Stupid question, but is the FLX going to just have roman numerals (as I have seen advertised) or will the FLX still be available with the 0-9 buttons? Cheers, James

Yes, Jon can this be logged as a request, as I can agree with the want to be able to lock the console fully down, possibly to "freeze" the DMX outputs, so you can do your walk-in lighting but have the desk not respond to controls. An issue I can see is the operator forgetting the unlock code and panicking... James

I saved it as V2 of the show, when I load up my memory stick on phantom it detects V1 and Blank (which is just a blank file I use for training etc)

Hi All, When saving to a memory stick on our jester the desk correctly saved and I took the drive out. When I plugged the stick into my laptop to open on phantom the most recently saved file was an older version of the show, any ideas why? Thanks, James

Just to give a quick response, and it's worth checking the manual and getting other news but I think there is an option to change between LTP and HTP. LTP would give the effect you're describing HTP would be the dimmer mix Again, kinda just guessing xD

Sorry for the long delay, the LCD just says "TEST MODE, DMX:OK" the keyboard is working fine

Hi Ollie, For Gobo 3 to have a start value of 24 my guess is something else is before it, ending at 23. Select the items before it in the list, add the images and click replace, hopefully that will help. Cheers, James

I love the idea, honestly if they were at manageable times for me I'd join each session, even just to see the discussions. The only thing I'd add would be the live publish of logs of these chats that we can view at a later date. James

Hi, I've been looking at the FLX training videos and I didn't notice a mention of a VGA port, is there one of the FLX that can be used for non-touch screens, or do I have to use a DVI connection? Cheers, James

I think it's a very sensible idea, it means operators would be able to transfer skills across consoles more easily.

What is the make of the screen and keyboard?

I agree, always just keep a memory stick backup. Although to ensure extra safety, I make sure the backup is on my spare pyro keyring, never getting lost

Hi Guys, Doing some programming on our jester earlier, I had a usb keyboard plugged in to name cues, and it worked for the first 3 cues, then the keyboard stopped responding. When I unplugged the keyboard the shift was locked in place, which obviously messed with the cues. Turning the desk on an off again fixed the problem, but the keyboard didn't respond again. Any ideas? Cheers, James

In the data sheet for the chilli 24-10i it says " Control Input: DMX via terminal block accepts DMX 512-1990. Start address set via front panel controls DMX termination may be switched in or out internally" Could someone explain what that means? Thanks, James
