The Leap Frog 48 can have up to 30 submasters per page. Go to SETUP > Desk Setup > Inputs and change 'Maximum Submasters per page' to '30'. You can then go and give each submaster a DMX address... which is the address patched to the fader of your 'playback wing'

You setup the submasters on the Leap Frog 48 as explained above, plug the Leap Frog into the DMX IN of the Leap Frog 48, and then use channels 1 - 48 of the Leap Frog as your playback wing (make sure you reset the Leap Frog so it has a 1-to-1 DMX patch)

Hi CBMatt,

Yes any DMX desk will work as a wing for the LF48, with upto 30 submasters per page. There are already 10 submasters on the LF48, so you have another 20 available. If you wish, you can have all thirty on the wing, and the first 10 will be identical to the 10 on the console itself.

The flash buttons will work as they do on the console, with the desk taking the related submaster to 100%. The console recognises the sudden 'snap' to 100%, and so will select that submaster, just like the flash buttons on the console itself do.

You can run a cue list from the 'wing', but obviously channel 1 on the 'wing' will be affecting submaster 1 on the console itself.
