Segmentation Fault

When installing a new firmware release of Co-Processor 1, if you recieve a 'Segmentation Fault' (displayed on a black screen, with additional debug information in white) users should complete the following steps:

  • Plug in an external USB keyboard
  • Power cycle the console, leaving the USB Memory Drive plugged into the console.
  • Using the arrow keys and enter/return buttons on the external keyboard, choose to reinstall Co-Processor 1 (please note that there can be a short delay of a few seconds between pressing a key, and that press being actioned on screen)
  • Follow the steps on screen.
