spectralight Posted January 22, 2011 Report Share Posted January 22, 2011 Good news... Not the PSU... Make sure that you clean around the battery and remove all the gunge from the PCB. Any left on the PCB will cause nasties later. I have just had a zero 88 XL in the workshop that had not been cleaned after battery replacement. It was totaly non-functional. After a good clean up and some IC socket and IC replacements it was fine. CPC, Rapid electronics or RS would be your best bet. Good luck. Daniel.
