Submaster Board for Leap 48

Hi,

i think a very good feature is an external Submasterboard s.

The Leap 48 had only 10 Submaster, i think it is not enough.

The Submasterboard can connect over the USB Port, like the Playback Wing at the HOG.

This is something we've talked about in the past. How much would you be willing to pay for a wing like this? Would other users think it would be useful? Would you just want 10 submasters or more? What about more MFKs? Would you want the wing to output DMX too?

is it possible use the dmx in to trigger certain submaster or memory cues!!??

No, the DMX In is currently used to add additional dimmer faders, which can be assigned to any patched fixtures using Edit Fixtures/Patch.

thank you for the quick answer. I think 15 Submaster Fader are enough. (with LCD Field )

 

The DMX Output is not necessarily. ( Do you mean like a Frog BOX)

 

MFK is a great Idea.

 

Yes i think other User´s like the Idea with the Submasterboard.

 

But the Price !!!!!!!!!

I think 1500 - 2000€ not more.

More Submasters - good idea!

Some more MFK - also good idea.

 

I think a dmx output makes sence if the box/wing can work "stand alone" and/or

you can output universe 3+4. The stand alone feature would be perfect for small jobs

with a view conventionals and moving heads, e.g exhibitions, trade shows, small club concerts - where the

LeapFrog is physically "oversized"

 

 

I know that you place the Jester consoles in that market - but

the show files are not the same.

 

 

Price?

For a "simple" wing with about 12 additional Faders, Displays and some MFKs not more than a juggler or jester desk.

 

With more features like dmx out and "stand alone mode" I would spend the same money as for a JesterML.
