst keeping your old dimmers. might be an option, Peter

    Bugs..

Hi Chris Thanks for this report - that's not something we've noticed before! It'll be fixed in the next software release - reference ZOS-3054. Peter
  10. Hi Ludolive You can view a list of supported touchscreens here: http://support.zero88.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=3913 The iiyamas are listed as assumed working, so it would be worth trying. Peter
  11. Hi Gareth To do this you need to LOAD the UDK, then set the fade time, then update the UDK. We will be adding a better user interface to this in the future, but for now this is the best way to achieve what you want. Peter
  12. Hi Roland If you switch you preset channels into HTP mode then you can use them without affecting the show playback. This is done in SETUP / DESK SETUP / BEHAVIOUR / PRESET MIX MODE. I hope this helps, Peter
  13. Hi T&B You'll need to patch the Jugglers channels (1 to 24) as channels 25-48 on the Jester. Because these channels aren't patched by default, the Jester doesn't store them. Once they are patched, you should see them stored into cues and away you go. As far as the LED fixtures go, the Jester supports a virtual brightness channel which scales the Red, Green and Blue channels accordingly. If you add this into the fixture personality, then you should be able to make them follow the fade times etc. I hope this helps, Kind Regards, Peter
  14. Hi Will, The Leap Frog version of the Remote doesn't feature the keypad, so you don't get the Record button - I believe this is what Carl is referring to. Peter
  15. Hi Col This sounds like it could be down to a hardware fault - please call the office on Tuesday (Monday is a bank holiday) - +44(0)1633 838088 - they'll be able to check that out for you and arrange a repair if necessary. Peter
  16. Hi G No, that's not normal - sounds as if somehow your installation didn't finish properly. Can you try installing again and let us know how you get on? Thanks Peter
  17. ZerOS Remote for iPhone is now available for purchase in the App Store. Click here to purchase.
  18. Hi W2EAG, Can you confirm you're runnign the latest software version (Version 5.4.0) and which method you're using to adjust the fade times? We can then look at why this might be. Peter
  19. Hi Openeyes I guess you're using the moving light effects engine with your moving lights, rather than chases? These should still be stopping when the fader reaches zero - are the effects programmed into a cue, a palette or a submaster? One suggestion as a temporary solution would be to record palettes to stop the attributes you want to 'home' and activate those. Peter
  20. Thanks for checking Piero - we've had another report of this from another Frog 2 user, so we're looking into a software fix for this now. I'm sorry for the delay in getting this sorted, we should have a fix soon. Peter
  21. Hi Tom You could post the paper forms to Claire House: Usk House Llantanam Park Cwmbran NP44 3HD
  22. Hi Piero No, you will need version 5.4.0 to run the iPhone remote. We're pretty sure we fixed that bug in 5.3.5 so thats why i'm curious if maybe this is a slightly different issue like the battery running out. After that's checked, we can double check our changes! Peter
  23. Hi Piero This could be related to the battery inside your console being flat - the battery on the motherboard needs to be changed every 2-3 years. This is a standard CR2032 type 3.3v battery, which should be available from most electronics shops. Can you try changing this (contact our Support number +44 (0)1633 838088 if you need advice on how to do this) and then let us know if this fixes the problem? Thanks, Peter
  24. Hi Tom If you have access to a scanner, you can scan the form and email it to claire.house@cooperindustries.com Peter
  25. Version 2.5.0.0 of the Fixture Tools has been released, which adds the facility to add images to fixture types and gobo details. This is available from the product specific download pages. Fixture Type Editor The Fixture Type Editor is a PC (Windows) based tool that allows you to create or modify fixture type data files for use on the ORB, Frog 2, Leapfrog48/96, JesterML/TL, Frog Series, Illusion 500 and Diablo lighting desks. DOWNLOAD HERE. You can also use the tool to export fixture files in the correct format for the Sirius 250/500 desks. A user guide for the fixture editor is also available from the link above. This guide talks you through the process of creating a user fixture type. Once the user fixture type is created, please upload it to this forum in order for us to add it to the fixture database. You may also wish to look at a tutorial produced by one of the forum members (Yves) which shows you how to create a new fixture type file ... Fixture Editor Tutorial - CLICK HERE Common Fixture Manager The original Frog series desks have 20 common fixture types stored on the desk. You can change these if you want to, to match fixtures that you commonly use. To do this, download and install the Fixture Tools (see above). It's also worth downloading the latest version of the fixture library at the same time. Run the Common Fixture Manager. You'll then see the following text which guides you through the rest of the process... Getting Started. The Frog series consoles have the ability to store up to twenty fixture types in the Flash memory of the console so that users are less dependant on the Library floppy disk which could get damaged or lost while on site. The Common Fixture Manager allows you to select from the factory issued Library and from user libraries which fixture types you would like to be stored in the consoles Flash memory. This does not affect the use or operation of disk based libraries in any way. After starting the Common Fixture Manager select Insert from the Edit menu. By first selecting from which library file you wish select fixtures and by then clicking in the box beside the fixtures you require you can create your Common fixtures file. You can repeat the process using different library files until you have twenty fixtures. By then selecting Save as from the File menu you can save your *.cft file to disk. Use the Load CFT in the Floppy Disk menu in Super User mode to install the new file. If you would like to reset your Common fixture types back to the factory default you will find a common.cft file on the software installation disk shipped with the desk. Note that installing new operating software on the desk will overwrite your custom *.cft file, and you will need to reinstall your custom *.cft file after performing an upgrade. If you have any questions on the Fixture Tools, please feel free to start a new topic in this forum.
