kbonnici Posted June 22, 2010 Report Share Posted June 22, 2010 i have an zero 88 chilly pro 4-10hf and i have connected it to my pc com1 port using db9 connection which is then converted to rs 485 so i can connect to the dmx of the device.. when i am sending data using the cmd commands mode com1:9600,n,8,1 to set the data bits etc /// and echo "@SC01:D01:LFF#">com1 i get data error from the device ....any ideas pls Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The sequence runs as follow: pc > rs 232 node > rj 12 cable > dimmer rj 12 connection. Without the node the network traffic will collide giving the error messages.
