  1. Further to this topic it appears that our desk (leapfrog 96) struggles to clear these channels from the preset control holding down the preset control key and running the faders "lost" up and down repeatedly seems to bring them back. How do you know from the screen what preset the channels are hiding in. We NEVER use the leapfrog as a preset desk so is there or could there be an option to disable the preset button. other than taping a milk bottle top over it. the amount of time my board op has informed the crew that a lamp has blown or dimmer tripped and they trapse off to check the dimmers or get the genie lift out to change a lamp. Very Very annoying for what is now a software / button push problem that we could really do with out . Please add the disable preset control feature in the next update
  2. Hi I have just got hold of a midi upgrade card which states in the fitting instructions that it will fit a leapfrog. however the instructions differ from that of those on the website for the upgrade card. Are there 2 different types of card for the old leapfrogs and the new Leapfrog 48/ 96 I don't really want to go taking the desk apart before i know i have the right card for the job. cheers James
  3. As i speeak im just turning the desk into tracking mode And after some very good training from yourself Jon i'm haoppy to do so and know how to avoid those annoying little problems. 4. SOOOO heres the thing is this possible cue 1. blackout cue 2. 3 sec fade up on Cyc with night time look cue 3. 2min fade of cyc to day time look cue 4 DS lights up 10seconds into Cue 3 running Cue 5 US lights up 40 seconds into cue 3 running Effectively Cue 3 programmed with seperate lights to cue 4 and 5 but cue 3 running to its fade time while the cue stack continues on its merry way I assume that with tracking if cyc channels are not given another command they will not do anything different but will the fade times get cut off I am aware that other desks from other manufacturers etc. <--- hint have this element/function called Move-fade that seems to suggest this very thing is possible ^ | hint Is it possible on the ZEROS desks Cheers James Dainty
  5. hi After much tinkering. i can transfer a memory onto a submaster no problem. even a chase memory works perfectly However i can not transfer a submaster to the memory stack. I can record from what is being output from a submaster into a memory. but when the submaster is a chase it just copies the 1st step of the chase. this would be handy to have as a few of the touring companies send us a list of submasters that they wish to build up into states then put into the memory stack without having to play hunt the channel for a few minutes. an example of some subs would be blue wash | red wash | CS Spot FAST CHASE | SLOW CHASE we would then create a state with the blue wash and centre spot and record to a memory. next memory would then be centre spot with fast chase. But this only record the centre spot and step 1 of the chase. I have tried to transfer the chase but it doesn't seem possible. Am i missing something at all. Cheers guys James Dainty
  6. whens the likely release date i'm excited just little.
  7. Hi there I have luminair installed on my iphone and have got it to view the dmx outputs from the Leapfrog 96 however i have read on the forum that the leapfrog does not allow input from luminair over artnet. my question... Is there likely to be a software upgrade that can allow for luminair to control dmx via the desk or will it require a hardware upgrade. i ask so that i don't go out and buy an enntec artnet-dmx box when i'm sat with a perfectly capable bit of hardware that just needs telling whos boss. James
