  1. I’ve not got as many movers as you but I do use position palettes and groups a lot and I don’t think I’ve seen this. (FLX 7.13). But that in no way precludes that you’ve not identified a corner case bug! My only suggestion would be to delete those groups and palettes and then carefully reconstruct the groups and then the palettes. Unless you are doing some blind programming with intensity off, I would expect you can leave SmartTag on. Snapshot however would almost certainly be a bad thing and could easily result in what you’re seeing.
  2. Think I’ve only posted (and edited) the once and it was ok. …Or that might have been on another forum… 🤣 I dunno, I’ve been (vaguely) to sleep since Tuesday. So here’s a post…! … which seems to have worked from my phone which wasn’t the case before. So this is an edit…
  3. Shift+GO (Edward, it doesn’t say this on either the Master Playback or Playing Back Cues manual pages - could it be added? I’m sure it is stated somewhere, but I couldn’t find it. Also page next/previous buttons would make a real difference, it’s very slow to navigate the manual on a phone.) Ah here it is, see Snap To Cue: https://www.zero88.com/manuals/zeros/cues-playbacks/playing-back-cues/running-cue-stacks
  4. Hi Jon, One example of a fail for me included a reply with a link to the FLX manual (the Output Window query on FLX S, Edward has posted that link now). I don't know if having a link in my reply was part of the issue (I suspect not), but mentioning it anyway. You've also addressed the query on move on dark not only being for position, so that one is dealt with too 🙂
  5. I still can't reliably add comments to posts. I tried several times over the past few days to help various posters. only to receive the Access Denied response. I logged out and in again. Didn't help. I cleared the Cache on Chrome. Didn't help.
  6. Not quite what you're after but the only thing I can think of is to use the Effect Step On and set the offset to Random. You might need to wind up the speed a bit. This doesn't do all the things you want but might be a start? Talking rubbish again!
  7. This is me from a normal window...
  8. Test from iPhone chrome incognito tab.
  9. The manpage for the USB Creator says that method doesn't work on FLX S. FLX S came out after that legacy update procedure ended. The ZerOS version number should show in the bottom right of the internal screen at startup, and under the Z button.
  10. Forum is still pretty messed up. I can post on occasion then immediately after I can’t edit or post again.
  11. Setup->Load Can’t see you’d have 7.7 on S24, desk wasn’t out at that version. Must be at least 7.9. My FLX is older and that came with 7.8.4.
  12. This thing keeps going down and keeps losing my posts, so I'm having one last try then I'm giving up until it gets more stable!
  13. Did you manage to get the debug report onto a USB stick? If you haven't already, I'd attach it here or email in to support@zero88.com (with a covering note) so Edward can take a look at it.
  14. OK it works. Glad it's back! Phew!
  15. Let's see if this post works... Edward says their "new" IT has had a lot of server issues.
  16. So combining this with Edward's answer sounds like you need: A "first Q" A following "Auto With" cue with a Delay "a number of seconds" To allow them to overlap properly and only control "their own" fixtures you'll almost certainly need to be in Tracking and use SmartTag or your own careful tagging to make sure you only record what you need in each cue - the "Auto With" one being the most critical.
  17. We’ll there should be ‘nothing to know’ really - the fixture should just work for colour and intensity like any other. Sounds a bit like the fixture profile is wrong for the actual device, like the DMX channels are mixed up. If you have the opportunity I’d patch a bunch of 1-channel dimmers from the base address of one of your x-Bricks and see what each channel does. List what you find here and with your show file Edward should be able to decode what the fixture profile says versus what you found from a channel-by-channel analysis.
  18. If you can upload your showfile here, I'm sure Edward will take a look at what's going on with that fixture. Is there anything weird about it like it doesn't have an intensity channel (as such, not as e.g. a beam parameter). Also let us know if you're in Tracking and whether SmartTag is enabled.
  19. No, just one. Otherwise you will double-terminate - the two 120 ohm resistors will be in parallel resulting in a 60 ohm termination which is the incorrect termination for a 120 ohm transmission line.
  20. Retirez toutes les clés USB. Quelle version de ZerOS ? Avez-vous changé quelque chose récemment (matériel/logiciel) qui aurait pu déclencher les problèmes ? Remove any USB sticks. What ZerOS version? Did you change anything recently (hardware / software) that may have triggered the problems?
  21. Ed, record here the versions of ZerOS / ZerOS Monitor you're using and seeing the problems with, it's the first thing Edward will need to know before he can help you.
  22. To elaborate on the discussion above (and hopefully not confuse you more). If I'm reading this correctly, then maybe you can programme two Playbacks, one for each of the positions you want to manually "fade" to. As Edward says above, you need to record the final position of the mover for each required "cue". With the fader configured as "Controls Position" then you won't need to separately control pan and tilt on separate playbacks. So if you record (say) Playback 1 with the mover positioned at "stage steps" and Playback 2 with the mover positioned at "foyer exit" then the respective playback should be usable for you to manually "fade" the position from where-ever the mover currently is, to that respective "final" position (for both pan and tilt) per the playback. Whether the mover will track along a path of your liking is to be discovered, but I don't think you would have a good time with a playback being "pan" and one being "tilt" if that was your original thought (you could do this but you would also need to configure "Parameter Separate" for Position as by default, if you move Pan then Tilt will also get tagged and hence recorded - sorry if this bit makes no sense, I just wanted to confirm you could do that, but it requires a change to the desk default setup). I hope that helps!
