  5. Dear All, Zero 88 Fixture Library version 40 has now been released. For full information, including a list of included fixtures, please visit: http://zero88.com/library This release contains 12,228 fixtures from 392 different manufacturers. The library is released in 2 formats: Full version for desks running ZerOS software (FLX, FLX S, Solution range, ORB range and Leap Frog 48 & 96). Filtered version for other Zero 88 desks. This removes data that is not used by these other desks, so that the file is smaller. When using a floppy disk (original Frog series, Illusion 500) it is recommended that the floppy disk be freshly formatted before using it. Download & Installation The correct format of the library for your desk can be downloaded by clicking the product name below. Please ensure your console is running the latest software before attempting to update. The library (.ift file) should be placed in the root directory of the floppy disk or USB stick. ZerOS desks (FLX, FLX S, Solution range, ORB range and Leap Frog 48 & 96) To load this file into your console extract it to the root of a USB stick and plug into your console. Then tap SETUP, tap "Load", then select the GFT.ift file. JesterML & JesterTL To load this file into your console extract it to the root of a USB stick and plug into your console. Then tap Setup -> Update Fixture Lib -> Update Library. If the update fails, click here for more information. Frog Series and Illusion 500 Use 'Common Fixture Manager' (included in the Fixture Tools download) to select the fixtures you wish to use, and save this as a file to a floppy disk. Diablo The fixture library is used with the Diablo Fixture Manager PC software. Sirius 250/500 Use the Fixture Type Editor to import fixture types from the fixture library, and then use the ‘Export Sirius UFT’ function (under the ‘File’ menu) to generate data in the correct format for the Sirius 250/500. Further details of assigning fixtures on the desk to fixture types in the fixture library can be found in each desk’s operating manual. Additional Fixtures If you need a fixture type which is not in the library, please click here. If you have any questions let us know. Edward

  8. Hi Eric, It is still sat in my inbox at the moment, as we have been very busy with all our online training. However, I will be taking a look at this, and will email you the steps we’ll need to make to get it on our website. Again thanks so much for all your effort and passion for helping others with FLX. Edward
  9. Hi Eric, Great, thanks for the update, really glad to hear it. Edward
  10. Hello, Did you have time Edward to have a look on my French Manuel ? Thank

  12. Hello Edward and Kevin, Without problems for arranging a playlist for your "youtube channel". I work for helping FLX communication... ------------------------------------------ So I did tonight a other recording and started things from the beginning. (Before the beginning, just a little "Reset Desk.") And in this new sessions I will show - Add Fixture on 2 universe - Back up on USB after add Fixture - recording automatic palette (color/gobo/effect) - trying projector with Capture - making groupe - Naming groupe - checking groupes on capture - making first cue on master playback (with Capture). So I will finish recording tomorrow or Saturday. And after making some fews days with mixing/Cutting/Title and so an, I will post middle on next week my news videos... Thank for your messages. Take care, Eric
  13. Hi Eric, Sorry I haven't replied sooner. Yes as Kevin says, these are fantastic. I saw you posted on Audio Fanzine too for people to see. We will be in touch so we can arrange creating a playlist of these videos on the Zero 88 YouTube channel. Hey Kevin! Haven't seen you on here in a while, hope you're keeping well. Edward
  14. My French is on the (cough) poor side, but these are great Eric. Clearly a lot of work has gone into them. Great work! I hope you get favourable feedback from our French colleagues! Kevin

Eric VDA ---------------------------------------------- FLX 1 Presentation générale FLX 2 Presentation 2 Wings Manuel & Forum FLX 3 Présentation partie 1 des attributs FLX 4 Presentation Cues Playback Part 1 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello, To help those who are not comfortable with English, I decided to make some videos on the FLX. Presentation of the console and gradually I will make videos to help understand the basics of this console and show the possibilities. I'm not a pro at this kind of presentation, (Too many "heeeeuuuu" and "eeeeeeeeet) but at least I'm trying to show the basics. As I go, I will go through the manipulations of the FLX, ZerOS, Syntax, the touch screen, then Capture. Hoping that it could help each other! some other video will come later. 17. Ah got it, thanks Edward
  18. Hi Emrys, FLX only has a DVI-D monitor output, not a VGA output. The D-Sub connector on the rear of the console is a D-Sub 9 connector, used for remote switches. If you have any questions let us know. Edward
  19. Can you have a touch screen monitor connected via the dvi and an ordinary one via VGA at the same time to a FLX? Thanks

    Print Patch

No problems at all, Edward. I’m just updating our venue tech spec doc and fancied including the default patch as a table for convenience. Won’t take 2 shakes to type it out as we only have a small rig. Thanks as always Tom

    Print Patch

Hi Tom, Currently it still isn’t possible to export the patch. Only cue lists can be exported as a CSV file from the console. As suggested if you need to have a copy of your patch in front of you as you are addressing fixtures, you can either screen shot phantom ZerOS, or remotely connect a device to the console using the app and view the fixture schedule. If you have any questions let us know. Edward

    Print Patch

Hi Edward Just wondering if this feature is now included, and if so how do we go about exporting our patch sheet? Many thanks Tom
  23. Hello, To hold down a button in Phantom ZerOS, right click on a button in the Front Panel window. It will then remain “held”, allowing you to click another button. Make sure you then right click the button again to release it. Hope this helps, Edward
  24. Thank you so much for your quick reply (Seriously. You are lightning fast when it comes to these answers!) I have one more follow-up question regarding Phantom ZerOS: If you want to go to the cue stack window of a playback that is not the Master Playback on the Solution Console, how would you do that? On the actual console I would hold down the memories button and then tap on the Playback's Go button. In Phantom ZerOS, I can't hold down a button and press another one. Is there a shortcut for that?
  25. Hello, For our training sessions, we use a free version of Capture, that can be downloaded from our website below... http://support.zero88.com/1004254221 If you don’t have a console, you can practice with the visualisation software by linking Phantom ZerOS to Capture. For more information see below... http://support.zero88.com/988883201 Hope this helps, if you have any questions please let me know. Edward
  26. The "Let's Chat" thread in the announcement category mentions the following: What would this free visualiser option be? I would really like to do some programming but I don't have access to my console at the moment. I have also watched some of your recent training sessions on the Zero88 YouTube channel, which were really helpful and I would like to apply some of things that I've learned to my own workflow. I noticed that you were using the Capture software in your session, but as one license for that costs around 400€ and I can't afford that, I would like to know what this free option you were mentioning would look like.
  27. Hello, Great thanks for sharing the file. I will make sure this is added to the next fixture library release. If you have any questions let us know. Edward
  28. Hi Simon, Thanks for your comments. Hope you've been enjoying the streams. Yes - the streams will definitely be of use to Solution users too. We currently don't have this, but this is something we could look to create. In terms of general features, we have the comparison sheet below... https://zero88.com/control#compare Hope this helps, if you have any questions let us know. Edward
  29. Hi Edward, I did what you have suggested and it works fine : Zoom's special effects are now available. I would like to share this modified file with other users; I haStairvilleBS280update.iftve added cosmetic improvements such as colors and beam fitted with real color and beam wheels. Thanks a lot, Tereva
