theritically you only use 3 pins for info right now may change later as technology changes! You can make a adapter but connecting a 3 pin xlr to a 5 pin xlr depending on whether your fixture is 2 or 3 pin hot ! It should tell you in your console or fixture manual which pins are actually used for your consloe! I hope this helps! It is a good Idea to always keep several of these turn-arounds available at all times as this could be a show stopper on set-up! I keep both 5 pin male to 3 pin female and 5 pin female to 3 pin male! It would be nice although more expensive to build, to have a switch rather than just unplugging my console! I have 2 bullfrogs and 1 fatfrog that sometimes lose all programing when turned off when leaving a venue! I do back up my programs but it seems the shock of the power down has bad reaction to the console! is there a better way to power down as opposed to just unplugging the console! would some sort of built in power conditioner help! The elations are brighter than my 12 mac 250s ! I have 4 elation focus spots that are also brighter than the macs! I believe that elation finely got it right! The problem is that I need attributes for the basic as they take 10 channels and the power washs take 15 channels as they have cmy in addition to the color wheel! Zero 88 has yet to post them for me but I talked to I believe Richard and he is supposed to do that! If you get the elations get the power washs ! They are built well! The focus spot are 1 arm yoke and tend to get bent easily!
