Hi Matt Your description is correct. Once you have a DMX address set on the fixtures, those faders will control the fixtures parameters corresponding to those channels. For example, if you set the fixture to DMX address 25 and its fixture personality was 1) Colour, 2)Gobo, 3)Pan, 4)Tilt, 5)Dimmer, then the faders would work as follows: 25: Colour 26: Gobo 27: Pan 28: Tilt 29: Dimmer I hope this helps,

Hi Stuart With the latest software, check that you have Beamshape set to <Channel> in the Partial Mode settings - this means you can tag each beamshape attribute individually. In <All> mode, all channels under Beamshape will be tagged together. I hope this helps, Peter

At present you have to plug in an external keyboard to access these functions - we recommend a small USB keyboard such as this one for use with the desk. Regards,

JesterML - move-on-dark and auto-triggers/dwell times
Kirkup_xp replied to joolsclinn's topic in Jester Range
Hi Joe Just a note to let you know that Auto Triggers and Dwell times made it into release 2.4 for the Jester MLs - available now. I hope this feature helps you out Peter -
Hi Adam Having taken a bit more of a look at the user manual for the fixture, it uses a funny sequence for its channels (Blue, Red, Green) rather than the conventional Red, Green, Blue. Therefore I have attached a modified fixture profile for you to use with this fixture. You can load this into the desks using the Add Fixtures screen in Setup. Kind Regards, Peter Moderation: Topic moved to Leap Frog 48 & 96 forum. rainbowpar.ift

Hi Adam, and welcome to the forum. The Rainbow Pars will patch in as an "RGB Dimmer" which means you will get 4 control wheels on the desk - Red, Green, Blue and Dimmer. These are accessible on the Multi Function Keys, which can also be used for the auto-generated palettes or using the on-screen colour picker. I hope this helps - let us know how you get on with the desk and if you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to contact me. Kind Regards, Peter

Hi Christian You can go back to versions before 5.0.0, however you might come across a problem during the installation. If your desk fails to boot properly after installing, try the following: - Boot the USB Installer and select "Install Desk OS". Just as the message "Installing Bootloader." appears (this comes after "Formatting disk."), switch off the desk. - Switch the desk on again, and boot the USB Installer a second time. Select "Install Desk OS" again but this time let the install complete fully. - Switch off the desk, remove the USB memory stick, and switch on again. The desk should boot normally. The root cause of this problem was fixed in version 5.0.0 software, so from version 5.0.0 onwards you don't have to do this to get a bootable desk. I hope this helps, Peter

Hi metraflex Can you confirm that you converted the ISO file into a CD using "Deep Burner"? We have had some users experience problems using other CD burning packages. Thanks, Peter

Hi Christian We have a release on its way which will fix the groups bug - this will be another couple of weeks. I'll look into the ELO screen problem. Kind Regards, Peter
-
Hi Mike How did you get on with trying it? As far as I can tell the profile should work. Kind Regards, Peter
-
Hi Christian As you can see in this topic, we've already identified the Groups thing - this is in progress of being fixed and we will release a new version soon to fix this one. With regards the label being wrong, again this has been found - reference ZOS-2751. Lastly, can you explain what happens on the ELO screens when you don't see the correct behaviour - does anything happen? Which model of ELO screen are you using? Thanks, Peter

Hi Jon The speed of the chase is stored along with the chase steps - if you go back into Program mode, select a step and set the speed you require, then when you overwrite the step (by pressing the PROGRAM/GO button and selecting <Overwrite>), the chase will output at the speed you have defined. I hope this helps, Peter

Hi Karl Thanks for the suggestion - we've logged it in our project planning software and it will be considered for a future release. Reference JES-2766. I hope this helps, Peter

Hi Joe How did you get on? I can't think of anything obvious to check - would be interesting to know whether you got to the bottom of it Kind Regards, Peter

Setting shutter closed on blackout on MH250 fixture library?
Kirkup_xp replied to johng's topic in General Discussion
Hi John The only way to do this would be to move the "Shutter" channel into the "Brightness" attributes - this would cause the channel to be sent to 0% when the blackout is engaged. Currently the Jester MLs don't close the shutter when the blackout button is engaged. I hope this helps clear things up, Peter -
Thanks for the feedback Kev - i've logged these in our future ideas - reference ZOS-2752 and ZOS-2753. Kind Regards, Peter
-
Hi Kev This has been logged as a bug - reference ZOS-2751 I can't recreate this one - can you give me some more information or a show file I can try? Thanks, PEter

Hi Kev Thanks for this one - we hadn't spotted it. I've added it to the bug tracking system as reference ZOS-2750. Kind Regards,
