Hello
the all video's are very nice.

I have a question. Is this function programmer time work´s for all consoles.

I know that the Solution series works by holding down the Time key.

What about the ORB series, FLX S series?

Thank you for your answer

Best regards

Hi Thomas,

Yes Programmer Time is available on all consoles running ZerOS 7.9.3.

Solution & ORB therefore have 2 methods of fading palettes, using a Playback to set the Programmer Time, or if you don't want to use a Playback holding TIME and tapping the palette you want to fade into.

As you say this time for Solution consoles is set under SPECIAL, which is the same time the 2 preset cross fade uses.

Hope that helps
Edward

Hi Edward

Thank you for your answer.

I only tested it on the Phantom ZeroOS.

With the solution I set up the Programmer Time function with Setup + Playback. There is no change to the Programmer Time! I see no changes in the lower right corner of the screen.
Keeping the Time button works well.

Orb changes are made to the Playback Programmer Time.
I see changes in the lower right corner of the screen.
When calling the palette, there is no fade!
Keeping the Time button works well.

I hope you understand me. What am I doing wrong?

Thomas

Hi Thomas,

On Solution, the display in the bottom right corner is the 2-Preset Time (the same time palettes take when TIME is held) set under Special, not the Programmer Time. To see the Programmer Time tap SUBMASTERS and you'll be able to see the Programmer Time playback's position in seconds or minutes. To activate programmer time you'll need to tap the Playback's button. You will then see it go from dark to light blue in the MFF Window.

Again on ORB Series, check that you've tapped the Programmer Time Playback's button to activate it. This is indicated in the bottom right monitor display which will go red, and also shown in the MFF Window on ORB XF. You can open the MFF window by holding SHIFT + FADER FUNC.

Hope that helps,
Edward

Thank you! It's fun to work with that knowledge.

Which Relase Notes or user manual is it written?

Should it again be a completely revised version of the manual to all consoles?

best regards

Thomas

These were great and very helpful - thanks.

Two suggestions/comments -

1: Sometimes we can't see what you're pointing at/changing on the monitor screen or on the desk touchpanel.

2: Fancy editing them together without the top and tail christmassy music to produce a great 'hints and tips' as a single video?  That would be great as watching them all sequentially gets like Chinese water torture with the music!

Keep up the good work.

Jason.
